Ipod touch 4G wont sync with itunes 10.7

I updated the Itunes software from 10.6 to 10.7 and now my ipod wont sync any new songs I put on my playlist, I can see all of the songs that were previously included on my playlist but if I try to add and sync the new songs they dont show up on my ipod, and also the same thing happens with my iPhone 3GS, so I want to know what is wrong with Apple and not resolving these issues, we pay for these devices and we expect a great service from them, because when I updated my Iphone 3GS to 5.1.1, my Iphone wouldnt activate neither from wifi, nor from Itunes, I called AT&T and they said that everythings working fine on their side but apple server were down so I had to wait, which Im still doing, I tried a solution that I found here, I uninstalled and reinstalled every itunes component and tried to sync again but it didnt work, so please can anybody help me and I also want to know if I update my Iphone 3GS to ios 6 would it activate or will I stay with a paper weight until the next update comes out?

Me too, click Sync. Does backup tasks, completes.
Does not copy any music from my library.
I have to say I think iTunes really *****, not sure why but always have issues with it as a product. Good job its free......!?

  • My Ipod touch 2g wont sync with itunes and itunes wont close

Itunes wont recognise my Itouch (2nd gen, 16gb,ios 4.2.1) and wont sync.  It occasionaly finds the ipod but doesnt sync and freezes whil displaying a rotating beachball symbol next to the device.  It does not load from then and does not reach the  itouch mangement screen (where you can sync, update,restore..) Occasionally when it does load up like normal or start to sync it gets stuck on syncing/verifing/backing up and gives the error  iTunes was unable to load data class information from sync services' in which i am unable to attempt to reset sync history as itunes crasheswhen prefrences is clicked to open.  While any of these proble occur itunes will not close properly (when the red x is pressed at the top right), i have to go through task manager.
    I have :

  • My ipod touch 4g wont sync with itunes or show up in itunes , ive tried all of the troubleshoot steps from apple but still nothing. any one got any idea??

does anyone have an idea as i dont really want to buy a new ipod and i need it as i am a dance teacher and i dont really like taking my laptop with me.

If you mean that the iPod does not appear in iTunes then:
If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
    Then try
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
    I would start with:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Why won't it sync? Are you getting any sort of error message during the sync process?  If so what is the exact wording of that error message?  If this the computer you normally sync the iPod with?

  • Ipod touch will not sync with itunes 9

i have a large libary on my ipod touch that wont sync to itunes. Also will not load playlist. Just purchsed a few shows and i try and sync and i says its done but still not on the ipod touch. please help!!

Syncing on a touch is iTunes -> iPod, not the other way around. If you have a large library on your iPod that doesn't exist anywhere else (very bad practice) and need to move things to iTunes, you have two choices:
    1. Purchased items can be transferred by selecting, in iTunes, File > Transfer my purchases
    2. Music you have added from CDs you ripped yourself: Google "Pod to PC" for a freeware program that can do this for you.
As to your purchased shows, you most likely downloaded them in the wrong format. iTunes lists programs in HD (for the Apple TV) and regular definition for the iPod. Just go back and download the correct version.

  • After restoring ipod nano it wont sync with itunes. states error 13019 occured

after restoring ipod nano it wont sync with itunes. states error 13019 occured

I seem to recall that another user has this problem and found that it was because of some corrupted music files they were trying to sync over.
Try syncing smaller bunches of tracks till you come upon the ones that cause the error. You should be able to find out which ones are causing the trouble this way.
The other user said they used something called MP3Diags. I cannot vouch for this software at all, I have never used it.
I did a quick search on "how to repair MP3 files on Mac" and also found this:

  • IPod Touch no longer syncing with iTunes?

    Mac OS X v10.4.11
    - all software up to date
    - iTunes 9.2.1 (5); no later updates available on this machine
    iPod Touch v3.1.3
This iPod Touch used to sync to iTunes just fine and dandy. Now it won't. I'm seeing that *now* in order to sync I have to upgrade (i.e. get a new mac) to v10.5?
    What gives?
Both used to sync fine and now they don't. Did Apple pull a fast one on me?

But my point is that one day it worked fine, and now it doesn't. Why would it stop working, if it once was supported? Did Apple push an update to my iPod which made it not supported by my machine? If so, that's pretty low.
If I buy a device and it works fine with my mac, it should stay working fine with my mac.

  • IPod Touch can't sync with iTunes.

I have an iPod Touch, 5th generation.  After updating to iOS 7.0.4, I am no longer able to sync with iTunes, ver 11.1.3.8.  It gets stuck on step 4 of 4, "waiting for changes to be applied".  Before the update, there was no problem with syncing.  Does anyone have a way to correct this issue?  I am using Windows 7.  I really haven't liked anything about iOS 7, is there anyway to go back to a previous operating system?

  • Ipod touch will not Sync with Itunes

Roomate deleted most of my music on my ipod touch and now it will not sync with itunes when I try to put the music back on.

    - First try resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - have you tried a different cable/USP port?
    - Assuming a PC look here:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
    - you may have to place your iPod in recovery mode to get iTunes to see the iPod.  For recovery mode see:

  • Ipod Touch will not sync with Itunes 12.1.1.4 64 bit

I have recently updated itunes and on the back of doing so my Ipod touch will not sync my library. The Ipod itself is a couple of years old but using iOS 6.1.6.
I have deleted and re-installed Itunes. I have wiped my Ipod to start again. I have set it to sync over Wi-fi and nothing has worked. I physically plug the Ipod in and it gets detected. If I change a setting and click apply it briefly says syncing and then nothing.
I have set automatically download Itunes songs etc etc etc and absolutely nothing seems to get it to sync!
    Help!

You said " If I change a setting and click apply it briefly says syncing and then nothing.".
How many steps are completed? What is listed in the status bar of iTunes when it stops?
