IPod Touch 4gen - connected to car - how to view video on iPod but audio through car?

I'll be taking a roadtrip and have loaded up my iPod with movies/tv shows, etc. When I plug my iPod into either of our two car's USB ports and play a video, the audio comes through the car's speakers perfectly, but my iPod thinks it is connected to a TV and will only display:
(TV Connected - This video is playing on the TV)
I would like to be able to keep the video displaying on the iPod and have the audio coming through the car's speakers. Is this possible?
(No, the driver will not be watching the iPod while driving; also the car we're taking does not have bluetooth or a 3.5mm input.) Thanks!

Use an FM tramsmitter to tramsmit sound to the car's FM radio. Here is one.

I'm a little confused here as to what you're looking for. Are you simply trying to get Internet Connectivity to the computer using the best method possible or are you looking to try and send a signal to the TV without a cable connection going to it? The computer's Internet portion is easy if that is the case. If we can just get some additional information on that, we'll figure out how to approach it.
1: Does this Workroom have any Coaxial cabling going to it that can be connected back to the cabling the FiOS equipment is using?
2: Is Ethernet cabling available and running to the location of the router, or nearby?
3: Would Wireless work for you (as much as it is not ideal)?
4: Are you looking for a Physical connection to the network?
Now if what you're trying to accomplish is the actual connection between the Computer and the TV, check to see what inputs the TV supports (HDMI, VGA, DVI, Component, Composite) and see what the laptop supports (DisplayPort, VGA, HDMI, DVI). More than likely the Laptop would have a VGA connection along with the TV. Your best bet would be to honestly just connect a VGA Cable between the two machines, and then for audio, just use a 3.5" to Composite connection for the TV (Unless the TV has a 3.5" Input jack for the PC Input). If HDMI is available on both devices, by all means use that. Same with DVI as both give better picture quality over a VGA Cable.
If you can give us exact model numbers, that would help.

If you use an HDMI cable, the audiostream will be integrated, so there will be sound when using an HDMI cable!
Not necessarily. That only works as stated if you have one of the most recent MBP's that has a built-in HDMI port.
If the MBP only has a Thunderbolt or miniDisplayPort, you need an appropriate adapter cable and even if you use an HDMI adapter or cable to connect to your HDTV there is no guarantee it will carry audio. You have to determine if your specific MBP model supports audio out through its miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output, and whether the adapter does likewise.

How to view video Exif data in Bridge

I cannot view video Exif (i.e., camera settings) data in Bridge. I can see it for still images. I shoot video in both MOV and MTS, but can see it for neither. How do I view it?

It would be even more helpful for me to see the video details, so I can better learn from my practicing. I can view some video file data in my camera after shooting: f-stop, white balance method, compression method, aspect ratio, and frame rate. So, this data is being captured and stored on my memory card. After downloading to Bridge, I'd like to be able to view this same info there. Is this possible?

My new ipod touch not connected to internet - How do I do?

Yesterday, I bought a new 8Gb ipod touch but after I put in details & asking to pay for internet vis card detail, My card go temporarily declined (got sorted out wiht my bank today) but I cannot go back to card details.
I tried everything to get it connected and I don't know how to get it connected. I tried to get help from Apple support site but cannot get any help from them!
I have in mind to get it back as very useless - I am very angry and disappointed not to get any internet on my new ipod. I want my money back!!!!

I do not understand about having to pay for internet. The iPod has no native internet. To connect to the internet it needs a wifi hotspot/router. Are you trying to connect to a wifi hotspot that chargers money and requires a credit card? If so then you need to talk to the providers. If that is not it then provide more information.

I went to a concert and it was in my purse then it rained, so i think it was water damaged so i put it in rice. When i plug it into my doc. station it plays music, and i can take screen shots from it. I can plug it into itunes and it will sync and knows it there. The screen remains black though. to view stored videos on the iPod or iPad. When I say 'easy'
I consider it easy, you may not find it 'easy'.
The most low tech way is to create a symbolic link from the video file
to the /Library/WebServer/Documents/ directory.
example:
open a terminal window.
create a symbolic link from the video file on the iMac to the /Library/WebServer/Documents/
sudo ln -s <iTunes Library Directory>/TV Shows/<TV Show Name>/<TV Season>/<TV Episode> video-link-01
To view the video on either an iPod, iPad, or another computer in Safari
you would enter the following:

The video will be shown by QuickTime plugin in Safari...
I have written a perl script which I use to create the necessary html files
to view all the TV Shows that I have stored on my iMac. You could also
create these using a text editor like vim or textedit.
The index.html lists the TV Shows in alphabetical order.
For each TV Show there is a corresponding html file which list the seasons.

I am working on coming up with a way to play an entire musical album and playlist.
Right now it is single songs only which tends to limit its usefulness.
For videos it does work extremely well. Even though I have a 64GB iPad, a 64GB iPod touch, a 32GB iPod touch, a 32GB iPod touch( 1st generation), and an 16GB iPod nano I do not have to sync a video to them in order to be able to view the video.
I am able to sit in my favorite Caribou Coffee Shop and watch the latest TV shows I have purchased on iTunes
over the wifi network.
Suggestions are to use the Standard Definition file and not the High Definition file.
I personally cannot tell the difference between the Standard Definition file and the High Definition file
on the iPods or the iPad.

You can't. First you have to unzip or unrar the file to get to the video file. There are a lot of freeware that you can use to do this. Use google to search for this applications. Me, I'm using Stuffit.

How are you printing the document? If you're printing from the design screen or doing a screenshot, all the fields will show up.

this may not help, but try upgrading Mac OSX to 10.4 (Tiger), it gives smoother integration with Windows systems.
It could also be a firewall problem.
