i waited for todays conference because i wanted to know if an ipod 6 will be realases, but n the conference they didn´t say anything
Hey Hectormonte, No one here can truly answer your query. An old statement that can answer this is "If it makes no sense... Follow the money." This wouldn't be the first time Apple quietly let a model fade away. You would think Apple would update the iPod touch, but sales for it have been reported as being down, where sales for the iPhone and iPads are up. iOS 8 better supports iPhones and iPads. Without more information from Apple this is all I came say, anything more would be speculation, and you cannot do that in the forums. I would not now buy an iPod 5, it's tech is 2+ years old and the A5 chip is struggling with iOS 8+. If your looking for the latest and greatest, I guess your looking at the iPhone or one of the newer iPads. Hope this helps, Cheers.

I have an IPod Touch 5 Generation that I bought about a year ago. I recently found out that Apple made a newer model of it with a REAR CAMERA. I don't have that with my'n. Is it possible to exchange my old one for a newer one for a cheaper one. I know that T-Mobile does give an option to trade in a old Phone for a newer one for about 30-50 dollars more. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING IF APPLE DID THAT! Please reply back quickly because I'm really eager to trade it in anytime now. I really need the Rear Facing Camera, It would make my IPod Touch PERFECT.
The 5th gen iPod touch is the latest model.
The rear camera is simply on the model with more memory.
No you cannot trade it in. Apple will give you a 10% discount on a new iPod if your bring in an old for recycling. -
hi how do I have 2 different libaries in ITunes for 2 ipod touches when we open i tunes it will show either Jessica - Ipod or Paul i-pod depending on which one is plugged in but the libary only shows songs from Paul which is the most recent bought on the 28.7.11 . Even when Jessica is plugged in the deivce says Jessica but only Paul's libary shows up !
I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.

FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

Did you try to reset your device by pressing the sleep and home button for about 10 sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose any data doing a reset.

Downloaded new songs to my ipod touch but deleted ALL the old ones. Help!
I just bought new songs, and i clicked sync to ipod, but when it was done syncing only the new songs remained on the ipod and my itunes account and the old ones got deleted. How can I get my old songs back onto my itunes account?

Moving a group of photos-leaves the last one
Not always, but most of time, if I select a group of photos in a folder, then drag and drop them into another folder, it will move all but the last one.
Window pops up saying "There was an error copying files to the destination you selected. The following files could not be copies:"
It will list the last one in the string of files selected.
So then I just move it anyway by itself and it works fine.
1-It doesn't do it every time.
2-Whether I use Drag and Drop or right click the folder and select "Move Selected Photos to this folder" makes no difference.

my ipod touch will not sync to itunes when i plug it in to my pc it is recognising the camera wizard but not showing up in itunes i have tried de installing and re installing but to no avail it is a replacement ipod but the last one was ok with syncing on the same usb connections can anyone help me out please

I had an old ipod touch. I got a new one. I still have all of the music and apps on my itunes but I cannot sync it to my new ipod.
Are you sure you have iTunes set up to synch to your new iPod? The reason I ask is that by default, iTunes will not automatically synch to a new device. You have to go to the Apps tab and click Synch Apps, and do the same for Music, PodCasts, and so on....

1. The library will remain as is. Back it up anyway.
2. Authorize that computer individually before connecting the iPod touch to it.

As it should have been transferred to your computer when you synced, you can contact itunes support and ask for an exception.

I have a new computer. I've installed iTunes. I don't want to lose the calendar and contact data nor the apps currently on my iPod Touch. Will that happen when I sync?
I don't think so. When you open iTunes, go to "Store" on the top and click "Authorize this Computer." Type in your email and pass, and click authorize. Then, when you connect you iPod for the first time, it should tell you "this iPod is synced with another computer, blah blah." It should give you the option to either "Erase and Sync," or "Transfer Purchases." Click "Transfer Purchases and your content should go into your new iTunes.
If this doesn't work and you still have your old computer there's another thing you can do. I know this works on windows, but I'm not sure how to do it on a Mac, maybe someone can offer some help. Assuming you have Windows, go to Start>Music>iTunes Media and you should see Music, Apps, Movies, etc. This is all the stuff in your iTunes. If you have an external hard drive or your iTunes library is small in terms of file size, you can do this in one go. Transfer the content (as much as you can fit at one time) onto the external storage. Then, put that content on your new computer on the desktop or somewhere where you can find it again. Open iTunes, and folder by folder highlight everything in the folder and drag it into the iTunes library. It should say "importing (content)" or something and then it should be in your library. If you look in your Music folder again, there should now be another "iTunes" folder there with all of your content back in it.
