IPod Touch 5G Screen Problem
After a week of use on my new iPod Touch 5G, I've noticed a serious problem. In the App Store for example, I would press the Top Charts and my iPod will go to my Updates o.o... and if I touch the Featured, it would go somewhere else like Genius or Search, somewhere COMPLETELY off where my finger touched. In Safari, I would just simply hold my finger down on the screen without moving, and the screen will jerk up and down. I would swipe up, but either it registers it as a swipe down or it won't move at all. Its very random. Affects apps and games. Strangest thing is, I would touch the middle of my screen once in Safari, and it would go to middle buttom with the box and arrow. Then, it will activate Twitter or Mail, even though I haven't touched the screen and the iPod "thinks" I HAVE touched the Twitter or something else. Bottom line is, my new iPod's screen is faulty and buggy, even sometimes when I am not touching the screen at all. Help please?
Should I send it back to the Apple retail store where I bought it from and demand a new one or a repair?

IPod Touch green screen problem
Dear Apple,
I'm a fanatic Apple user, and I'm still very much in love with my ipod touch. However, recently after the battery dropped to zero, my ipod touch has been sporting a green screen ever since. This means, it works and I can still see the icons / menu etc but all the black on the screen has been replaced by green, and colors have been replaced by purple.
How can I fix this? Does this have to do with battery? I tried reset and everything, to no avail. Please assist.

BBut, do you have a local Apple Store? Why would you lose it for over a month? I had a head crash on my PowerBook G4. They could not repair at the store. They sent it in to have the HD replaced. I got it back in less than a week.

my ipod touch camera screen is upside down and as well as apps. portrait lock is not on. I've tried restoring it, backing it up, resetting the settings, and the placing it on a table and thumping the back....i dont have a warranty any more so i cant just take it back and get a new one. is there any ideas that will actually work or is there any way i can buy a warranty for my ipod touch? least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Did you purchase your iPod Touch second hand or direclty from the Apple Store? I would recommend that you go back to the Apple Store and show them both devices in action so that they can advise you closely. -
My IPod touch 4g screen is FROZEN turned white , with green , white & yellow lines .

While installing an update for my IPod touch 4g ( that I`ve had for around over a year )
and turned it off while it was " updating " . I turned it on a while after ,

Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My ipod touch's screen partly frozen?
My ipod touch's screen only works in the top left corner where I've got the accessibility helper button (my home button only works with a lot of pressure). I am unable to turn it off, and I haven't got my ipod charger right now- it also wouldn't help at the moment -Should I wait for my ipod to die so It will turn off and recharge it later? Or what do you guys think would help? Also, the touch screen always works, until now. ^The accessibility button menu is open but half-off of the screen, yet It's the only part of the screen that is touch-able. Help please~

Try this program for placing the iPod in Recovery Mode since you Home button does not work.

I was just curious about whether or not I had to calibrate the Ipod touch 4g screen? If so how could i do that?
And there should be no need to. If you're having problems with your screen, that would be an indication of software or hardware fault.

IPod Touch 4g, screen shaking when I'm scrolling?
Hi someone please help me! When I try to scroll slowly on my iPod Touch, my screen shakes like crazy and sometimes hits other things on the page I don't want to go to. The weird thing is, is that it goes away and then comes back :/ this is affecting my other apps too. What should I do? i don't have any apple stores near me either. Please help and thanks!

Hello I have a problem with my ipod touch 1G the problem is that see me key to the floor! And when recogi not prendia after 5 minutes prendio but it gave to me the surprise of which the battery had finished completely! What I did was to set it to load with the USB but do not load the battery me the icon of the battery appear and below of her the beam that indicates that this being loaded but this way I have left it the whole yesterday and what goes of today and continues without loading anything! They can help me porfavor I am grateful for them to him very much! And my PC does not detect it not itunes
