IPod touch 5g stuck pixel

Hi, I just got my iPod about a month ago and I have just spotted a stuck pixel (only viewable in with a black back ground It's small, green)
The problem is my mom says she's not going all the way to the store to swap it or something like that I all ready sent it in to apple and they rejected it saying it meets there standards and I even include images and I also rubbing the display hard and try those dead pixel testers things on YouTube did nothing. nothing works!! so my question is should I keep using it like I didn't even know it was there?

That's what I thought so thank you I took your advice and I'm gonna keep it only one pixel and may be during just regular use it will go away the guy at apple care call center said its only one so.... Yah

I just recently received the new iPod touch from the online apple store and found over 9 stuck pixels scattered around the screen. They are noticeable especially on a dark screen and I was wondering if I would be able to go to an apple store and get a replacement. I also got it engraved so would this prevent me from getting a replacement?

You can take it to any store and they will replace it with no problem. Usually they give you a stock iPod off the shelf, but if you want to keep the engraving, request it, and they will give you a call when the iPod gets to the store.
It's unfortunate that they cant engrave in store so that people who order online won't have to go to a store, but it occurs from time to time.

Try switching it back from landscape to vertical. Or, go to settings and see if you have any special setting turned on that enable only landscape view. Also, try hooking it up to your computer and charging it to see what happens.

If you go to the Now Playing screen, the Repeat control is the the arrowed racetrack icon on the left side right below the scrubber bar. Tap the icon to change. It is white when Repeat is off.

Since you are running iOS 5 you can always turn on Assistive Touch as well, which adds a Home button to the iPod's actual touch screen. Head to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Assistive Touch to turn it on.

ok - my ipod touch is stuck on the itunes screen. Have tried shutting it off, plugging it into my windows computer, and it does recognize that it's there. it goes to restore mode, then immediately goes to restore and update. then back to restore mode, then an error message. don't know where to go from here, any suggestions?
