IPod Touch Accessories - Case Search

I'm after a specific iPod Touch 2G/3G Case
It follows the similar concept as to the "Belkin Leather Folio for iPod touch (2nd Gen.)" found in the Apple Store.

Is there any other cases that follow this type of design?
I'm after a 'Folio' case that is more study and sustainable and more thin than the Belkin Leather design.
It would be great if it had a pocket or clip at the the front (cover/flap) of the case allowing the headphones to be placed with convenience.
And also the front/cover/flap of the case having the ability to swivel from 90 to 180 degrees making it act like a landscape ipod stand.
Summary:
- Folio/Wallet Design
- Thin and Sturdy
- Front/Cover/Flat contains pocket for headphones
- Front/Cover/Flat can swivel from 90 to 180 acting as a stand.

Ipod touch 16gb cases?

Why hasn't apple made any 16gb ipod touch 5g cases?? Regular cases would have two holes for nothing and they would cover up the Mic. Where could I purchase one? Any company that makes a case for that specific design?

Otherwise you will just have to Google and then look carefully at the descriptions. If they say one works for all 5Gs then it is not made for the 16GB one except it may have two cutout for the mic. One for the 16 GB location and another for the other 5Gs.

I currently have an ipod touch 4g, bought in around september of 2011, and i was wondering if i could get a case for it, but most stores offer 5g cases instead of 4g cases, because of the ipod touch 5g.

There are no hardware differences, just color and price, at least as far as anyone has been able to determine, so any existing case for the 4th-generation iPod touch (the just-announced unit still being 4th-generation, really) should be fine.

Having a hard time getting a iPod touch 4g case off

I can not get this case off my Ipod touch 4g: Griffin Outfit Ice Case for iPod touch (4th Gen.) I can get the top part off if I pull extremely hard but the bottom part does not even seem to move. Any ideas how to get the bottom part off. Could cleaning the edges off it help?

I could not get the case off of mine either. I ended up slipping (very carefully) a butter knife under the back to release the seal. Before I put it back on I rubbedva thin film of mineral oil on the inside of the case and haven't had a problem since. I still have to pull hard to get it out but it doesn't stick as it did before. Hope this helps.

I have just bought a 1st generation Ipod touch, can I use my Ipod shuffle accessories for this or do I need to buy ipod touch accessories?

The headphones will work with the iPod Touch. For charging and syncing yo will have to purchase a cable for the iPod Touch since one end of the cable has to have a 30-pin dock connector. The Shuffle uses a different connecotr.

I found one, but I will not be purchasing it because my parents bought me a Speck Candshell (black) for my iPod. The Candyshell is also a very good, quality case. Its protective yet slim and looks good with the Product (Red) version of my iPod.

I'm planning on buying this and I have a few cases that I love. I see that the size is 0.01 bigger. Will that make a big difference or will I be able to still use them?

Ipod Touch Accessories - Docks etc

I am thinking of getting an Ipod Touch 32gb. I currently own a 5th Gen Ipod.
At home I have 3 docs one connected to my ONKYO stereo, a Logic 3 which I take with me when I travel and an Ibass in my bedroom.
When I tried to connect a friends Iphone to the Logic3 it came up with an error saying that the accessory was not compatible.
Is this just a trait of the Iphone or will all my docks be obsolete if I now buy a touch

I recently purchased a current Apple Universal Dock and found that the remote didn't work as advertised with my touch when I tried to view photos. You can only use the play button on the remote. You cannot pause, go back, or forward. You cannot advance or select photos you want to display using the remote. This is a problem if you transfer presentations or go back and forth when looking at a photo album on to your touch. I went to a store and witnessed that this glitch is the case with all new ipods when viewing photos. The salesperson there was not aware of the problem and said that Apple with figure it out and probably issue a software update.

I bought a white iPod touch and a case for the 4th gen iPod touch at the Apple Store thinking it would fit because it is really a 4th gen right? I never had a 4th gen (had 3rd gen) so I'm not sure if it's new but is the power button moved down or something along the back for 4th gen? The case I bought doesn't seem to manage to get this button and it's annoying. :/

Are you sure there are actual differences between this year's and last year's 4g iPod? Maybe the case you go is not really right. The following lists the dimension of the iDevices so that manufacturers can design cases. It only has one drawing for the 4G iPod. It does include a drawing for the iPhone 4s.

IPod Touch crashes on search

Hi,
My new 32GB iPod Touch 3G now crashes all the time while typing letters in Search. This has happened to me before and I had to go into recovery mode, do a reinstall of the OS, and then restore from a day before the problem started to occur. This time it started happening again after installing a few more Apps. Is there a limit to the number of Apps that can be installed before search runs out of memory and causes a crash? Are there Apps that can cause a Search crash? I have about 16GB used. There are 554 Apps taking up about 3.75GB. I see that this problem has been brought up by others. It would be nice if the problem could be addressed in the next OS point release. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got the same problem. (itouch3rdgen). Seems I can type into safari and anywhere else, and also play games just fine, but as soon as I start typing letters in search it will crash/reboot and stay with the apple logo for a few minutes before going to sleep. when i wake it up again, its back to 'normal' until i search again and it happens all over again. it seems like when it starts searching it crashes, since i can use the space bar in that screen and it doesn't complain.
The only thing i did last night was sync laptop/itouch after changing the applications around in itues. so it deleted the extra 6 or so pages of apps i had created using the little cheat method. which is fine, since the upcoming folders will solve that whole workaround.
I'm going to try to restore things, hopefully i can do it on my work pc here...

My Ipod Touch will only search for available Wifi networks for a second then stop, and it will never find any networks anywhere.

OK I own the 1st generation Ipod touch and granted I bought it used and its pretty old, but the Wifi doesnt work at all. When I click on the checkmark box it turns on and it looks like its trying to find a connection, but it only tries for one second (literally) and then stops trying to look for a connection. It wont bring up any connection to choose from no matter where I go, it wont find one connection. Please help me this thing is driving me insane. I was told it could be a bad IP address, and that there is a way to get a new one. But How? I already reset it and restored it and nothing seems to fix it. So now I dont know what to do with it now.

So you also rebooted your router correct? Does the iPod still connect okay to other networks?

Yesterday I uptated my iPod Touch. And I found that my iPod Touch could not find any wi-fi signs!!! What should I do in this moment?

Seems like the other networks are blocking you from sending emails.
Do yo have more that one email account on the iPod?
Have you tried sending from another account?

How do i find my ipod touch's case number?

i can't remember the answers to my accounts security questions, so i called Apple's UK number and it asked me for my case number but i don't know what this is. i have read that you can find this number in the confirmation email that you recieve from apple, but i no longer have this so i don't know where else i could try.
