Clearing the You Tube history does not remove the files found in "More", "+ Most Recent".
How can I clear this list?

Easy solution when on itunes simply go to the music tab and press on music library then browse what file which contains the music you want to be added same with photos

IPod Touch and YouTube on a TV
I have the connection cables for the iPod to watch videos on TV, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if you can watch YouTube via your iPod Touch on TV. I've tried it, but it didn't seem to work. Wondering if anyone has got it to work.

I have used my iPod Touch watching youtube through my TV and it works extremely well. I use the Apple Composite AV Cable found at http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB129ZA/A?fnode=home/shopipod/ipod_accessories/cablesdocks&mco=MTM1MTU. You might need to change the channel on your TV, as if it's like mine it won't change automatically. Hope this finds you well! -

I lost my ipod touch but I did recently download the cloud to help me find it. How can I track it if I have nothing?
For whatever reason the device box only shows the IPAD. I have my other IPOD hear but the system doesn't try to locate it. Could this mean I don't have the CLOUD on my IPODS like I thought? My IPOD is turned on but it's not in that box. I know I updated all 3 in February because I can see it when I go edit, preferences and device. Sorry to be a bother I just don't understand.

IPod Touch Clearing before selling ???

I want to sell my iPod Touch (old revision) to my uncle (he really wants a Touch !) and I was wondering how to clear everything on the iPod (Songs, Videos, Podcasts and Address Book).
I guess it is possible through "Settings" and then "Clear Settings and Content", but I wonder if it also clears the address book and the Apps...
I want to give my uncle an iPod Touch looking like a "brand new one", without any "name" (my iPod is called "Fabrice's iPod" in iTunes).
The firmware has been upgraded to rev 2.1 (I bought the upgrade on iTunes Store); I hope it will stay with this revision.

Fabrice.Restore it through iTunes. After it puts everything back to factory settings and it states it is going to put all the backup info back onto the iPod and it will state that the iPod icon will be in the menu again when it is completed, disconnect it. When you turn it on, it will have the "connect to iTunes" icon that it comes with when brand new out of the box. Make sure you don't disconnect it too early before it puts the software and firmware back onto the iPod. Even if you do make that mistake, it's fool proof. When you try to connect it to iTunes again, it will tell you that it detects an iPod in recovery mode and that you will have to continue the process before it works. It should retain the most recent version because it will detect by the serial number that the iPod has had the latest version purchased.

I would like to transfer the apps and music from my computer to a new iPod touch that was previously owned by my brother. My previous iPod is lost or stolen. I also need to update it to 6.1, the highest allowable upgrade, which allows at least some of the older versions of some apps to work (such as Facebook, youtube). I have only figured out how to update it to 4.2. They say I can't have help over the phone unless I pay $29, although they have helped me in the past in a similar situation. Thanks. John
Upgrading it depends on what model it is:
See the chart below to determine whether you can upgrade your device and what you can upgrade to. If you do not have a Software Update option present on your iDevice, then you are trying to upgrade to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to connect your device to your computer and open iTunes in order to upgrade.

I have an iPod Touch, 8gb in size. The screen is broken and it mostly has to be plugged into a dock to work.
My question is does anyone know of a trade-in program, or, some way I can sell this iPod? Is there a trade-in program, or something I can utilize to get some cash back or some credit out if this iPod? Or, should I call it a day and just trash it at this point - and admit all is lost?!

I choose "tools" "clear recent history..." and set t"time range to clear to: Everything" in mozilla's browser. I selected "cookies" and clicked on 'download and browsing history,' to delete. I left the other boxes unchecked. Should I have clicked the other boxes to delete all cookies? Would that have caused me any problems, or just what is the consequences in doing so? I'm not really familiar with cookies, except for I do not want others passing my info. on to others or for them to keep tract of everywhere I go on the Internet.

Unable to sync ipod touch to itunes after recent update
after pluging in my ipod to charge confirmed a update available from i tunes came back to computer 15 mins later error in update and ipod not synced sayin on ipod to connect to itunes but computer cannot find driver software.

Windows Vista or Windows 7
Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Click the Windows Start button .
In the Start Search field type Services.
In the Programs section of the search results, Click "Services".
Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
After the service has stopped, click Start the service.
After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.

i need help i have an ipod touch that is jailbroke that i had gotten from a friend and i reset it and now when it loads it gets to the screen where the apple spins around and then it freezes

Retrieve the most recent history records from a history table
I have a table which stores movement of applications or files. There could be any number of history records for any file in this table. I can know who has a given file right now by using max(date) and the unique id field using the query below:

Just updated Ipod touch now youtube won't connect
Hi is there something special i got to do to be able to connect to youtube? I was able to before i updated and now every time i try to get on it says "Cannot connect to YouTube"

I am on a Macbook (laptop) operating with Mac OSX 10.6.8. I am using WIFI to sign on and have no trouble opening Safari yet every time I try to open firefox I get hit with the 'server can't be found error message. Oddly, all the bookmarks still work and open fine.
This is what I did to resolve this problem. First, I uninstalled Firefox 4 & removed the Firefox folder left behind. I made sure to NOT select the option to delete personal information. Next, I backed up all of the important files on my computer. Next, I upgraded my Windows 7 to Service Pack 1, which was pending in my updates folder. Then, I went to Mozilla's website & downloaded Firefox 4 again, making sure to select only the Firefox browser and not Thunderbird too. http://www.mozilla.org/ When prompted to close any open programs, I closed Internet Explorer (which I had used to get to the Mozilla website) and I disabled my Norton anti-virus. I then completed the installation & it works just fine now. It loaded all of my personal data, such as bookmarks, it remembered my password, etc. It's fine for my needs, as I'm not a heavy user of special add-ons & plug-ins. Some of those may not work yet with the new version.

ITunes won't accept iPod Touch Remote
I'm trying to use the Remote App on my iPod Touch with the most recent version of iTunes (the one that includes support for the iPad). At first it accepted my iPod Touch 2g, then wouldn't let it connect anymore. I bought a new 3rd generation, and the same thing happened: it let it connect, then all of a sudden, it won't anymore. I've checked to make sure that the box is checked under the Devices tab AND I've double checked to make sure that iTunes is listed as an exception on the Firewall.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes AND done a factory reset on the iPod. I'm at wits end! Using the iPod as a remote is a big deal for me; I'm using it in a general music room and I need it to be able to control iTunes from anyplace in the room, not to mention using it to control music for concerts.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!I like you and a lot of people (I've been ready posts here and on iTunes reviews) have been trying to get this app to work, been at it for 2 days. I just got it to work and it is still working even after turning my iTouch off then back on. It actually finds my library each time now!
I have AT&T Gateway Broadband. There was the problem. I had to change the firewall for the broadband hardware. By typing http://homeportal in your browser it opened up all the info about my Gateway. There you can change the firewall settings.
I got all of this info from the following site (because we have a OutCast speaker - that I LOVE). Anyway the last page on this link is where I got the info to change the Hardware Router firewall setting. Some of the other info may also help troubleshoot.
