Ipod touch equalizer not working with radio

My first Apple device just purchased today.  The ipod Touch 8GB Generation 4.  The first thing I did was downdoad Tunein to listen to radio.  I noticed the preloaded Apple equalizer with presets does not work.  Is this normal with radio or this app.  Does the equalizer only work with itunes music player?  Thanks

It's a bookshelf stereo system with an output channel so I have a Logitech Jukebox Internet Radio hooked up to it and it works fine but the iPod Touch ..... nada happens when I plug in the output cable to it.

    Try:

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • My 4th gen iPod Touch does not work with Ford sync since updating OS

When I updated my iPod to the new os, it does not work with my ford sync system anymore. how do I fix this?

Have lots of issues with Fords MySync and here's some info that might help....
Using ford sync interface, goto the phone section, then settings, and look if your iPhones name is listed, if so select the phone name thru sync interface and remove/delete it from the sync list, then go thru the Bluetooth pairing process again.
If that doesn't work, do the same on the iPhone, select ford sync entry in Bluetooth and remove sync or forget this device on the iPhone and then go thru Bluetooth pairing again.
If that doesn't work Power off iphone ( not sleep) hold power button till you see red slider to power off. Then restart iphone, try pairing up again.
If that doesn't work go back to MySync and goto phone settings and use the up-down slider till you see sync master reset. Confirm then go thru BT pairing again.
If that doesn't work there is a fuse for the my sync system. Fuse box is usually behind kick panel of front passenger seat side for the Mustang #3, its behind a paper black cover. Remove fuse for 5-30 secs then replace.
Lastly, make sure your MySync Firmware is the latest vers. Mines 4.0.2 goto fords MySync support page to check
    http://www.ford.com/syncmyride/
    or call 1-800-392-3673 Opt 3
A google search might help for your model and year if not a newer mustang and you couldn't get to ford.
    Good Luck

  • Why is my ipod touch 5 not working with itunes? It says it needs to update to itunes 10.7 or later.

My new ipod touch 5 is working perfectly, almost. When I plugged it in to my laptop for Itunes, the laptop said the ipod needs to update to itunes 10.7 or later. The problem is it won't let me update it. Can somebody help me?

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer to sync it. If you're using Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.6.7, run Software Update twice. If you're running Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier and have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.
If you're using Windows, what happens when you try to update it?

  • IPhone, iPod Touch will not work with Skullcandy Icon2,  Icon 2

I pulled my Skullcandy Icon 2 's out for my ski trip and found that the mic and control had stopped working with my iPhone. Thinking that the Mic/Button had broke I went out and picked up a new pair, which also didn't work.
Both sets of head phones were tried on an iPhone 3g, iPod Touch 1st Gen. and iPod Nano 3rd gen. None of which would allow control of the devices in music mode or call answer.
To rule out a defective headset, I connected them to my friend's phone, a HTC Hero. The controls on the Icon 2 would play and pause any music program, including Pandora including controlling calls, (answer, mute and hang up).
I haven't found anything other then lint in the head phone jack to as a solution to this. (not a solution for me).
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
    Hardware Info:
    Skullcandy Icon 2 Purchased 2009-2010
    Skullcandy Icon 2 Purchased 12/2/2010
    iPhone 3g Software version 4.2.1
    iPod Touch Software version 3.1.3
    iPod Nano 1.1.3

Has this worked for you in the past? I am under the impression that your units are older and do not support this functionality. See <http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3310>.

  • IPod touch is not working with iTunes

My iPod touch is no longer recognized by my iTunes even though it has been recognized without problems ever since I bought it. My computer has never crashed, had a virus or any problems at all. Because iTunes didn't recognize it, I was given the option to reset my iPod, which somehow 'timed out'...
If there are any tricks or things I need to do in order to fix this, please tell me.
Also, whenever my iPod is connected to my computer, my iTunes will always become unresponsive and I end up having to force quit it.

    Hi,
I'd suggest reinstalling the Apple Mobile Device Support & iTunes.
Go into Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Click on Apple Mobile Device Support, and click Remove
Click on iTunes, and click Remove
    Restart the computer
    Re-download and install iTunes here:

    Hope this is helpful,

  • IPod touch will not work with USB 2.0 PCI Card?

I have a dual processor PowerMac G4 that has USB 2.0 via a PCI card. When I plug in the iPod nothing at all happens. I haven't read anything about PCI cards not being compatible with the touch. Is anyone else having this problem?

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents...I've got the same problem...I've had a Keyspan USB 2.0 5 port card in my Dual MDD G4 for years and it's worked fine. Well, until a few days ago when I tried updating some stuff on our iPods. It would initially start working then lose connection. Now nothing at all with 5 iPods. It won't even show up on the desktop under Disk Mode. I did the same and it works fine under the old stock USB 1.0 but slooooooowwww. Is this yet another problem with Leopard? I've searched the Keyspan site and they don't have any updated drivers. Guess I'll look for a Belkin as well...ugh!!! Leopard is horrible! First no printer drivers, then no iSub support, now this!

  • My 4th gen ipod touch will not work in a philips or Sony docking station

I bought a philips(DC320) clock radio and my ipod touch would not work in it.  Thinking it was a problem with the connector on the radio I returned it and bought a Sony ICF-CS15ip because the store was out of the philips radio.  When I plugged my 4th gen ipod touch into that again my Ipod touch would not play through the radio but the radio would recognize and charge the ipod.  I tried my daughter's 2nd gen ipod touch in the Sony and it worked great.  So It looks like there is a problem with the my ipod.  Sony claims that the ICF-CS15ip is compatible with the 4th gen ipod touch and I have the latest IOS 5.1.1 on my ipod.  Any suggestions before I go to the Apple store?  The Ipod is only 6 months old.

You can try the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPOd.
That has worked for some users.
However, sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility. In that case yo have to wait for either Apple or the dock manufacturer to issue a firmware update.
