IPod touch G2 backlight not working replaced LCD, still not working
After water got in my iPod the backlight does not work. I tried putting it in rice for a few days but the backlight still did not work.
Then I replaced the LCD with the same result. Everything but the backlight works.
What else can I try?
Then there is a problem with the logic board or there is a bad connector/connection/screen

My ipod touch fourth generation keyboard and unlock button are not working
my ipod touch fourth generation was working at one moment and then when i went to unlock the screen and type in the passcode it would not let me swype the unlock button and when i turned it off and back on again and the passcode section popped up it would only let me type the 1, 2, and 3 buttons and now it is not letting me type at all. - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. Could be the crack progressed to the point thtt portions of the screen no longer respond to touch

The touch screen is not working when I am in the Music app of my iPod Touch. How do I get it to begin working? It just stopped today.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

iPod touch 4 gives message "Cannot Download" "there is not enough available storage to download...You can manage your storage in settings." when trying to update or install one of the apps, but not other apps. I have more space available than needed for the app. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Do I need to completely reset this device as new and, if so, how should I do that?
You need to delete some item (apps, music, photos etc) from the iPod,.However, sometime files get corrupt. To determine that connect the iPod to your computer and click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes. How much storage is used by the "other" category. If over 1 1/2 GB that indicates corrupted files.
To get the "other" down to normal value you need to restore your iPod usually restoring from backup works but sometimes restoring to factory settings.new iPod is required./ -
i got an itunes giftcard for my birthday and when i tried to add it on my balance on my ipod touch it says the code you entered is not recognized as a valid code. but i just got this card brand new for my birthday.
Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. For more information, see this support article:

I just don't get it. I got the iPod from a friend which didn't use it at all. If I connect my iPad or iPad mini to my mac, they all get connected well and iTunes sees them too. iPod touch not for some reason
The iPod touch is completely new, no missing contacts etc. It works on other macs as well. Only my iMac doesn't see the iPod Touch. Maybe I can repost this problem in The IMAC section in stead of the iPod Touch, since I think its a iMac problem from now on...

I have tried many times to restore my new IPod Touch 5G in I Tunes and it will not allow me to do it. My Ipod will not turn on at all even when on a fresh charge. Only displays the arrow leading up to ITunes logo. I have tried the method of holding the home button and on button and this does not work. Any help appreciated.

i wanted to ask whether the camera for ipod touch comparable to a digital camera? if not are there apps available that can turn it into a digital camera? i want to buy an ipod touch and i like photography....what should i do? plz suggest
The iPod touch has a very rudimentary camera. It has only a 0.6 MP resolution, no optical zoom, no flash, etc. There is no app that can improve this as it is limited by the hardware. So it is not a replacement for a digital camera (nor even for an iPhone whose camera has a 5.0 MP resolution.

BMW iPod Touch interface: some songs start mid way but not all.
Hi, I upgraded from an iPod Classic to an iPod touch 4th generration and since doing so some (not all) songs will start at various points in the song when connected to my BMW iPod interface cable, eg 3:20 into a song, then another one may start 10 secs into a song etc. Some songs start at the begininning. This never happened with the Classic.
Any ideas please ?The classic most likely it was working using and over version of the itunes software, the new iPod you have is using a newer version of the aple software, there are 2 solutions, downgrade the software on the new device
or see if there is any update for the iPod interface in your vehicle, some can be remove out of the vehicle and
plug into a computer using a usb cable -
I tried to download a movie on my iPod touch but due to limited space, it did not download. Then, I checked my credit card online, and I found the money was already taken. How will I get it to download on another device with the same account? Also, I was wondering why they took my money even when it did not finish downloading let alone get downloaded?
