IPod Touch Goes from 100% Charge to 20% within minutes
My iPod Touch is a little over two years old. It is now going from 100% battery charge to 20% within minutes of usage. However, when I plug it in to charge, the battery shows that it almost fully charged. Yet when I unplug it, it will immediately say the battery is at 20% again. Is the battery at it's end, or is this a different kind of issue causing the problem?
First try to reset your iPod and if that does not work, try restoring it to a backup and finally to factory settings. If that does not solve the problem, your battery is probably a goner. Two years is short, but not unusual; my battery failed after a little less than two years. Apple will replace your iPod with a refurbished one for $79 (USA) or you could do a Google search on "replace iPod battery" for a local or on line repair place that will replace the battery for less. You can even find a replacement battery (same search) and install it yourself if you're up to it.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Bring the cable and Apple wall charger too.

Probably dead if you have tried to charge it.
You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try. -

If you mean that your deleted the MobileMe account from the Mail...Calender Settings on the iPod then your are out of luch.

My ipod touch 4th generation isnt charging with my cable.
When i use my dad´s cable, it charges.
But, however, after it´s fully charged (which takes strangely only a minute), i use it for five seconds and then it goes off.

You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabilng the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Next, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials.
If possible, either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync. To do this, right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. i upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 and after that my ipod started having trouble charging, at first i though the lightning cable was the problem so i bought 2 more lightning cable chargers and my ipod still would'nt charge, so it died. now the only thing my ipod does is when i try to turn it on it shows the apple logo and then the screen goes off and does it again for a few times and then the screen stays off and my ipod gets really hot but wont turn on for the rest of the day help!!The hotness indicate a hardware problem.

My friend found his old ipod touch 4. He charged it up, and it says "disabled" and i cant restore it on itunes without his password which he forgot. Can I restore it without the password.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

I've just purchased it.. and it was working fine the first day, I turned it on, I held the home and power button, it turned on. Afterwards, I let it charge all night. It won't turn on anymore. I connected it to iTunes, I held the power button + home for about 30 seconds each time. When I plug it into my pc, it says that it's malfunctioned and cannot be detected..what should I do?
