IPod Touch got virus from computer?
Hi all!!
Well I got a problem again. I used to charge my iPod with a wallchager (not from apple) but for 1 week i charged it with my PC. Then i went back to my wallcharger but then my problems started. After charging sometime an error comes. "Charging is not supported with this accessory". I plug it out then back in and it charges normally again. Minutes later a fully charged indicator appears but it is not fully charged!! I have never had this problem before with my wallcharger. And its not my wallcharges problem. I tested it on my iphone and charged normally. The next day i found so many viruses on my pc. Did my ipod touch get infected?!? Thank you.
No. it did not get a virus. There are no viruses affecting ios devices.
Clean out your dock connector.

So I had an ipod touch, got a lot of my music from my old CD's that i later threw away, then got a new computer and lost all my music on my itunes, but still have it all on my itouch. I just simply want to get my music from my itouch to my computer. I now have a iphone and it would be nice to put some of that music on my phone as well.
Hope someone can help me!!!
thanks,
SophiaWhile that may work9I do not think it will) with iTunes purchased music it will not work for other music.
- Transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- For other music you will need a third-party program like one of those discussed here.

I got a new computer and backed up my iTunes library to an external hard drive. The external hard drive is not allowing me to access the drive. I no longer have access to the old computer. Is there a way to transfer the songs from my iPod touch to my new computer?
That's a bummer, didn't realize the exHD files were corrupt, esp if you have tried from another PC and not just this new computer.
You can get purchases from the itunes store transferred from an iPod using these directions:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848?viewlocale=en_US
If you want everything (meaning non-itunes songs, app data, photos, etc) you need to buy a 3rd-party ipod manager that support iTouch. Here is an iLounge article to start your research:

How do I transfer music from my ipod touch to a new computer?
Okay, so I threw out my old computer because it had a virus and it cannot be repaired. All my music was stored in it but I have it all in my ipod touch. I just got a new computer and I downloaded the itunes library but I don't know how to transfer my music from my ipod touch into a new computer. Has this happened to anybody before, if so, please share some ideas. This will help me a lot since I haven't added any songs into my ipod for almost a month now!!! =(

If your iTunes is set on manual sync, then you have to manually drag and drop. Otherwise every time yousyncyou'll get all changes even if you don't want it.
