My ipod classis just stopped working.  It is still under warranty and I need to know where the warranty information is so I can get it fixed or replaced?

If you have tried all of the suggestions mentioned under the appropriate section in this Apple support document, you may need to have your iPod serviced or replaced either by Apple or a third party service.
    iPod won't turn on
If the iPod is still under Apple's 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, Apple may swap it out for you at no cost if they don't conclude the issue to be the result of abuse or accidental damage.  If you have an Apple Store nearby schedule an appointment with them and show them what you are experiencing.

  • Since downloading iOS 8 on my iPad 2 it has stopped working and will not connect to iTunes

Since downloading iOS 8 on my iPad 2 it has stopped working and will not connect to iTunes to do a restore.  I have tried to do a reset using the sleep button and home key and all I get is a white band across the screen and then it boots into the main system but it is just a series of white lines going across the screen, how can I do a restore on this?

    Hey dbwithers,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your iPad after attempting to update to iOS 8. To isolate these issues, let’s try placing your iPad in recovery mode and attempting a restore with iTunes:

ipod touch has stopped working. the screen showes that it need to connect to power.

    Hey there our3goldens,
It sounds like you are unable to successfully boot your iPod Touch. I would recommend these steps specifically from the following article, named:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

I have a Gateway computer with windows vista. When I try to open itunes I get the message that itunes has stopped working and windows will close. When I try to open quicktime in the control panel I get the message the windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working. I can not uninstall quicktime. I have downloaded and installed itunes and quicktime many times but this does not help. Please someone help me. I am at wits end. How do other people have itunes working with windows vista?

Hey MrsBeth, it looks like your PC is on a network or something. I am uncomfortable giving advice since I don't know what's going on there.
What I am comfortable with is these directions below. Give yourself full control and ownership the the entire C: drive and all its subfolders. And temporarily turn off UAC for good measure - you can turn it back on after you've installed iTunes.
