  • Lost some of contacts after turn off then turn on

After turn off then turn it on . Some contacts r  gone ; only number r leftovers

    Hello,
Is it really an iPhone 3G with iOS 5.1? I thought it was no longer supported.
I had that occurred to me before but I restored it from an existing backup and the problem went away. If you could, you can try and upload your crash logs from ios 5+ and see what is causing the restart.
If there is nothing to lose (e.g. Data), then you can see if a full restore (e.g. Set it to factor settings)  will help. Below is a link:

I hope this helps but please feel free to wait for others to input.

  • My iPod touch 4g keeps going to lockscreen and back to the apple logo and I can't shut it off or anything

My iPod touch 4g keeps going to lock screen and back to apple logo over and over and I can't turn it off or anything

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My iPhone 5 turn off then turn on like restart.

Hello, I need some help please, some guy fix my lock button but after the fixed it, my iphone turns off then, it turns On like restart every  5 minuts or when I using it.
I call back this guy he told me that is the screen, but that's really stupid I dont think is the screen. I think is the battery, maybe this guy changed my battery.
Please can someone help me? what can I do??
I found on my diagnostic and usage data  Panic.ips Incident identifier: BFBB2519  CRC ERR!
    what that means??

I'm also experiencing this problem. Several old posts suggest cleaning the charging port, but I had no luck. This is happening on my iPhone 4S and my iPad. It could be an app issue since it's only happening for some people.

  • IPod touch 4G keeps shutting off.

When I try to slide the iPod touch open it asks for my password.  I type it in and it accepts it.  But then it brings me back to the beginnig screen and says 'slide to unlock' and then just shuts off.  It shows a low battery, but it has been charged fully.  Any help is very appreciated.

Okay...Held down power button and home button and after a few minutes presto.  working just fine!

  • HT1338 problems with Mac Book 10.7.5 printing wirelessly with HP Photosmart 6510e.  I must turn off then turn back on for Mac to print.

HP Photosmart prints with PC, Droid phone but will only print wirelessly with MacBook OX 10.7.5 if I turn off printer and turn it back on.  HP has tried, Belkin (router) has opened all ports, the problem persists.

That is great, but I recommend channel 11 instead of 10.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • Every time I launch iTunes, I have to Turn Off, then Turn On, iTunes Match

    Hi,
When I launch iTunes, while all of my Match songs are listed, I can't play any of them.  Right-clicking on a song reveals that the "Play <song name>" context menu item is grayed-out.
The only work-around I've found is to
    Turn off iTunes Match
Turn on iTunes Match, entering my Apple ID and Password again.
While this works, it is slow (it has to re-download my Match database each time), and kind of annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Same here, been hunting for a solution for months and months. Nobody ever has a solution not even apple.

  • My I phones voice control pops up when I'm listening to music. This happens often. I turn off then turn on my phone until it eventually happens again. Anyone know why this happens?

My iphone goes into voice control without me asking. This happens when I'm listening to music. I do turn off my phone and turn it back on but eventually it happens again. What is causing the problem?

Yes, your iPhone has the classic signs of early onset Alzheimer's...
Assuming that nothing is pressing on the Home button when this occurs, try the basic steps as needed:
    1. Reset phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears.
    2. Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
    3. Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup.
If #3 doesn't help, there is a hardware problem such as a defective home button, and you should make an appt. with an Apple Store Genius bar.

  • Ipod touch screen went black and then started flashing. Then the turn off slide comes up.

Ipod touch screen went black and then started flashing. Then the turn off slide comes up. Restored multiple times and didn't work. Ipod works with Itunes fine (can put music and podcasts on the ipod), but can't take songs off of the ipod. Using windows xp and everything is up to date. Any ideas of how to fix it?

I didn't know that it was posted three times. My computer didn't say that it posted anything.
My ipod still syncs to itunes and I can put podcasts and music on my ipod, but I can't delete songs after I put them on the ipod. When I try to delete songs I try to delete it from the main music list on the ipod. It's also doing all the other stuff that I posted before. The screen will go black and then the power off slider thing shows up for a few seconds, then it'll show the unlock slider bar. Then goes black again. It will also do that when I have the ipod unocked and changing songs or playing a game. I've restored it to the factory default/new ipod and it still does the same thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and then restored it again to the factory default and it's still doing the same exact thing. I checked and my computer is up to date.

  • HT201210 My iPod starts to turn on , then it will go white then turn off, then on and repeat.. If I do these steps, will it help ?

    Just questioning this.
It says to update software , so I do but once it finishes updating it turns black and turns on with the picture saying I must connect to iTunes.. I tried doing that but for some reason iTunes kept popping up saying that it was in recovery mode and I need to fix it.. so I clicked the button saying restore and 2 times it said it couldn't do it. but the third time it did and once it updated my iPod screen went completely black.. then it turned on as if it was starting up, and it stayed like that for about 5 minutes.. then the screen would flash, turn off, then start up again. It keeps repeating this until my batttery is flat and by that time it tells me to plug it in to a power source. I plug it into the power source hoping it would fix it but it doesn't...once its recharged it starts up the whole, coming on , screen going white, then turning off again and so on. I only just bought my iPod 2 weeks ago so I don't know whats wrong... HELP?
    Cheers,
    Chelsea
