I get an error message saying I can't sync my iPod touch 4th generation, but when I do the diagnostic test, it says it passes and is working properly? The place I see it is in the playlists...like they won't transfer from my computer to the iPod...Recently Added, Recently Played...

I tried everything suggested by the link you provided and it did not work. I had been purchasing music directly from my iPOD for over a year. I decided to start using my iTunes account and the first time I tried to sync I was prompted to "erase content and sync". What happened was that the music was deleted from my iPOD and then it has never successfully sync'ed with iTunes.

I had previously purchased Lion from the App store for my iMac. Today I went back to the App Store to download Lion onto my MacBook which is running Leopard 10.6.8. At the end of the download I received an error message. So I restarted my computer and went back to the App store to try again. Now Lion doesn't show up in my purchases for download. I can't find Lion on my computer either. What can I do?

No, I don't. Called Apple and they did some trouble shooting. Turns out I had hidden my Lion purchase in the App Store by inadvertently clicking on the "x" beside the download/resume button. Once unhidden, I was able to download and install.

I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I am having the same issue. I just had the battery replaced at a third party store. The battery powers the ipod up but it needs to be restored. It is saying it isn't eligible for rebuild. The later iOSs requires at least OSX 10.5.8 for the Mac. You need iTunes 10.5 but 10.4.11 only goes to 9.x.. 10.5.8 is a paid upgrade.
Are you sure that you have a 3G iPod? If it is 8 or 16 GB it is a 2G and those can only go to 4.2.1 (also requires 10.5.8 or later). A 32 GB can be either 2G or 3G. To identify yours:

Go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage. Let all of the apps load in the window. You can see how much storage you have used and how much you have left. You will need about twice the size of the download of free storage in order to be able to download the movie. Also, the iOS will not let you use every bit of available storage on the device.
You can delete content in there if needed, but if you sync with iTunes it's a good idea to transfer purchased into iTunes and backup your iPad before you delete content. If you use iCloud only, backup with iCloud before you delete any content.
