Ipod touch software crash help please fast fast

my 3 weeks old ipod touch got hung
i swtiched the ipod open but there instead of the apple logo appereared some codes and set of programming statements and then it is not working and just stuck there.
what should i do please tell me and help fast
the screen appears almost like a boot screen of the computer

I have an ipod Touch 32 MB that is only a few weeks old. I'm running the V2.2 update. I had a fair number of apps on the unit - some paid, most free. After loading three new free apps (without rebooting each time), and later synching some new MP3 music, I found I had the same problem as others above - ALL third-party apps start up then exit. Factory functions are fine, music player, etc. work fine.
I tried deleting the last three apps and rebooting, but still ALL apps just startup and exit immediately. I will try the suggestion of adding a new free app, and then deleting and reinstalling ALL 26 apps. I do not want to do a restore at this point, as there's a couple of gigs of stuff on this 32 GB touch.
Hoping a new update may provide a fix.

My iPod touch keeps crashing. Apps, Camera, settings. Everything. It just started after I installed the last update. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Restarts are not helping.

Try restoring the iPod, first using a backup and if that doesn't help then as a new device.

2nd Gen IPod Touch - Software crash using Krusell Music Multi Adapt Case

When using my new 2nd gen iPod Touch with my old Krusell Music Case. When I close the case the software of my iPod crashes and the only way I can restart is to do a hard reset. It was Ok with my 1st gen iPod Touch.
Is it possible that the magnets that are used for keeping the lid closed are effecting the electronics somehow? Do I have a problem with the iPod?
Comments would be gratly appreciated.

I doubt if it is the magnets but it is more likely that case is pushing on the Sleep/Wake button. I don't believe the gen 1 and gen 2 iPods are the same size.
You can test the magnet theory by turning your iPod on and moving the magnets over the device.

Disable or turn off all firewall and anti-virus software and try the download again.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Itunes on my Macbook (circa 2008) won't recognize newest ipod touch softwar

I have a macbook from April of 2008 which has the latest version of itunes 10.10.01. I have apps that i've purchased from the itunes store (including a $20 german-english translator that i DESPERATELY need for class). I recently restored my ipod to factory settings because I was experiencing issues with it charging properly.
Now i've had the german app for over a year before the restore and it worked just fine. But now my computer and itunes keeps telling me that the app needs the latest version of ipod touch software in order to sync the app. When I click "check for updates" on the ipod screen it claims that my ipod touch software is up to date - but lists it as 2.2.1!!
I know that the lastest version of ipod software is MUCH later than 2.2.1 but I can't seem to convince my itunes of this. Someone help me out please! I've done everything I can think of but my itunes is up to date and i NEED the app.

If iTunes says that 2.2.1 is the latest software for your ipod, this may imply that iTunes recognizes your ipod as 1st generation ipod. See also this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2052 and try if you can update to iOS3.1

Why does my ipod touch 4g crash when I play certain games? Is there a way to fix it?

I have an Ipod Touch software version 1.1.3 and Itunes 7.6.0.29. Every time I connect my Ipod Itunes is supposed to automatically connect and begin synchronizing with my computer. However I am being sold some new upgrade of software for my Ipod because I didn't pay enough money for it, evidently to get free software upgrades. When I click the button that says "No Thanks" I get an error message from the Itunes Store that says it can't process my request. I get it each and every time I connect my Ipod. It sure seems like I am being force fed that software. What part of NO doesn't the Itunes store understand? Really guys it sure feels like I am being harassed to buy this thing and i don't want it. What is the fix? I have already reinstalled the Ipod software and that didn't work.

I got my ipod touch a little under a year ago, and soon after getting it i noticed that the music would randomly stop and go to the homepage. It wasn't that bad because the music would always come back up, and it didn't happen that often. But then it started getting more and more often. Recently it started taking two or three times to get music to open, and now it crashed last night, and even after two hours of nothing but trying to open it, it still wont open. I'm getting a new ipod soon, but i wanted to know if there was any quick fix.
