IPod Touch speaker works only on lock screen....!
When i unlock my iPod it make that regular sound and I try to play a song quick, I hear static and the sound goes of. It only works with the lock screen.
When I use earphones it works perfectly.
What can I do??
It sounds like a problem with your external speaker, especially if you hear static. You might want to take it in to the Apple Store to have it looked at.

Hello my ipod touch stays blinking of de lock screen to the apple logo
Hello my ipod touch stays blinking of de lock screen to the apple logo i try the hard reset and came off when start again makes the same blink of the lock screen to the apple logo
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

IPod Touch Not Working Properly After Front Screen and Housing Replacement
So my son left his iPod Touch 4th Gen on my back bumper and it fell off out in our dirt/gravel driveway. I finally found it, 7 days later, run over multiple times. Front screen and back housing were demolished as you can see, but it still worked fine (except rear facing camera was done). Ordered the rear camera, front screen and back housing assemblies off eBay from reputable sellers. Took it all apart and reassembled it. Bada bing! Everything was working fine: camera, speakers, touch screen, wi-fi, all of it, for about 2 days . It went from working perfectly, to being kinda glitchy (had to hold home and power to restart), to not turning on at all. I read somewhere that if you don't clean all metal to metal contacts, it may interfere and not work properly, so I just took it (almost) all apart again, cleaned the contacts, and it turned on and was working, but this time only for about half an hour. I've held down the home and power buttons for long periods of time, which sometimes got it to work, but now is not working at all. Any ideas on what might be going on??? Is the screen bad? Did I maybe miss a metal to metal contact (e.g. the power button, ribbon cable)? Any really important ones that you can tell me about? I really don't want to take it into the Apple store, but if I do, any ideas on a ruff guesstimate on what it's gonna cost me? Thanks for any help! I really appreciate it, I'd love to get this thing working for my 7 year old so I can have my d*** phone back!

HT1212 ipod touch 3rd generation device disabled lock screen
ive tried all the suggestions and correctly followed all instructions that are posted here but nothing has worked! besides the "cannot sync because of password" error message i also get the "nope aint happenin just go on and give it up now error code 0xE8000084" what exactly is that? it wont elaborate so will someone please help me!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
AND
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting -
Ipod Touch is working only when plugged to a charger.
I haven't been using my Ipod for over a month. It wasn't used by anybody at all to be specific. Yesterday, I got it back and tried to use it. First it was charging for about 40 minutes, but after this it turned on and worked correctly. I left it charging a few hours more, and when I came back, unplugged it, Ipod wasn't working. I plugged it back, magic, it's working again. So I left it charging over the night, but when I checked it today's morning it gave the same results. Maybe You've got some solutions i could use.
2 Important things:
- It works only with a wallcharger, not with a computer cable.
- I wouldn't like to go to a service because my warranty has expired. You can try resetting it by holding down the home and sleep keys, past the power down, and until you see the silver apple logo. Let it reboot and then let it charge and see if it holds the charge. If it doesn't then your battery may have died. Afraid that isn't user servicable. You can either take it into an authorized repair place or you can take it to a third party repair shop. Using hte non-authorized place will void your warranty, but if your warranty is done like you said, then it may be cheaper and doesn't matter as much.

My ipod touch has frozen with a white screen. The on/ff and sleep buttons will not work whether pressed for a moment or held for more than 10 seconds as per help pages. When connected to computer it is not recognised and no indication in "devices".It has been working perfectly from Christmas until now. Was watching a TV prog via BBC iplayer when the image and sound froze for about 5 seconds then just white screen. Help
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -
I have iOS 7. When I go to the itunes store on my ipod touch it gives me a blank screen with nothing on it. I restarted my ipod touch and it didn't work. Can someone help me with this?

My sons iPod touch stopped working, it won't charge in a docking station and the computer/itunes won't recognize it when connected. We have tried holding the power and home button at the same time for several seconds, and the screen still stays black. Thanks!
Hello skdog I possibly think your ipod touch is black because it has not charged. If your dock is broken it might just mean the dock will be broken and so might be the USB port. You should see an Apple shop nearby and hand it over and see what they can do. I hope this information works!
