IPod Touch sreen stops working after getting wet. After, work again normally for two weeks. Now, sometimes work, sometimes don't. Any clues?
My iPod took a bit of rain when i'm cooming home. After that, the touch stops responding. I tried restart and everything, but I only get to destroy the iOS. After, I put the iPod under the notebook in order to try to dry him with the heat. The touch work again! I restored the iOS and everything goes fine for two weeks. Yesterday, I plug the iPod for use the iTunes and he wasn't recognized by the iTunes, and the touch stops working again. I restored again the iTunes start to recognize him, but the touch works for a little bit and stop again. I put it under the note and the touch works for time enough for me to turn off the iPod. Anybody has any ideia what is going on? Thanks.

7 to 10 days is better, and the failure rate is very high, you may need a new iPod.

Anyone have ideas for how to get an Ipod touch restarted if it hasn't been used for a couple of weeks. I have held down the on/off button and the home button and nothing seems to work. Also does not turn on after being plugged in.

Hey, so, this issue have more than 6 months but it wasn't so annoying till now.
Here's the thing, my iPod touch 4 Gen, 64Gb, latest version of iOs, etc, is the slower iDevice I never had.
The problem started 2 months after I buyed it, so I decided to restore it, but it doesn't did anything at all.
Today I'm doing the restore, for the 21st time, and is something really sad since I never had any problem with
my iPad 2, my iPod touch 3g, or even the iPhone 3gs.
Just for the record, the restore isn't from any back up, I choose the "from the factory" option (I don't remember the real name)
I always close my apps, and at least, one time per day I reset my devices with home/sleep buttons.
What can I do to solve this? or I'm going to have a brick of 64gb in my pocket forever?
If it matters, from the 64gb I use almost 48gb of music, since my only apps are the podcast, twitter and Bike Baron.

Itunes 4 pc not working for two weeks now
After a windows 7 update 2 weeks ago my itunes stopped working. I have uninstalledand reinstalled and i cam't get Itunes working again.. what can I do?
it wont launch. i have made sure that it installs in the program files (x86) folder too.

sami've been having this same problem since Wedneday 25th..i also tried all the steps you took numerous times as well and still nothing.... i find this very very annoying because siri was working all along and suddenly it stop working... i restored the phone over 6 times n still nothing... right now im restoring it as i type this.... hope it would work this time.

Are you sure you have 3G iPod? If it is a 8 or 16 GB one it is a 2G iPod. A 32GB could be either. Identify yurs here:

A 2g can only go to 4.2.1.

The touch screen is not working when I am in the Music app of my iPod Touch. How do I get it to begin working? It just stopped today.

If the Mail application will not launch, I would recommend processing any available updates on your Mac Pro and test launching Mail. If the issue persists, process a reinstall of Mavericks.

My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine earlier, but when I went back a few hours later, the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. I thought it just needed to be charged but there seems to be a larger issue now. What should I do?
Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

Can I get my front camera working? On my iPod touch 5th generation 16gb? As I've reset it all and it still isn't working.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My ipod touch has stopped playing through my Sony docking station, It only plays through the i pod. It's not the docking station as my daughter's ipod works fine on it. It can synch when connected to computer. Any ideas what is wrong?
Have discovered that I had not in fact updated the ios!!
Went through the process last night and my ipod now works fine on my docking station.

it went through the extracting software stage but then an error message saying that it encountered problems came up and it didn't restore.

My IPOD Touch just stop working - I was listening to music and it stop. I cannot power it down or re-start it. The time is correct and that is I can see at the top of the screen of the IPOD along with the battery info
Try resetting:
Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
