i have a jailbroken ipod touch 4th gen and when i retsrted the springboard my ipod is flashing the loading screen and lockscreen. but when i try to restore using itunes the connection times out and the software update doenst download , HELP.
TRy placing the iPod in DFU mode and then restoring. See:

Try switching it back from landscape to vertical. Or, go to settings and see if you have any special setting turned on that enable only landscape view. Also, try hooking it up to your computer and charging it to see what happens.

The screen on my ipod touch is stuck zoomed in. I don't know how it happened I just looked down and it was like that. I have turned it off and back and even reset it but it still keeps zooming back in each time I turn it on. I can't unlock it because I can't see the numbers and it won't let me move around the screen. Please help.

Brand New iPod Touch - It's stuck and not being recognized by iTunes
I just got a new iPod Touch for a gift. I plugged it in and it needed to update software to 4.0. I allowed it to download and install and left the computer alone. Came back and it is currently stuck showing the screen with the USB and the iTunes symbol. It is no longer recognized on iTunes when I plug it in. I cannot get it off this screen, I would do a restore but iTunes does not recognize this. When I plug the iPod touch in, it shows up in device manager as Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode) (2 of them). I am able to install the drivers on one and the other it will not let me and gives me a code 10. This is very frustrating especially since I have owned it less than 5 hours.

My daughter's iPod Touch is stuck on a blank screen with that loading circle thing just going around and around. She said she was trying to duplicate an app or something, and all the the apps started shaking like when you delete them. I turned the iPod off, but it never turned back on completely. Can't connect my ipod toch to itunes!!! It doesn't see it! I use windows 8, don't know if that's the problem. Anyways, my ipod is stuck! However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

- A reset. Nothing is lost

Start off with some basic steps:
- Make sure iTunes is up to date
- Try another usb cable

Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -
