IPod Touch TV show list backwards...
I have episodes of 2 different TV shows on my iPod Touch, and while the show names are in alphabetical order, there is an issue when I go into the episode list of the shows.
All of the episodes are listed in reverse order...
Example: I have every episode of Futurama on my Touch, and when I go to the episode list, episode 1 "Space Pilot 3000" is the last item on the list.
Is there a setting anywhere I can change to make the list show up in the proper order?

If you haven't already fixed the problem. I found a way to properly sort episodes.
What I did.
1)In itunes select the episode. Get info.
2)In the info tab only fill out the Name section.
3)Go to Video tab. Fill in Show Name and Season. Leave everything else blank.
4)Go to Sorting tab. In the Sort Name box enter "A" for episode one and continue through the alphabet for each episode in order.
5)Click OK and load onto your ipod. The episodes should sort properly.
I'm sure you can add more info to the tags section. But I'm happy with what I have. Basically with my ipod touch I have it sorted as such:
Futurama Vol. 1
Space Pilot 3000
Season 1
blah blah blah and so on.

When I try to play a song on my iPod Touch, it shows the information screen for the song and then skips to a new song but then goes back to the main playlist page without ever playing a song! Help!
thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. Are u just trying to get the creative people saying "oh man we lost another one to ipod" cuz i'm sure they don't lose sleep over u wanting to buy an ipod instead of a zen. *done ranting*

i own a ipod touch and a ipad2g but i lost my ipod touch and downloaded the find iphone app on my ipad and when i opened the app my ipod touch wasnt even listed on it as one of my products but i use the same apple id for all of my products??!! Please Help
Ive never used that but I think there is a find ipod app. But im not sure. The ipod might have had to have it on?

I updated my ipod but it failed....
Now my Ipod touch is showing a connect to itunes image. When I connected it to itunes it said that I need to "Restore it". But I have video on it that I really, really need. How do I do this without loosing all of my footage and photos?
Please help!?You do not. You have to restore the iPod. You can then restoe from backup and get to where you were when the the last backups was made.

i have tried reinstalling (following the correct steps apple gave) twice and i have the 64bit and this is 64bit computer

Sounds like your iPod is in restore mode. Connect it to iTunes. iTunes will pop a little message up saying that your iPod is in restore mode and asking you if you want to restore it, click yes. Your iPod will restore to factory settings and you will be given the chance to restore from a backup. You can do this or set it up as a new iPod.

When i scan my ipod from the application named find my ipod touch 4 it simply shows location unavailable while that of my cousin's ipod touch exactly shows the same location..... Why does that happen???
When you go to the Google Maps app on the iPod does it correctly find your location? The iPod's locations service uses the location of the a nearby wifi router to locate te iPod. However, not all routers are in Apple's database and as of yet nobody here knows of a way to add routers to the database.

Downloaded podcast with ipod touch 2g showing like video

I have ipod touch 2g. When i download audio podcast with ipod touch its showing like it is video podcast. After connecting ipod touch with PC all ok showing like audio podcast. What could be wrong? Sorry if i posted in wrong place.
ThanksI already have the Radio Tiesto episode 110 on my Touch (2G), it does not show as video and when I started it running, it played as audio only, as I expect. So why yours should show as video, I've no idea. Episode 80 of the "State of Trance" is no longer showing up in iTunes, so I'm currently downloading ep81, which looks as though it is an audio file. I'll post again if I discover it's not. I already have ep77, but that's on my Classic. However, in iTunes it shows as audio.
So, I've no idea why this should be, although as you noted, it only happens when you download directly onto the Touch. Perhaps you need to report a bug via feedback, sorry, I can't find the page to link to at the moment.
The best workaround for now would be to subscribe in iTunes, let iTunes download them when you are there (but you can set iTunes to automatically download when you are away) and then Sync episodes.

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Delete all music by: go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

I just received a new Ipod Touch and am just playing around with it a bit to see what it can do.
When I look at Vista Explorer and check the devices attached to my desktop PC, it is not showing the Ipod attached via one of the USB 2 hubs. I know the computer is seeing the Ipod, because as soon as I plug it in, itunes is activated on the desktop. Shouldn't I see the Ipod as a device attached to the PC?
A second question kind of related to the first. Can I download apps, music, etc., to my PC and then transfer them over to the Ipod, without downloading directly to the Ipod? Reason I'm asking this, is that I'm having a bit of a problem connecting to my password-secured home network. The relation to the first question, is if I can't see the Ipod on the PC can I do such a transfer, or is that all done through itunes.

Stewthe ipod touch doesn't work in quite the same way other ipods do, it doesn't allow you to see it (or use it) as an external drive (like you would with a USB stick or something else you've plugged into your PC)
the only time the iPod touch will show up in windows explorer is when there are 'Saved Photos' on it. Photos which have been obtained on the iPod touch, either via screenshots (hold the home button and the power button at the same time to get a screenshot), from safari (when browsing the internet, hold your finger on a picture to bring up an option to save it), or from emails. then you will be able to access the ipod in windows explorer in order to access these photos and move them to your PC.
yes, you can download music etc. to your PC first. this is how it was done before they invented wireless! (and actually the wi-fi itunes store is still fairly basic and limited). just go into the itunes store (there should be a link to it on the left hand side of your itunes screen) and download to your heart's (and bank accounts) content.
then you just sync them to your ipod, like presumably you have already done with the music you've put into itunes from your CDs.
