Ipod touch wifi not as good as before

my ipod touch wifi cant get the internet from across the hallway, but it used to get it from a block away. I tryed all of the things on YouTube, but none of them worked. Please Help!

Did you try:
resetting the iPod?
Resetting network setting?
Restoring the iPod from backup?
Restoring the iPod to factory defaults?
Saying that you did what was specified on an undefined YouTube vidoe provides us with no information on what you did,

IPod Touch Range not so good

I can connect to my iPod Touch when it is in the same room as the base but if I am just one floor away it will not connect. I can see my network but it won't connect. In same room, I do nothing and it connects no problem.

Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.
There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought,
And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.

I tried to restore it and I got error code 2009, so I closed it tried again got error code 1659, now it wont do anything and it's not recognized by my pc /itunes please help x

You have to put in a credit card number so you can purchase a game thats free or 0.99 cents or higher then you have to fill in other stuff then press next on your ipod touch or computer then it says you have succesifully created an apple id! What encryption are you using on the router?
If WEP you have to set the router to use the first key and you have to enter the first key as the password on the iPod. See:

If you do not have dupicate songs on the iPod then:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
