  • MY ipod touch wont connect to the internet. HELP i've tried everything I can think of.

I've reset the wireless settngs, turned the wifi off and then turned it back on, and I've clicked "other" under the wifi names and typed in the name and password. What next?

Can other devices that you own connect to your WiFi network? If not then that is the problem, not the iPod.

  • HT1386 i tried to sync my ipad to my itunes using usb but it will say not charging,, i can sync with my ipod touch without any problem... please help..

i tried to sync my ipad to my itunes using usb but it will say not charging,, i can sync with my ipod touch without any problem... please help..

    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4060 :
The fastest way to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter. When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge, but only when it's in sleep mode.
iPods need less power to charge them (their wall charger is half the power of the iPad's, 5W as opposed to 10W), so are more likely to charge via USB

  • My iPod touch wont Connect or Slide

My iPod screen says Connect to iTunes, but it wont connect, and I've tried to "Hard Reset" it, but it just goes right back to the same screen. also when i try to turn it off it wont let me slide to turn it off? Please help!! i've had my iPod for quite awhile and this is the first problem i've ever had with it.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Alright so I got a new Ipod touch last weekend and so far its been fine, tonight I'm trying to connect it and have plugged it in and it won't show up in my itunes, but when I unplug it my computer makes the disconnect noise yet it wont (though it has never for some reason) even show up when I go to the My computer icon as all my previous ipods have. When I go to connect to the internet, It doesn't show MY internet in the internet selecions at all. The only way that I can connect to it is if I go very close to the internet model and only then can I connect to the internet, but when I leave somewhere farther like in my room, it disconnects and doesn't show it at all after a few minutes of using the internet, or even if im not using the internet It still disconnects itself and doesnt show my internet unless I go back next to the modem. I always have to repeat this process to connect to the internet on my ipod. All the computers in the house connect fine. even everyone else with an ipod. This started a couple days ago and dont know why it's happening. PLEASE HELP D::
