IPod TV out not clear
Hi everyone,
I just got a third party iPod AV cable. When I hooked it up to the TV, there was a lot of noise in the picture and it wasn't very clear. When I wiggled the cable it cleared up. Just wondering if anyone else has experience this and any possible solutions. Also, is there a cable that uses the 9 pin connector and won't make a huge dent in my wallet? Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is 3 different video out cables.
The original video out cable that works for the iPod Photo, iPod with Color Display, and iPod Video which have a video out port that doesn't support component out. It was not designed to work with the iPod Touch, iPod Classic or iPhone.
There are 2 different cables available for the iPod Classic, iPod Touch, and the iPhone. The Apple Composite Cable which will also work with the older iPod models, and the iPod Component cable which will work with HDTV's (output is 480ip/576p or 480i/576i depending on iPod model or iPhone).
The ones that will work with the iPhone should say "Works with iPhone" on them.

thanks....................................................The links Harm provided influenced the original build, but on his advice, I re-read them and decided to alter it and bit.
If I swap out the ASUS Rampage for the Deluxe model, replace the Velciraptor with a Seagate 2TB, and the water cooling with a COOLER MASTER, Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler (rated Gold by hardwaresecrets), then I can upgrade to the larger COOLER MASTER, HAF 932 Advanced and keep the price about the same.
Given my projected video editing demands, it doesn't seem like the ASUS Rampage MB offers much more than the ASUS Deluxe MB and the latter contains BT and wireless.
Since I do not intend to OC, there doesn't seem to be a great need for liquid cooling, especially with the larger tower case. At any rate, it does feel better not put "liquid" and "computer" in the same sentence!
The Corsair AX850 Gold power supply does indeed seem to be a better choice.
There doesn't seem to a concensus in the all the discussions relating to using a SSD vs a hard drive for the boot disk. However, since boot speed is not an issue for me I don't need an SSD and the Velociraptor seems to a unnessary expense. While I don't need 2TB for the boot drive, they are not much more than the 1TB.
The only question remaining is filtering the air. This machine will be in a dusty (but not dirty) environment. I read Harm's thoughts on air filtering provide in his link, but don't want to go the custom route. These aftermarket filters look nice http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11729/ffi-57/DEMCiflex_Cooler_Master_HAF_932_Magnetic_Du st_Fan_Filter_Set_-_4_Piece.html, but for the cost, I'd rather put another $50-60 into the case and get one with good filtering.
Does anyone have experience with a stock Full Tower with complete built-in filters they have actually used in a dusty environment they would be willing to share?

My old computer had itunes and downloaded songs that I put on my ipod. Well, my old computer got replaced years ago without saving hard drive info or passwords and my iPod burnt out years ago and will not activate. I now have a new computer and iPod and I have an iTunes account on my iPhone5. How can I get access to my old songs on new computer? Are they lost for good? I have no info about my old computer and old account.

Hello, my iPod touch is not working right. It says its connected but if I select App Store, safari and other apps that require wifi pops out a note saying either"error loading" or "cannot connect to iTunes Store" and would exit the app automatically. Please help.

Video Out not working on Ipod Classic 80gb
I can't get video out to work on anything. I have a relatively new Onkyo home theater with an iPod dock that has video out cables, and I can't get a picture to show up on the TV. Also, my gym has StarTrac cardio equipment which has video connectivity through a built-in iPod dock. Video is supposed to show up on the TV monitor attached to the cardio machines, but all I get is "no signal".
Since I can't get either of them to work, is something wrong with my iPod?

If that's not the problem, check this page, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1454 to ensure you have the correct cable for your iPod, although you need to ensure you have identified your iPod model correctly. Check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 if you're not sure because there is a crucial difference between the Classic and the 5th generation video models. (On the *iPod and iPhone: TV out support* page - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1454 - look at the third table down, headed *Apple Component AV Cable with iPod Universal Dock or Apple Universal Dock* .) Notice that the Apple Universal Dock and Component cable combination works for an iPod Classic, but not for the 5th gen iPod. My point being; if the STarTrac device you mention has a built-in dock, perhaps it's designed for the iPod Classic, but if you have the 5th gen, it won't work.
... and no, I don't know why one dock is called the Apple Universal Dock, while the other is called iPod Universal Dock! Such a similar naming convention only leads to confusion. I know, I had to examine each box in my local store to find the iPod dock among all the Apple docks they had since they thought both docks were identical. -

BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST - DOES NOT CLEAR OUT ERROR
In ME21N I want to validate the field Commodity Code - STAWN. I have used the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST*
. Have used get_foreign_trade() in the PROCESS_ITEM method . I am able to throw an error . It is doing it but*
after throwing error then when we give a valid Commoditycode too it is still showing the error and not clearing the error .*
As suggested by Dean Q I used INCLUDE mm_messages_mac,
tried im_item->set_foreign_trade( ls_mepo_eipo) still when a valid Commodity code is entered after an invalid one it does not clear out the error. In fact on checking using break-point I found that the second time it does not enter into the method PROCESS_ITEM. Any help is welcome

In SE18 give ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST as the enhancement spot and display. At the left side of the screen you can see the badi definition ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. Expand the tree and double click on implementations. You can see the enhance implementations created. Double click on the enhancement implementation and in that screen there is a check box 'Implementation is active' and field 'Effect in current client'.
If you know the enhancement implementation name(not the badi implementation name), you can check it directly from se19.

I had ITunes on a Dell laptop. I copied it all to a Compaq laptop via external hard drive. The Dell is deauthorized. The Compaq is authorized. My IPod Classic will not Sync on the Compaq. I have transferred purchases, but "Sync" is greyed out. How can I get the IPod to sync with the Compaq?
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
The iPod should appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES. Select it there. To the right, its Summary screen is shown. Toward the top, there is a bar of buttons starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This Music screen is where you tell iTunes how to sync songs ot the iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music. This is the switch to enable automatic syncing. If your iTunes music library fits on the iPod, you can choose to sync Entire music library. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Select playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Then select what you want on the iPod from the lists below.
Click Apply to intiate automatic syncing between that iTunes library and your iPod (based on how the iPod's Music screen is set up in iTunes). -
My screen had a black out and since then, my ipod touch is not getting started. it just shows ' connect ipod to itunes'. Even after doing that, my Itouch doesn't appear anywhere in Itunes. Help !! ??
