Ipod unable to connect?
I have had this problem more than once. My music has vanished, and its stuck on the "disk mode" screen with "OK to disconnect" and I cant get out of it, it goes to the folder with the caution sign as well at times. The problem is, I cant get it to connect to my computer, when i PLug it in i can hear it connect, the beeping noise, but i cant see it on "My computer" or Itunes? Whats up?
Btw I hear it clicking and making..wrong noises
First remove any printers or other usb devices connected restart and when it comes back up plug in your ipod and hopfully it will show up in my computer if not well try somthing else

I tried powering down the router. When it's off the iTouch does not recognize the network and then when it's powered on again, the iTouch recognizes the network. Unlike the public wi-fi spots that my iTouch responds to, where all the info like IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router, DNS etc are populated in the settings...my iTouch does not populate these fields at home even though it recognizes the network. I still get the unable to connect to network error. Could it be that my router is antiquated and can not support the iTouch? Like I said earlier, my Router does not recognize the iTouch as being attached to it.

IPod unable to connect or charge
Hello, my friends iPod Nano was connected to her charger and it blew a fuse. After this she has got no power to her iPod and it is not detected once I connect it to iTunes so I can restore it for her. When the fuse was blown the iPod had no power so I cant boot it up. I am currently trying to charge it but with no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this will be great.

New itunes makes ipod unable to connect
I am having trouble with my 2gen ipod that uses firewire which until the upgrade to version 7.6 i can't even get my ipod to start in windows the ipod says on it that it is ok to disconnect and device manager sees it but says device will not start. this is on a windows vista 64bit but it was working before the new itunes. now i can take the ipod plug it into my other pc which wasn't updated with the new itunes and with the same pci firewire card pulled out of the other machine and installed it works like a charm. gone thru every troubleshooting page on the web-site been like this since the beginning of dec 2007. Anyone have any ideas?

my ipod touch has a usb cable picture with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. the ipod will not connect to a computer and is unable to be turned off as there is no red power slider when the power button is pressed. what can i do to fix this?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

I have a 16GB iPod touch that suddenly stopped connecting to the internet last night. Everytime I try to get mail, or access anything with Safari I get a message saying that it can't connect to the server. Also I've plugged it in to my home computer but it won't connect to iTunes either. I haven't updated to iOS8 yet as I didn't have enough space for it and I had planned on deleting all my music files, updating the software and putting whatever music I could fit back on to the device afterward, but now I'm hesitant to do that as I have no way to get any of the files back onto the device. Could this be because I haven't updated to iOS8 yet? I've been having other problems such as apps crashing unexpectedly lately as well, for example my music shuts off randomly and apps such as Twitter and Tumblr and a few others crash on launch. I'm definitely not a genius when it comes to technology by any means, so I have no idea what's causing this problem or how to fix it, any help would be greatly appreciated!

as stated in the title, i when i try to sync my new ipod touch to my computer it says its unable to connect due to unkown reasons. the music is listed on my touch as there, but faded (minus a selected few songs) and therefore are unplayable. i have no idea where to start, i figured downloading the newest itunes update, however, it no longer shows up when i start it up. confused.

- Unsync all music and resync

IPod Touch unable to connect to wireless network.
I just got an iPod Touch 4 for my birthday (w00t), however I cannot seem to get it to connect to my wireless router. Everytime I try, it says Unable to connect to network. I reset the routers password, but it didn't do anything. I saw in other threads people said to switch ti WPA security, but mine is already set as WPA Personal. I'm not sure what to do! Please help!
NO I did not and thank you very much for the advice. My problem was stated incorrectly in that while I am able to connect to the wireless from that point on I am unable to connect to the internet. I will check the article referred to.

IPod Touch - 4th Gen - iOS 6 - Unable to Connect to Qwest WiFi
I'm not totally certain this is the place or section to send in a complaint, but in my frustrated rush I will post here regardless.
I have never had any problems connecting to my modem. Until just yesterday.
I left to to go work, and came home to find that my iPod was not receiving a connection from my modem any longer.
I tried connecting my WiFi again only to get the message, "Unable to connect to this network".
I then restarted my modem, left it off for about an hour and then powered it back on. No change.
I've restarted my iPod, Reset Network settings, turned WiFi on and off and it still sends me the same message.
My roomate also has the same problem with his iPod.
I would love input, help, and suggestion from anyone who has either had this problem or knows exactly how to fix it.
Again, this problem DID NOT occur until yesterday afternoon at around 3pm (PST)

apart from that I would make it forget the wifi network and then readd it

I JUST NEED HELPI would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.

My ipod 4G won't connect to my wifi at home with new router. Says "unable to connect" and won't give me any other options. Have tried resetting network connections. I don't want to lose anything. I have tried turning everything off and back on again. Desktop and laptop are working fine. Sometimes it turns on suddenly and I can use it for like 20 mins but then shuts off again. Hi . I recently got an iPod touch 1g from my sister's friend , and everything on it works fine, except the wifi. Everytime I try to go on wifi I'll click "other >" and type in my Router name and password , and it says it ither cannot connect or its unable to connect to it . Now I dont know why . because my Ps3 is connected to it, my Macbook Air is connected to it, my other laptop is connected to it , and my sister's ipod touch (im not sure what generation) is also connected to it . I have my 1st generation's firmware upgraded to 3.1.3 and I still cant connect. when it says " checking for networks" it wont find any, but my sister's finds every network on our street .
