Ipod will not add certain tv epi for some reason!
i bought this epi of monk, the pilot epi of season one, and it is in two parts. i bought both parts, but for some reason only part two shows up on my ipod....yet it is in my itunes and i can view it there and everything. is there some reason why it is not transferring onto my ipod????

in the end, i chose to sync all unwatched epis and the next thing i knew it showed up on my ipod!

It's also possible that newer iPhone updates want an OS higher than Tiger. Post the specs of your computer and we can see if an OS upgrade is possible. There are a large number of G4 variants with different capabilities, so giving us something more than just "G4" will get you help faster. -
My itunes will not connect to the internet for some reason,
i can go to the itunes store but when i try to update my iphone it tells me i am not connected to the internet whats going on? anyone have any idea?
I am experiencing this problem as well.
I have access to the internet and can download songs from the music store but iTunes is being its usual pain in the rear and says I do not have an internet connection when I try to download any updates.
This does not seem to be a firewall issue, at least as far as I can tell, as I have McAfee and both iTunes and iTunes Helper have Full Access in my firewall settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
I got a new iPhone 5 when I went to add my music back from the cloud Not on this iPhone Rihanna for some reason will not re load to my new phone the Little wheel just keeps moving nothing ever happens. I turned it off and still nothing
whats up with that I have one beatles song and one kenny chesney alsoMate, I'm trying to find out if it was shipped like that or not. If someone else has had the same issue then I can go back to Apple and have them look into it further. If not then as I said Vodafone is selling second hand phones and they will have to replace the phone.
Vodafone account manager is saying that he has never heard of anything like it.
So I'm left with one of 3 answers.
1: The phone was shipped like that so its a factory error.
2: The Apple genius doesn’t know what he's talking about then I can go back to the store and ask for a second opinion.
3: Vodafone is selling second hand phones as new.
I need to narrow it down so I can deal with the account manager appropriately -
I was using my notes earlier today and now for some reason they are all gone. How does this happen and is there anything I can do to get them back, the new ones also that haven't been synced.

Went through this step-by-step, but alas it did not solve the problem. For some reason I can download mail on my Macbook Pro and iPhone, but no my iMac. Connection Doctor shows all green lights. This started today when I was prompted to re-enter incoming mail server passwords. I re-entered passowrds yet again to make sure they were correct. Rebuilt the inBox. Connection Doctor continues to show all green lights, but am still unable to download mail to the inbox. Has anyone else ever run into this problem?
I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

All of a sudden I am not receiving one of my gmails on my Mac mail account. I have a mobile me account, a cox account, a different gmail account and they all seem to be working. I tried deleting it and adding it again. No luck. Not sure what happened. I get the emails on my iphone and ipad just not coming in on my desktop for some reason. Any suggestions?
I actually deleted the account and re-added it as an IMAP account and it seems to be working. No idea why. My other account is still a POP account, but it never had any issues. Oh well. I'm getting them again on my desktop. Thanks for the response though!

I can not reset my security questions for some reason.
For some reason I can not reset my security questions. It keeps telling me it's send ing me an email I get it and follow the directions, but when I get to the security question it just brings me right back to the beginning. HELP

I suddenly need to start Firefox in Safe Mode or it will not open. The problem after deleting extensions and adding profiles appears to be Session Manager which I have been using successfully for along time and really enjoy its usefulness. is there a fix to this problem?? Thank you.
I'm not using that extension, so I do not know which files are used in addition to sessionstore.js and you need to check the profile folder yourself for suspect files.
This can be a problem with the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]<br />
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js .

IPod will not add music/sync after iOS 7.1.1
Since downloading the iOS 7.1.1 update I am unable to add music to my iPod Touch.
I manage everything manually; and, when I drag music from my iTunes Library to my iPod it shows that it is ready to sync but the process never happens.
I have the newest version of iTunes and have tried rebooting everything with no luck.
Any ideas to fix this other than restoring the iPod? Would the next iOS update fix this?Hey Ross, OK no joy with reboot...? Have you tried going into Settings>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings.
Or Connect with your computer using the cable, then First, make backups from your iPod to your computer of all your stuff. Then Restore from Backup. If still no joy, after the making your backups, Restore to New, a full restore.
If your working with a windows machine, have you tried un-installing iTunes then re-installing iTunes, then try syncing with your computer? (If windows, that's all I know to try.) Good luck. Cheers. -
If I turn on the projector it works fine. Interesting fact is, that this is exactly the same behavior that I have when playing videos from the iPad. Worth to mention is that the ATV2 is connected to the speakers via optical cabIe. Is there a setting that I'm missing? I can't imagine that Airplay for music from the iPod requires a turned on Video device connected to the ATV2. Thanks.
Hy Alley_Cat, that was the last bit on information that I wanted to add to the question. All devices say they are up to date. Which means that iPad and iPod run 5.0.1 and ATV 2 4.4.4(3330).

Ipad2 to iPod FaceTime issue. Can't activate for some reason
Just got son iPod touch and want to be able to FaceTime with him. Created yahoo account but still doesn't work. I can FaceTime with other iPhone users fine. What is the problem? When I try to connect get possible phishing site error.
Apps you purchase from the Mac App Store can only run on the Mac OS X.
Apps purchased from the iTunes store run on iOS based devices such as your iPod.
In other words, you can't run the game for your Mac then copy it to your iPod. Two differenct operating systems. -
Can I retrieve my notes from my i phone and i pad from I Cloud. The notes seem to vanish from both the pad and phone
If this just happened you may want to just give it some time to see if they reappear, in case there was a server glitch that will correct itself. Otherwise, if the notes are no longer on icloud.com you may, with some effort, be able to restore them from your iCloud backup by following Winston Churchill's post here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22600445#22600445.

Believe it or not the iPod can go for months on end without ever completely powering down. Sometimes it helps to simply reboot it like any computer.

My ipod will not turn on, please help.
My problem is different than the other ones posted on the forums, I have a 60gig ipod. Once it turns off I can't get it to turn back on unless I reset the system by pressing the menu and center button. Is there a way without restoring the original settings? It works fine once its on, but it is really frustrating to have to reset the ipod every time I want to use it. And I don't want to create more problems by constantly restarting it, that can't be too good for the ipod. It still syncs fine with the computer and everything. And it has a charge. If I reset the ipod, it will play fine. It's just after I use it, I turn it off, and next time I want to play it, I would have to reset it.

I have a 5th Generation 80GB Classic ipod.
I went to turn on the ipod and nothing happened. I tried the reset method by sliding the hold switch ON, then OFF, and pressed both the top area of the MENU button and the middle of the SELECT button, at the same time, but with two different fingers.
All I’m getting now is the black screen with the Apple logo appearing for about six seconds, then off for about 6-8 seconds, and ON, over and over again and so far it has been doing this for about fifteen minutes now.
I called APPLE, and they told me to install iTunes, and plug in the ipod, and hit the RESTORE Option, but for some reason, the newly downloaded QUICKTIME and new itunes I just downloaded from Apple does not open up the itunes when I double –click on it either from the desktop, or the Start>Programs>itunes folder.
The reason for all this was that I was clearing off one computer’s hard drive to another new computer before I wipe the Hard drive. I deleted all my mp3’s and the itunes program from the old computer and put the mp3 music files onto the new hard drive. I downloaded the new Quick time and itunes programs separately to my desktop.
I was told from Apple that my ipod warranty has expired by about 85 days.
I have run all the Apple updates and it tells me I am up to date. Thanks for any help.
