Ipod Will Not Change to my New Apple ID

On my iTunes, I changed my email address on my Apple ID. No matter how many times I try to get the new email as the email on iTunes, App Store, and Settings on the iPod itself, it always refers to my old account, with a password I can't remember and an email account that is inactive. I really want to be able to use my iPod and not just my iTunes to utilize my WiFi! Please help!

When you changed the email address it sends a verification email to your account. Did you read this and click the link? It has to be done on laptop or desktop computer, not the ios devices. Make sure you choose "Use Existing Appleid" when signing in. It would be nice knowing which appleid sign in you are having issues with. There are a few. Even just tell us what you tap on to get to the message.

Again, this only affects you if someone *redownloaded* content with a different ID. In my case, I emailed iTunes Store support, explained the situation, and they reset the counter. I recommend you try the same
If you read discussion boards, this is a significant change from a year ago, when Apple told people in the same situation to go f&$# themselves. Clearly it's dawning on them that this is a stupid policy, and my guess is if people keep complaining they'll change it to something more reasonable. Remember, it wasn't that long ago you couldn't re-download content at all.
Apple can't really afford to play hardball on this. Sure, the hardcore fanboys will always say "Thank you sir, may I have another" whatever Apple throws at them, but the rest of us will just switch to Amazon, which has none of these restrictions.

Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
Attempts to sync an iDevice to a new computer will remove all content from the device and replace it with content from the new, empty library.

Have you went to the manufacturer's support site?
Does the manufacturer say the dock works with your model iPod Touch and iOS? Many do not.

My iCloud account did not change from my old Apple ID to the new Apple ID, that I recently set up. What do I do now?

Roger provided you with the steps to get your new ID signed onto iCloud on your Mac. If you have any devices that still have that old iCloud ID still signed on, you will have to do the following for those:
1.     Go to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with your current ID and password, then change your Apple ID back to the old ID (the one that is still showing on iCloud). This is temporary so, do NOT verify the ID, do NOT change the password: Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud and sroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Delete Account. Use your current Apple ID passoword when asked. Follow the prompts to complete the deletion of the iCloud account
3.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID and change your ID back to your new ID (you may have to verify it again)
4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your new Apple ID. Everything will be pushed back to your device from your iCloud account - it make take a few minutes

My iPod classic will not sync on my new PC. I have authorized this PC with my Apple ID, but regardless of my trying to sync, it is not doing so. I have the new Windows 8, if that matters. I can play newly added music in my LIbrary on my PC, but it does not show up on my iPod. Any ideas?

Is this particular iPod model explicity marked as compatible with this new microsystem? You might want to contact the microsystems manufacturer for more information.

My iPod Touch 4 will not change plane, horizontal/vertical when it is flipped or shaken. It just stays in the upright position.

Make sure the orientation lock has not been enabled. Double click the home button and swipe your finger to the right. You should see an arrow forming a circle. If there is a padlock inside of it, tap it once to disable the orientation lock.

I have recently copied my iTunes to a new computer using the instructions from Apple site, via an external drive. My iPod will not sync on the new computer. The option to sync automatically is greyed out and it won't let me set it. How do I resolve?

The problem is that i can't get my iPod classic to sync on the new laptop. I did a factory reset and re-install. It still won't sync. When I hit the 'sync' icon it does nothing. In the Options screen the option to automatically sync is greyed out and doesn't allow me to enter anything in the box. How can i resolve this?

You need iTunes on the computer. There is no iTunes for your phone. See:

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

TS3212 Ipod will not update/sync with new songs I have purchased after downloading win 8.1. Help?

I have a 160GB ipod, i think it is a classic. After uploading WIN 8.1 on my computer I can no longer sync my ipod to my itunes account. From the looks of things online I am not the only person with this problem.
Any fixes? I have about 40 songs waiting for me.
Second question.... is there a way to download the music from an ipad to an ipod? I ordered a cable with double IPOD ends...will that do it for a sync?

I have the same problem and it looks like MANY people have this problem. My iPod Classic 160GB will sync with various computers runing Windows 7 or less, but not my Windows 8.1 notebook. It freezes both the iPod and iTunes when trying to copy anything to the iPod. I can erase songs on the iPod, but not copy to it. On another Windows 7 computer it all works perfectly. I have even restore and re-formatted the iPod in question multiple times. Windows 8.1 thinks there is a problem whenever I connect it and wants to scan for errors. It never finds any. No such problems on oother computers. The Apple drivers seem to have a problem on Windows 8.1. Even another iPod copy program has problems with this iPod on the Windows 8.1 computer, but not on any others. I have tried all the different USB ports, external USB hubs, etc. Windows 8.1 does not like the iPod Classic 160GB model.

Garage Band '11 version 6.0.5: Cannot change key after new project is started.
It has always worked ok prior to this. And I have had other issues. How do I reinstall Garage Band '11?
I have looked in downloads, but can'ty find any download file. I had upgraded to Mac OSX 10.6.8 couple years back, which included
Garage Band '11, a new ITunes & new IPhoto.

Before reinstalling I'd try HangTime's fix for "oddball" problems and delete the User preferences and repair permissions, see the FAQ:
