Ipod wiping each time i try to update!
does any one have a clue why when i go to update my ipod that it says that i need to update my program
then says that 'a later version of itunes is already installed' then all my ipod music and playlists get wiped and i have to start all over again which usually works after 4-5 tries. its very irritating and really getting at me now!
any ideas or suggestions much appreciated!

For a start, please tell us what kind of iPod you have, what version of iTunes you're running, what version of QuickTime you have, and what iPod updater you're using. With this information, troubleshooting your problem will be a heck of a lot easier!
And what do you mean, ...it says i need to update my program... ?

While updating my apps, I lost my wi-fi connection. I have since tried to update the apps several times...but none of them are updating. Each time I try to update the apps, I enter my password, but then nothing happens. Thank you - Chris
Hold the power button and the home button down until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. This will do a reset and you should be able to update your apps then.

I have an IPhone 4 and each time I try to update to iOS 7.0.6 I receive an error message. I have gone through te update process about 3 times and each time I get message saying there was an error and it was unable to update.

if you use windows then it seems that the windows user you use dont have writing rights to all the required dirs that itunes would use for temp storage of downloads such as the update
I would contact who ever you use for user management and rights on the computer
and get their help to grant your windows user the required rights -
what do they mean by your apple id has been disabled and how do I enable it? I get this each time I try to update my apps.
Got it sorted. AN e-mail to teh support centre got me three replies, two reasuring me that someone os working on it and the third giving me the information that the ID is enabled again and ready to use. All within 24h. Of course without any information as to why the problem came up in teh first place. At least it was swift action.

My Mac has for some time now been prompting me to update Firefox, but every time I try, the wheel just turns but nothing seems to install. I can come back in an hour and still nothing has happened. I have an iMac using Mac OS X, version 10.6.8.
Hello Andrew, if you have problem with update firefox the better way is to '''download''' and '''install''' the new version, do the next steps:
1. Download a copy of the latest firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html (full installer)
2. '''Trash''' the current Firefox application to do a clean install.
3. Install the version that you have downloaded.
Do not select to remove your personal data, your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Mac Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.

Ok make sure you have iTunes 11. Then connect iPod touch to computer then iTunes should pop up automatically. After it opens on the bottom left there should be a tab where it says your name and then iPod. For example (Johns iPod) click on that then it brings all your information of the iPod including restore and updating.

Make sure to backup your users files to a external storage drive first (not only TimeMachine as it may fail to restore) and disconnect, because if' it's a drive corruption/failing then the entire thing will either have to be replaced or a wipe and install done.
