IPod Won't Let Me Select "Folder" When Connected to my Car System

Before adding a second iPod to my iTunes I was able to connect my Nano to my car and play either Folders (CDs) or Files (songs). Now when I connect it only lets me play files. It shows the foldsers but it will not let me selct any of them. Of course it could be the car, but it strikes me as too coincidental to start only when I did a sync to add a second iPod. Any ideas? The Genius Bar suggested I check "Enable Disc Use" which I have done, but it has had no effect.

TS4009 I have followed the steps above but when I get to the screen to select a downgraded option, the Done button is grayed out and won't let me select a new option. I see a lock up in top right-hand corner, but not sure how to unlock it.

What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.

I'm not clear on how you're trying to print. When you select Print from the file menu in Pages the current document is already selected. Perhaps you need to show the details in the print dialog. The first screenshot is from Mountain Lion the second from an earlier OS where you click the blue down-facing triangle button (sorry, I can't remember which one).

Try holding the Capslock key with the letter you want to be capitalized. It should work.

ITunes/my phone won't let me put music on my phone? I can see it but it won't let me select it in "on this phone"

I have had my iPhone 5 since October and every time I would do an update the phone would crash and I had to start from scratch every time (thank god for back ups). So I finally got the chance to switch out my phone at an apple store about a month ago. Since then though, I have not been able to sync any music on to my phone. I have tried the newest versions of software possible, tried restoring my phone from the last back up of the old phone and other various things I could think of. Even when I got to the "on this iPhone" tab, it shows me all the music that is supposed to be on there. Problem is that it is all unselected and it won't let me select them. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to "automatically update songs and playlists". . If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes (Edit=>Preferences=>'iPod' tab):
1) Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synced to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, you are prompted to select a different update method.
2) Automatically update selected playlists only. With this option, iTunes automatically copies the playlists you have selected to the iPod when you connect it to the computer.
3) Manually manage songs and playlists. You can also choose to transfer music to the iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to the iPod.

Won't let me select multiple emails while on wifi - ends up deselecting them before I can do anything

I'm running the latest update, have restarted and even reset the settings for the whole systems. It's happening on my iPad and iPhone.. When I disconnect from wifi it acts normally, but if I connect to wifi that's when it won't let me select multiple emails. I will click on multiple but it ends up deselecting them

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

I previously used Firefox on my old Mac G4 with OS 10.3.9; the above issue existed with that system and Firefox 2.00.2 (or similar). I then "tried" to move to a G5 Mac with OS 10.5, hoping that an updated Mac Operating system and updating Firefox would solve that problem.
I'm now working on my son's MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8, 2.4 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo; 2gb Memory; 2 gb 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM.
I still have a problem in Firefox Preferences trying to download .qif files. BofA Mortgage accounts only allow downloading of .qif files. My .qfx download works fine, but the error message is as follows:
The error message is that this is a corrupted file or one that Preview doesn't recognize.
and it is still a problem when trying to download Quicken .qif format files for our B of A mortgage.
The preferences for Firefox under File Helpers won't let me name the extension I want; instead, it CONFUSES .qif (Quicken Interchange Format) with .qtif (Quicktime Image Format) for Mac.
Therefore, when I download .qif files and try to import them to Quicken, I get a message that this is a corrupted file:

Well, in the end, I just gave up and deleted the photos, in the hope that it was something to do with them. Took some more photos and they seem to have imported without any problems at all.
Given that the same irksome photos loaded on the wife's macbook without so much as a murmur, how weird is that?
Still- all's well that ends well. Thanks for the suggestions- much appreciated.

Security questions won't let me select third option

Everytime I try to download an app on my iphone I am now being asked to set three (rather inane) questions. Problem is that when I go to select my questions and answers I can do the first two no problem and then when I try and hit the third option to go and select one of the questions it won't let me select from any options as it just stays on 'choose' and won't go in to the options. Then I am stuck as if I try and select done it says I haven't filled out all the required fields. Really frustrating as I just want to get some apps. Help?

Arvo has 4 variations (weights and styles) which are displayed in a pop-up submenu. Are you not seeing the submenu when you hover over the entry in the font menu? Or is that you see the submenu but can't select any of its entries?
Are you on Mac or Windows? What are your Display settings (resolution and scale, if any)? Does it matter if you bring up the font menu from the Control Strip of the Text UI?
Also, please try this: in the "Filter by name" box at the top of the font menu, type Arvo Regular or Arvo Italic. This should show you just this one face (Regular or Italic) at the top-level. Are you able to select it?

IMovie won't let me select to share to iDVD

I have a project in iMovie and when I click on 'Share' it won't let me select iDVD. I then tried to open it from iDVD but it said it wasn't shared to media browser. So I went back on iMovie and clicked on Share to media browser but the only options it has given me is 'Mobile' and 'Tiny'.
My project is for television, possibly HD. So I want it in a bigger format.
Can anyone help me please?

My iPod won't let me delete certain songs from the device

I'm not sure why, but there are certain songs that I've bought that my iPod won't let me delete. You know when you swipe over the song and red delete button shows up? That just isn't happening for certain songs on my iPod and I can't figure out why. To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings

Settings>Store>Your Apple ID - tap the ID and then sign out.
I only have one app in the Newsstand folder - the Sports Illustrated app. I have never gotten this message about connecting to iTunes so I'm not sure what that is all about. I would quit the Newsstand app and the other apps and the restart the iPad and see of that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesnt work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Trying to set up new phone with iCloud. My backup shows up but not in bold so it won't let me select it. Any ideas??

Make sure your 5c is running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up. If it isn't you cannot restore the backup until you update the phone. Then make sure you are restoring the backup this way: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521.
You phone won't need to be from the same provider or have the same telephone number to use the backup, but you will need to be signed into the iCloud account that you backed up your old phone to.
