IPod won't restore no matter how many times I try...

After a fall, my iPod has been showing the message telling me to restore it using iTunes. I did so, but every time it restores the same message just pops up again and it repeats...so even though it says it restored factory settings, immediately I get a message saying iTunes is detecting an iPod in recovery mode that needs to be restored. None of the R's have worked. I've tried reformatting it, and it said it didn't format properly.
I will be bringing it to a friend's tomorrow who has a mac to see if I can restore it there, but other than that is there anything else I can do?? I leave on Wednesday for Scotland so I NEED to get this fixed ASAP!

You are caught in a Restore loop, probably due to a drive conflict with another device connected to your computer on the USB chain. Connect your iPod to a rear port on your computer, your keyboard and your mouse and disconnect all other USB devices including scanners, printers, modems, external hard drives, thumb drives etc. and disconnect from any network you might be on. Then change the drive letter to something much higher, like M or P or Z.
If you format your iPod on the Mac, you'll have to Restore it on your PC for it to work.

Linc Davis has indicated how to Force Quit out of any application that is frozen.
For your Mail issue, try the following:
- Go to Software Update to apply the new update for Mail. Not sure, but there may be bug fixes in the new version.
- Go to Disk Utility (In Applications, Utilities) and run a Permissions Repair. Then do a restart of your computer.

My Ipod classic wont restore no matter how many times I restore It.

I do have the latest Itunes software, and when I go through the whole process of restoring, It tells me that my ipod still has a problem and for me to restore. This cycle goes on and I really dont know what to do.

Ever since I bought the printer and installed it, it has never been aligned. Right now it is an extremely expensive and large paperweight.
I have tried troubleshooting the alignment, printing numerous alignment pages, etc - everytime the same result. It says "successful", but the printing is all over the page...diagonally off course.
Ever now and then it says "wrong size of papr loaded" - when clearly I am loading A4 paper into the A4 size tray setting. So it doesn't make sense.
Can anyone help??

1. Are you able to make a copy from the front panel, or does this come out with the same defects?

You should still have the older version of Firefox (the beta installs alongside the older version). Check under add/remove programs. If you do, just locate the .exe in program files under Mozilla, and create a shortcut.

When you gte requests to locate iTunes.msi like this, the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility usually fixes it.
Here is a method for removal, clean up and reinstall of iTunes.

Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)

Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.

Suddenly, I can't get the plugin scan page to open. I keep getting "Plugin Finding Service Error", no matter how many times I try, or wait. When I first opened it yesterday, it was scanning, then it disappeared and I got the error message.

I have opened the plugin scanning page many times before, and have done some updating of plugins recently, but yesterday I couldn't bring up the scan, I keep getting "Plugin Finding Service Error", which says to "try again later". I believe what I updated most recently was Flash (I think). No matter how many times I push the "try again", or shut down Firefox and the webpage, I still get the error, and get nowhere!

This problem has been occurring for the past two months. I have updated Firefox to version 3.6.16...including Flash Player to version 10.2.153.1 as instructed. I am able to click on the "Add-ons" tab and "find updates" for "Get Add-ons" and "Extensions." However, the "find updates" tab is not working for "Plugins."
I followed one of your suggestions in your "troubleshooting plugins" topic (disabling the plugins...then enabling them after a check). That didn't work either. In fact, a message box would appear saying that Firefox has "disabled Flash" instead, which of course it did not, since I was able to confirm that the Flash Player update version was still intact. Unfortunately, it appears that updating the Flash Player through Firefox is not a standalone operation. Apparently it will not work properly unless a separate update is subsequently processed through Internet Explorer as well.

I got a new ipod touch 5th gen did the set up updated it but now the only thing the screen does is ask to be hooked up to itunes and is always in recovery mode and no matter how many times I try to restore it won't work?

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Does anyone know how to unbind an app (Imob 2) from a device? I am trying to transfer my account from my iphone to my ipad and no matter how many times I try erasing all information, restoring through itunes...nothing works.

I am trying to switch my imob account from my iphone to my ipad and when I try to transfer, the ipad says that i cannot transfer another imob account to it because I bound the imob account to the device that is already on the ipad. This is driving me crazy. Every time I try to permanently delete the imob app from the ipad and download a new one, it opens to my existing app that I keep deleting. I wiped the ipad clean numerous times. I even tried using a different apple id to download it. Nothing it working. Why can't I get rid of the information stored in the app that is on the ipad? It's creepy how it won't go away. So if I sold the ipad and someone else tried to download their own game, they would not be able to because my original information that is saved on the game would keep coming up. Any help is appreciated.

No matter how many times I try to upgrade or reinstall, it always installs an older version that allows pop ups and viruses to keep coming back. How do I upgrade to the latest version of firefox if it only somehow always restores the previous version?

It is one of two things...
You MIGHT have another appleID that has the email address you are trying to verify already as its own verified email address. You can figure this out by using the find my appleID link from the appleid.apple.com page. OR...it just isn't working and you'll have to call AppleCare, get a senior advisor who can force a verification email to be sent to you. Tomorrow morning.

iOS 7 is compatible with the 5th generation iPod touch, and any older iPod isn't supported. As iOS 7 doesn't show up as an update, your device isn't supported
