Ipod wont save music

Tried to add additional music to Ipod Touch but something went wrong and I had to restore it. Once I restored the IPod wont save any music. It goes through the syncing stage and when its finished the music file is empty. Is there any way of fixing this?

I would recomend trying to restore again, but don't do ANYTHING until it's done (both on you computer and on your iPod).
When it's done restroing, try playing some songs from within iTunes. Do they play? If yes, try syncing again. And don't touch anything. If the songs in iTunes don't play, you know that the song files in iTunes itself are corrupted, and you might want to re-import or re download. Then try syncing again.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

So recently my ipod werent sincing music correctly. on my computer, the songs that were synced were put in order by artist. But on my ipod, the songs would jusst show up at the end of the list. is there a way that i can change that so it doesnt do that anymore?

Make sure you select the MP3 or AAC format when you do this.
When the songs are in your library, you can transfer them to the iPod just like any other song.

Ipod wont download music

When my ipod nano is plugged into the computer it wont pop up the itunes. It will just sit there with the "do not disconnect" sign on. It will still charge but it wont download or even erase songs. Please help!!!!!

i need help. i've looked online. okay, when i select a music video, it plays, but as soon as da video finishes, it comes back to the menu screen or repeat da same song over and over again. I want it to go to play another song, jus like in music mode. And yes,i've been to Settings ---> Repeat--> All.

That program is called yamipod I think. Wouldn't recommend using it to "Rip" stuff off though.

When i plug my ipod into my laptop itunes does not recognize it. The ipod charges but continues to say no music. Any advice??

Hey this has happened to me a couple of times to but
my works if you leave it alone for awhile ( maybe i
just hit it in the right spot). However before this
happened for 3 weeks or so my ipod would randomely
stop playing if it is on hold. i think this is
related to a malfunction in teh feature were if you
take out the headpohones it stops playing. Did your
wife experience similar problems?
Recently my ipod has a near inaudible volume. it's up
all the way, hte max volume is up all way, and when i
adjust max volume the volume comes back but as soon
as i exit out of the adjustment it becomes quiet
again.
My ipod is working now just from fiddlings and
leaving it alone (temperature effect it?)

No.. leaving it alone doesn't seem to help. It's really kind of weird, it's like everything works except playback via headphones. I can actually play songs that are store on the ipod when connected to iTunes (i.e., on my computer). Just that headphones don't seem to work.

I have the 3rd generation iPod, and recently it hasn't been playing music. What can I do to fix this problem?

In some cases, the iPod might get into a state in which it needs to be drained completely before it can be reset so try these steps.
1. Disconnect iPod from all power sources and leave it disconnected for about 24 hours.
2. Reconnect iPod to the Apple iPod Power Adapter or the computer and reset it.

Ipod Wont Recognize music files.

I had music on my video ipod that wasnt on my computer. I took the files off my ipod and put them into itunes but now when the ipod reads the file from the ipod it says the file cant be located but when i use it from the itunes it reads. How do i get the music to sync correctly. I have already used the 5 R's.

i did the same thing. i even tried making it a compressed folder and putting it back in the device but it still didnt take. any other ideas?
