Ipod wont stop restarting !!! Springboard crash

My ipod touch today i downloaded some app and suddenly i restarted the ipod touch and it went normally into the apple logo. then it just stayed like that and it had a loading sign and then it turned off after 5 minutes. and then turned on and repeated the thing forever.
I plugged my ipod in the computer a couple of time. and clicked every possible button combination and seconds !!!
i unplugged it also and plugged it back in.
Sometimes it recognized the ipod and sometimes itunes didnt.
I looked up at videos an none helped.
I am leaving it in the computer for a while now maybe it will work then.
I have no idea what else to do !
Once it worked and showed this : http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSlFoCIxQajF0Czm1XHJq3zKHjzLi80KFKh4672W lSNxy8k9aAtuZq0Ee-0

If the center portion of the monitor is flickering then your GPU on the logic is bad or (unlikely given this symptom) that your monitor cable is pinched/damaged.
**Imediately backup ALL your important data while you can still see things on the monitor
Contact Apple for appt. for in shop diagnostics for full examination and for parts replacement
nobody can give you a cost on a repair that isnt fully diagnosed online and cannot be.
perform SMC reset just to check:
    Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

  • IPod wont stop updating when ipod is connected, wont update on itunes 7!

What is honestly wrong, every time i update my ipod now with itunes 7, it wont stop updating and it says its updating but it isnt, why is it doing this with itunes 7???

  • Ipod Wont stop Resetting

I think I wrongly disconnected my new 60Gb Gen 5. It wont stop resetting itself every 5 seconds, I tried many times resetting it by pressing Menu, center button for a few secs. Please help! I did try reinstalling Itunes as well, it wont recognize the never-stop resetting Ipod.

Sounds like the ipods software got corrupt. Reset it and TRY to set it into "Disk Mode" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651
Since its reseting itself over and over it might be alittle hard, but just wait til you see the unlighted apple logo and QUICKLY hit and hold Center and play/pause like the link I've posted says.
If you get it in disk mode, you need to restore it with ipod updater 06-28-2006. If you do not have this ipod updater it can be downloaded here http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/
Restore will wipe the ipod clean, and they suggest anything thats not on the PC you try to get off the ipod and onto the PC before restoring. Being the ipod is resetting over and over I doubt you can get anything off it, Put if you want to try post back BEFORE restoring the ipod

  • My SCHOOL iPad wont stop restarting in a constant loop without access to the ipad itself.

My iPad  (gen 4) is for my school but keeps running on a constant loop and I cant do anything... the worse thing is that iOS 8 is blocked....the school wont let me update from iOS 7.1.2 Could that be the cause of my problems?

    Hi egualmente73,
If you haven't already done so, does restarting or resetting the iPad help the issue?

If not, we may want to restore your iPad using a computer with iTunes.

  • IPod wont stop shuffling, track 'x' of 'x' missing, and no time elapsed bar?

I have an iPhone 3GS running OS 4.3.1. For some reason, a few updates back, I noticed that my music was playing differently on the iPod.
Firstly, there used to be a bar at the top of the screen when a track was playing to show how far through the tranc you were. It also allowed you to fast forward and rewind through the track. This has gone.
Also, along with the bar, it would tell you that track 'X' of 'X' was playing so you would know how many you had listened too and how many tracks were left. This too has gone.
One last issue. My songs dont play in album order. It seems to shuffle and I have no idea how to stop this. Any suggestions for all 3 issues? Cheers.

Tap the now playing screen to display the additional song controls. Tap again to hide them. When the additional song controls are showing, tap the shuffle control to turn shuffle on or off. Blue is shuffle on, white is shuffle off.

  • Ipod wont sync after a crash

My computer crashed. After it rebooted and fixed some problems, I get an error message stating I need to reload Ipod software. Will I loose all my media if I reload programs. I have many many tunes & do not want to have to rip my life away again.

The answer is you shouldn't but it doesn't come with a guarantee, which is why you have iTunes backed up, right ?
If you don't do it now.
Putting a copy of the music file on your desktop will save you grief if something goes wrong and you'll have a full up-to-date file to use as back up (I recommend and external hard drive ) in case you haven't got one already.
You can delete the file on the desktop when you're done.

  • Ipod wont stop saying "connect to itunes"

Hi, i connected my ipod touch 5th gen to itunes. I was perfectly fine all working. I updated it to the latest IOS (6.0.1) I think. Anyway it updated successfully however it still says to connect it to itunes on the ipod. Ive tried to restore the ipod many times and nothing happends. Ive restarted the ipod by pressing the two buttons and turning it back on but it still comes up with the same message.
Is there anyway i can get rid of it?
The picture of the above is what comes up on itunes.
    Thanks!

    Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Last, try restoring on another computer.

  • Ipod wont stop synching in itunes

After installing the new software my ipod touch won't stop synching every few times I change songs in a playlist from my ipod or if I try and change the audio levels of a song, it just starts synching and everything is taking forever because of this.

    Have you tried here:

  • IPod wont stop "Determining Song Volume"

I haven't had the "Sound Check" button selected ever. I've checked 3 times since this started and it still isn't checked. How can I stop this from happenening whenever I connect my iPod?
    Thanks for the help!

To turn off your iPod: press and hold the "PLAY/PAUSE" button for a few seconds.
If it doesn't work, then reset your iPod a few times (click here), click around on the menus a bit, then try shutting it off with the play/pause button.

  • Ipod wont stop turning on and off

The weirdest thing just happened. I was updating my ipod and then i unplugged it; not doing anything differently than i normally do. Now it keeps turning on and off, but it's not going to the main display page. It gives me the apple logo and then turns off and on again. I tried plugging it back in the computer and that didn't work, and i tried shutting it down and that didn't work either. What should I do?

Try to put it into disk mode

  • HELP!!!! iPod wont stop resetting!!!

So today I went somewhere with my family and my iPod died out on me. When I resetted it while in the car, it showed a picture of a little sad iPod with "x's" for the eyes and an exclamation mark next to it. I thought by simply recharging it, the problem would be solved. When I got home and I recharged it for a bout twenty minutes on an iHome dock, I pulled it off the charger. Then it just started resetting itself over and over and over again until the battery died. I plugged it in my computer and a screen showed up on the iPod that said, "Please wait. Very low battery." It has a little wheel type thing that is moving which means it's not frozen. But it's been on 'low battery' for the past 7 hours when it only takes an iPod to be fully charged in 4 hours. When I unplugged it from the USB, it started to continuously reset again without me holding down the required buttons. HELP ANYONE?!?

I was reading that article earlier in the evening. However, it didn't really help much. I think I probably just need to take it in to the Apples store or something to get it checked out.
