IPod wont work anymore?

I have been using my 5th generation iPod fine with my iMac for a couple of months now but it suddenly stoped hooking in. now a message says that my power is too low and I need a USB 2.0 port, but the problem is I've been using it and it has worked fine. What should I do?

I seem to have the same difficulty. ipod (5th generation) was docked into my Altec Lansing iM7, this afternoon I removed it from the dock and the screen was blank. I plugged it in for aproximately 1 hour and the screen remains blank.
I understand that a light will come on the screen (for three seconds) indicating that the battery is dead, if in fact the battery is dead. So, I assume that there is another problem that I am not quite understanding.
Is there anyone who can send me in the appropriate direction.
(I am letting the ipod rest for a while before I attempt to charge it again…)

Alright so I have a ipod touch 1st generation nd last night I was playing on it, listening to music and when I locked it, the music still played but the "slide to unlock" didn't light up like it usually does. Then, when I did slide it, the pass code wouldn't work at, it acted like it felt the numbers being touched but they didn't show up on the lock. Now, I tried to turn it off and it won't turn off at all. I'm trying to restore it, but is it going to help it? My brother dropped it on tile, but it was like two feet off the ground, and its been through worse and I find it hard to believe that this is what broke it.

I had to change my hard drive, now i'v tried to reinstall itunes, it is saying i have to restore my ipod touch to factory settings, will i loose all my films by doing this, as now my ipod wont work anyway unless i restore ?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your device manually before syncing, you can restore from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Here's how to:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your ipod to your computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.

Itunes wont work anymore...error 7

My itunes wont work anymore on my latop, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it but when i try to get in to my itunes and error 7 message will pop up saying that it was installed incorrectly and ive installed it several times to find the same thing happening. I dont know what to do anymore so if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it a lot!!!

I got an upgrade iTunes request from Apple. And upgraded. I should never have done that. Now it says that "iTunes is not properly installed". Other strange messages are also coming up, like missing .dll files etc.
I have deleted all Apple programs. Used Revo Uninstall that also deletes registry files and left over files. I have used ByeiTunes and Registry mechanic. I have used everything that is suggested on this site:

After doing all this, I got the same error message. So what wrong with Apple? When you have bought the product, you are left out in the dark. I have given up. Synchronizing the calendar with Outlook I can do manually, pictures that I have downloaded to my phone, I can access directly, and pictures taken by the phone I have to send to myself through e-mail. Music I never download using iTunes.
I have had enough. After this and after Apple has changed the plug that leaves me with 8 useless chargers and stands, there will be Samsung next time. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bits.

my touch screen on my ipod isnt working anymore i tried to do a hard reset where i hold all the buttons for 10 seconds and went on itunes to restore it and that didnt work what are my other options?

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

I have a problem with my L500-128 Satellite.
After upgrading Windows Vista(64bit) to Windows 7 home(64bit) my FN button wont work anymore.
I installed the Toshiba Value Added Package and Flash Cards supports utility and it still doesnt work.

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain a known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
It is also completely possible that the impact has caused physical damage.

the switch on the side is not for changing from noise to vibrate. It is a mute switch to turn sound off. For vibrate go to settings>sounds and then look at the first two switches and chose the settings you want for them

I need these Devices because they are my only network access via the Asix USB to Ethernet Adapter.
After the installation I have compiled and used the drives for the Asis adapter.
The both other devices are my USB Keyboard and Mouse.
2. My other problem is, that after the update my resulution of my console is very weak, this is just bad but not a real problem, I can live with that.

my ipod sounds fine with the headphones and with other speakers, but as soon as i put it on my ihome it wont work, yet it still will charge on there it just wont play music. plz help!

Like I said my ipod touch built in speakers wont work now yesterday I was able to hear and use them when I was using the pianist app from the itunes store and it worked fine and today I redownloaded the digidrummer lite app since my old one for some reason didnt work and once I did download the app I synced to my ipod and tried to play and noticed that no sound came out so I tried other apps and also my music and also no sound. with headphones connected it works fine sound comes out and all.

K, so last night I tried the home+sleep/wake button hold thing and reset it that way and also just normal shutoffs which didnt fix it and also tried the ideas that you guys said and no go. everynow and then it would make the sound when I unlock it. so i just left it on and let the battery die see if that would do something it got to 10% and shuts off i guess so then i charged it on my stereo system with an ipod dock and was listening to music then i disconected it and to my suprise it started playing through the internal speakers again. I was skeptical at first so I turned it off and tried again it worked. so i went to the app that I think caused the problem in the first place called digidrummer lite I was able to hear the drums tom toms etc went to the home menu tried again played that app once more but this time there was no sound. I went to my music and everynow and then it would play but fade out or not play at all. so I took digidrummer off and so far the speakers are working again but I will still need to test them more.

I need serious help D:! ok so i have succesfully synced music onto my ipod b4 but i wanted more songs so i was syncing music onto my ipod touch once again and once the sync was almost finished it said something about an error and then when i unplugged my ipod all of my songs that i had 1st put on my ipod were gone D:! after that my ipod stopped showing up on itunes on one of my computers so i switched to the other and it started doing the same thing. i came on here and was told it might be because itunes wasnt up to date so i updated itunes and my ipod but after the update, during the time when it was backing up software i think, another error popped up and said something about how the session had timed out, my internet connection is fine to so it wasnt that. after that another error popped up saying i needed to restore my ipod back to its factory settings and i said ok but another error always pops up saying the sesion timed out of something! now my ipod is like it was when i first got it! the screen shows the end of a usb cord pointed at the itunes sign! ive tried turning it off but it wont work! and when i try to hook it up to itunes on either off my computers it doesnt show up in itunes and a message from windows pops up and says "Found new hardware: Windows needs to install driver software for your apple mobile device (Recovery mode)" please help me i cant even do anything at all with my ipod right now! The Internet provider might have too many people using the Internet than what the particular servers are setup for. Or your computer just needs to reset. Try restarting your computer. Also do a hard reset on the iPod. Hold the power button and wake button down until you see the apple logo come on. Let go. Then let the ipod finish bopting up . Then restore your iPod as a new iPod, NOT from the backup.

Elan Sayso/Tempo Multimedia TTS? - Ipod wont work with itunes

What does this mean?
I can put my itunes on fine and I can plug in my ipod nano 16gb...but seperately only. If I have itunes on and plug in my ipod then 'Elan Sayso/Tempo Multimedia TTS Server has stopped working' and I have to shut down itunes as it has froze.
Ive tried what apple have suggested so itunes has been uninstalled etc and my 3rd generation ipod nano works fine but it just wont work for my 5th generation.
Please help - also I am not that clever with computers so you may have to dumb it down! Many thanks

Why won't my nike and iPod app work anymore

Why won't my Nike+iPod app work on my iPod touch anymore? I just get a red screen then it closes. Anyone have an idea why this happens. It work fine not to long ago but I went to use it today and it's not working.

If yu still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
