Ipw2200 intel wireless problem

Okay i got everything working pretty well with netcfg and ipw2200 drive ecept one thing. If there is not network activity on the wireless card then it goes to sleep. Then once i go to google.com it takes forever ot load up because the card has to start up again. The hole time it stays connected but it seems like the card goes to sleep. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Have the same card
02:06.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection (rev 05)
and runs perfectly here, never had any problem with linux. I also use netcfg2 ... Do you have some kind of powersaving enabled? What does
iwconfig
show?

  • Mac Mini Intel Wireless Problem

I just bought an Intel Mac Mini and experienced extremely poor wireless connection to my home network. The signal would start out strong and then fluctuate and become so weak as to not support a connection at all.
I, of course, consulted the vast world of info (www) and found this is a common problem (particularly with this model). I tried some of the suggested fixes (reorientation, antenna disconnected, etc.), but no dice.
However, while the case was open I powered-up the Mini and discovered that I had a much more stable connection. Seems maybe the case shielding (even though cutout for the antennai) might be blocking reception.
Has anyone tried an external antenna (whip) with one of these things? If so, which one(s)?
I also have a 12" Powerbook (1.33), iMac G5, Mac Mini G4 and various PeeCee laptops that connect to my wireless network anywhere in the house with a good consistent signal.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the suggestions DP.
The settings are the same as for the dozens of other computers that have connected to our wireless, and the mini has been connected with no other computers on the wireless which made no difference (and rightfully shouldn't).
I've actually solved that issue by removing the case - what I'm really asking about is external anntenas. Or case mods.
    Thanks

  • Wireless Problem in windows 7 intel wifi link 5100agn

i bought a dv7 1270us laptop in january. everything was fine until the last 3 months i started having small problems in vista. it would take 10+ minutes to connect and the speed would go up and down. then i installed windows 7 and am either having problems with the card or driver but ive tried every driver i can find and nithing has worked.. the wireless drops randonly. when it drops it doesnt lose connection the signal drops all the way down to one bar and i get maybe 10Kbps of bandwith well it takes 2 minutes to load a page of this forum atleast. When it drops it also only drops for maybe 5-10 minutes or else it stays like that until i restart but resarting always fixes it tempoparily for 10 minutes or so. toaday i tried to disconnect and reconnect to my network. as soon as i cicked connect i got a blue screen it pointed torwards netw5v64.sys i have tried re installing the drivers multiple times and the problem isnt resolved. i have sent the laptop in twice in the last 2 months one for the blue ray drive and wireless problems i am having now. they sent it back with a new blue ray drive and a new antenna for my wireless saying the card was fina it was a driver and maybe a new antenna would help with connectivity. well they were wrong. i got it back and it started overheating to 90+ degrees celcius and wireless problems were still there even though they re-imaged the hard drive so all drivers should be perfect.so i sent it back again. now i just got it back and they cleaned the heatsink and completely ignored my wireless problems. the sheet that states the repairs that were done has a circle aroubd cleaned heatsink/fan and thats it n comments or anything. then to make the icing on the cake there is a 3 inch long fairly deep scrath on my laptop i take verygood care of all of my laptops so that i can sell them used for more than a scratched up one. i am very disappointed in hp and almost dont want to send it back and loose it for another week just to get it back without anything being done again i am almost certain they would re0image the hard drive again and send it back since they didnt even do that the second time. okay back on topic is there anything anyone has heard t fix this so i dont have to send it in again. any help is appreciated

Intel! They make processors and a variety of motherboard hardware, but they seem to have a devil of a time making decent drivers. Particularly with their wireless NICs. Lately I’ve noticed a number of errors springing from the Intel WiFi Link 5100/5300 AGN family of wireless adapters. They seem to cause random bluescreen errors on Windows Vista systems. Fortnuately, there is a viable workaround:
-Right click on Computer and select Manage.
-After Computer Management opens up, go to Device Manager.
-In Device Manager, expand the Network Adapters category.
-Right-click on “Intel (R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN” and select Properties.
-In Properties, go to the Power Management tab.
-Under the Power Management tab, make sure that “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” is unchecked.
Apparently, the driver for the WiFi Link 5100 can’t properly handle the device going to sleep, and pulls down the whole system. Hopefully Intel will fix this in future driver updates. Until then, this workaround will have to do.

  • Problems connecting on Wireless 802.11n with my T61 with Intel Wireless AGN

Hi, I live in Thailand and have a similar problem as others with my Intel Wireless AGN connection as others.  I have a D-Link Model DSL-2740B Rangebooster N ADSL2/2+ Modem Router. It is supposed to support 802.11n draft wireless connections of up to a maximum of 270 MBPS versus 54 MBPS for 802-11G wireless. Of course, I don't expect it to reach the maximum transfer speed, particularly here in Thaiand, however I would expect it to produce results better than the 54 MBPS rate for 802-11G. I first tried it on my ThinkPad T61 which incorporates Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN. When connected, it shows a speed of 54MBPS (802-11G) instead of higher wireless 802-11n speeds. I've upgraded my router to the latest firmware and have tried different configurations with no improvement in performance. One think I have noted is that when I make an on-line configuration change to my router configuration then select "apply", immediately my ThinkPad rate changes to 150 MBPS momentarily then my connection is lost (to be expected as the router changes are being implemented), followed by reconnection of wireless signal only to return at 54 MBPS again. I also have an older ThinkPad model without built-in wireless capability so I purchased a Belkin wireless 802.11n USB adapter to connect to my router. Again, the maximum connection is at 54 MBPS. When I repeat configuration changes to my router as I did above, my ThinkPad connection momentarily changes to only 1 MBPS instead of 150 MBPS as in my other T61 ThinkPad then reverts back to 54 MBPS once the configuration changes have been completed. Has anyone successfully used wireless 802.11n successfully at the higher transfer rates (above 54 MBPS)? Is it possible that my TOT Goldcyber connection speed is artificially limited? I notice that my rated speed for my desktop computer connected to my same D-Link DSL-2740B only indicates a rated speed of 100 MBPS. I use Vista Home Premium 64-bit on my destop, Vista Home Premium 32-bit on my ThinkPad T61, but us Windows XP Professional on my older ThinkPad. I feel that my problem is either with my ADSL carrier (TOT) or compatibility with my D-Link DSL-2740B Modem Router and my ThinkPad T61 internal wireless card and/or Belkin wireless n USB adapter. IT-City is letting me swap out the Belkin USB for the D-Link Rangebooster n DWA-140 USB adapter next week when they restock. The only other think that I can think of is that wireless n just doesn't work in Thailand and that maybe I should just stick with wireless G and go with a higher powered wireless USB model such as the business rated EmGenius EUB 362 EXT. Has anyone used this model and had good success with it; I've heard that it is a long range model and has the capability of reaching 108 MBPS through some sort of magic? Looking forward to reading your replies and possible solution.

    Hi!
Intel Wi-Fi cards support full 802.11n speed of 300 Mb/s working at 5 GHz range only. Your D-Link DSL-2740B works only in 2.4 GHz range. So to get 300 Mb/s you have to get another wi-fi router that supports 802.11n in both 2.4 and 5 GHz, for instance Lynksys WRT610N or Apple Airport Extreme or whatever.

  • Problem arised after updated the intel wireless lan

    Hello, everyong
My laptop is T510. I just updated the intel wireless lan to the version of 15.02.0000.1258. After the updates, my wireless router was down when the laptop started. Initially it can connect to the router for a few seconds, then the router was down with all the lights going off except the power light. Once I restart the router, everything goes fine, my laptop is able to connect to the router without any problems. So I have to restart the router everytime when I start my laptop. Please help me. How to fix this problem?

Why do you have to restart the router.
Have you checked the computer WiFi profile? Why or what is not allowing the connection.
You could delete the computer profile in Access or whatever you're using and discover, reconnect to it again as if its the first time. It may resolve the issue which is unknown.

  • Intel wireless iwl3945 does not work after kernel upgrade?

My wireless ethernet will not longer connect to access points. I am on a Toshiba Tecra M5-S4332 running kernel 2.6.39.2-1 with linux-firmware 20110512-2 installed. This problem seemed to have started once I upgraded the kernel from 2.6.39.1-1, but I have tried downgrading (back to 2.6.38) and upgrading (to 3.0-rc6) the kernel to no avail. Other possibly relevant packages that were upgraded at that system upgrade were module-init-tools (3.13-1 -> 3.16-1), mkinitcpio (0.6.14-1 -> 0.6.15-1), nvidia-utils (270.41.19-1 -> 275.09.07-1), nvidia (270.41.19-3 -> 275.09.07-1), and netcfg (2.5.5-1 -> 2.6.1-1).

    EDIT: SOLVED
Solution: I feel sort of silly. I had mistaken my wifi switch for some sort of card eject/lock switch. Oh well, live and learn I suppose....
Hello I am having a similar problem. I tried to manually bring up my wireless device with the "ifconfig wlan0 up" but I get the following error:
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not possible due to RF-kill
After some research I found a suggestion to install rfkill and ensure the following line was uncommented in /etc/conf.d/rfkill
    RFKILL_UNBLOCK="all"
Then add rfkill to my /etc/rc.d/conf under daemons and restart. Despite this I still get the same error when I try to run the ifconfig command.
    Here is my demsg output:

  • Intel Wireless Card doesn't work with Linksys?

My wired computer works great with the WRT54GX2, but my wireless cannot hold a signal for very long. Support says they can't help me because I have a Intel wireless card. Intel does not support for that card anymore and I can't see where to buy a Linksys card. Please, help.

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

  • Intel Wireless-N 7260 Slow Internet Speed - Solved (Win 8.1 64-bit, Wireless N @ 2.4GHz)

Obviously there are numerous factors that can affect speed. But if you have reason to believe it's just your laptop try the configuration below. Worked for me. Good Luck.
    Laptop:
    Lenovo Ideapad Y510P, Windows 8.1 64-bit.
    Internet Connection:
Comcast Xfinity Blast advertised at 50Mbps.
    Network Environment:
Home Wifi, Linksys E1500 Router Wireless N @ 2.4 GHz. Firmware Version: 1.0.06
Apartment Building, ~15 visible other Wifi networks.
Devices with 15 feet of router.
    Problem Symptoms:
Download speeds of 2-3 Mbps. Upload speeds were typically much higher, around 10Mbps as should be expected.
    Control Reference:
    ~50Mbps using ethernet cable.
Older Laptop getting ~45Mbps over Wifi.
    Solution:
From what I gathered, the problem with the card happens on Wireless N 2.4MHz routers.
    Driver version : 17.13.2.2
    File : Wireless_17.13.2_De164.zip
Downloaded from : http://goo.gl/S3HOCL (Intel download page. URL was too long to post)
Installation : Unzip to a folder, Run the DPInst64.exe application - does a 'simple' driver install. No Bloatware / fluff.
Device Settings: I'm listing only the values that I changed along the way.
    Device Manager > Network Adapters > Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260 > Properties > Advanced.
    802.11n Channel Width for 2.4GHz : Auto
Ad Hoc Qos Mode : WMM Disabled
HT Mode : HT Mode (ie ON. You need this for Wireless N. If Disabled you can only connect to Wireless b/g/mixed)
    Roaming Aggressiveness : 1. Lowest
Throughput Booster : Enabled (Not sure if this is necessary. It's an optional feature giving priority over other devices)
    Transmit Power : 3. Medium
U-APSD Support : Disabled (According to numerous posts, this is critical)
    Wireless Router Wireless Settings:
    Network Mode : Wireless-N Only
Channel Width : 20 MHz Only. (My only other option is 'Auto (20 MHz or 40 MHz). On 'Auto...' every device I have really slows).
Channel : Auto (I had this set to '3' since day one to avoid the channels other Routers in my building are using. Defintely noticed improvement but it seems its not necessary with this configuration. Could be due to other networks not being used at the time of testing. I'm keeping an eye on this).
Bluetooth Network Connection (Personal Area Network):
    Disabled
(I have a running bluetooth mouse which is not affected by disabling this)
    Result:
    Testing duration 6 hours, ~ 10 times.
For the settings. most likely there's some that are not necessary. But after working on this for 3 days, I'm not changing anything for the time being.
    Blurb:
I'm posting this to hopefully help others who have this issue. Researching the problem I found numerous lengthy fourm threads filled with frustrated users...one on Intel's support site was 18 pages long with literally months of posts with several users discussing a class action lawsuit...enough said.
I tried pretty much all the posted solutions, lots of different driver versions, device settings, router settings. There's so much misinformation out there it's not funny. Eventually I called Lenovo Tech Support who tried simialr things and momentarily got it a bit better and wanted to say it was fixed. I hung on a kept testing the slow speed soon returned. Then they tried all the usual nonsense and excuses and gave up, passing me off to "Premium Support:" who wanted to charge me to investigate the problem. The "premium" techs were really poor and sounded like a bunch of clueless hacks just trying to get you to pay for the service while simultaneously throwing in gems like "how far is your laptop from the router...that can affect your speed"...anyway, forget that I thought.
When I first got the Lenovo Ideapad Y510P last year I had the same or similar issue. I don't recall how I fixed it then but I got it to ~20-30Mbps. While well below my older laptop's speed it was perfectly adequate. That was last August. Earlier this year there was an update for Intels stuff in a Windows update. I think the problem started again with that although I'm not 100% sure. Certainly I didn't manually install new drivers or change anything on my network set-up.

Intel Wireless-N 7260 works at only 2.4Ghz. Refer the specifications of this wireless card:

  • Ideapad Flex 15 wireless problem

My wireless internet frequently cuts off showing the no connectivity image at the bottom right hand corner.
I have updated the driver and even uninstalled it, though it did not help in both cases.
I uninstalled most of the software that came with notebook, such as McAfee anti-virus and other programs that may affect my wireless connection.
I can regain internet access by simply disconnecting and reconnecting, however this is not a long term solution.
Windows doesn't seem to attempt to reconnect either.
I tried most of the common methods and I'm seeking some other ideas.
I'm using Windows 8.1 and I've also experienced this problem with Windows 8.
In addition, I've tried three different wireless internet connections; I don't believe it to be a router problem.
The hardware is: Intel Wireless-N 7260

Try to use the driver here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS036494
If that drivers don't work, it might be because you upgraded to 8.1. Try the Yoga 2 Pro's drivers instead since they both share the same WiFi card: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS037481

  • BT Sport Connection to TV via Intel Wireless Disp...

Has anyone been able to successfully connect the BT Sport online player to their TV using Intel® Wireless Display (Intel® WiDi) on Windows 8.1 on their pc/laptop. When I try the player immediately stops and shows the error codes 6025 and VC019. I have tried the various suggestions I have read on the Forums and BT Help such as re-setting the clock and unticking and ticking the "Enable download and updates to components required for protected content playback" tab in Playback on Silverlight but all to no avail.
Or is it just a case that BT blocks screen mirroring, like 4oD for example, on their online player. I would have doubted this though as I have a tablet with Miracast and can mirror the BT Sport App to my TV. However there is quite a lot of buffering and picture break up. That is why I wanted to use Intel® Wireless Display from my laptop in the hope that these picture issues would be resolved. I appreciate that I can use an HDMI lead but it does rather defeat the option of having Intel® Wireless Display.
Any help or comments on this issue would be very much welcomed. Thanks

Hi pottyperson Thanks for getting back to me. As a last resort as it works with your Windows 8 I have tried yet again to connect my laptop to my TV by both HDMI lead and by Intel® Wireless Display. And I have finally found the problem. It lies with the Intel® WiDi and not the HDMI port. If I connect my laptop to my TV using the Intel® WiDi the BT Sports stream immediately cuts out. And then if I connect the HDMI lead it still cuts out. I have discovered that I need to actually go into the Devices Settings on my laptop and disconnect the Intel® WiDi Display (my TV). Then if I re-connect my laptop to the TV by the HDMI lead only then hey presto it works!!! So you are right in saying that it probably had nothing to do with the HDMI DRM issue so yet again I have been given duff information by BT Sport Technical Support. It must be clearly down to Intel® WiDi compatability issues. I can live with that. The performance is better anyway using an HDMI lead rather than wirelessly as there is no lag or picture break-up.
If however anyone else has actually got Intel® WiDi to work with BT Sport I would be interested to hear from you. Thanks

  • Intel Wireless Display not installing on W530

I noticed recently that Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) was not installed on my W530, despite my recollection of installing it via Lenovo Update.  So I tried downloading the latest version both from Lenovo (3.5) and directly from Intel (4.0), but neither will install on my system.  During the install, I get a message saying "This platform is not compatible with Intel WiDi or the application is in use. Please see the log for more details."  Now, since I have an Intel i7 CPU with HD 4000 integrated graphics and an Intel wireless card (Centrino Ultimate 6300), my system meets the system requirements for WiDi.  i have also updated the Intel PROSet wireless software to the most recent version, as recommended by Intel's website.
Kaso suggested on the Notebook Review forums that this could happen if I clean installed Windows instead of booting from the Lenovo-supplied OEM image, since there may be specific registry keys or values that signify the system supports WiDi.  As i did clean-install Windows, I'm wondering if anyone knows what those specific registry keys or values might be, so I can add them in.
And if anyone has a different idea why WiDi won't install on my system, I'd appreaciate your input as well.  Thank you.
Thinkpad W530, i7-3720QM, 1920x1080 screen, 32GB RAM, dual SSDs (Samsung 830, Crucial M4 mSATA), Quadro K2000M, 9-cell battery, DVD burner, backlit keyboard, Bluetooth, Intel 6300 wireless card

I have had a number of difficulties with Intel WIDI aswell on my W530. And I will give you a few recommendations.
I recently clean installed my windows and used the Lenovo update tool to install and update all drivers. Then I installed the WIDI app from the lenovo page (3.5 something). Then it works like a charm. My windows reinstall is some coorporate reinstall. So it is not Lenovo generic windows.
You cannot install WIDI for some reason if you have your computer connected to any monitors or in the dock. I think it has something to do with the installer having difficulties with recognizing the Intel HD 4000 when you are at the same time using the NVIDIA GPU.
I have tried a lot of different combinations/versions of WIDI, Intel proset and HD4000 drivers before the reinstall and not all of them work. First I updated all the drivers and it did not work, then I rolled back the drivers and it still did not work. Finally I got it to work after hours of work. But I do not remember what versions I used when it did finally work. After the windows reinstall everything works.
    I am using:
    Intel WIDI 3.5.40
    Intel HD 4000: 9.17.10.2843
    Intel Proset: 15.6.1.0
I am very hesitant upgrading any of the drivers/apps because I fear it will cause problems with WIDI.
Let me know if you have any questions. Perhaps I am able to answer those.
I should perhaps mention that WIDI is not exactly the perfect technology. I have a brand new LG TV with WIDI, but I still encounter pixelations and other stuff once in a while, but I think it has something to do with my router (which is in another room) and a lot of WIFI noise in my apartement building with a lot of different WIFI connections.
A moment ago I launched WIDI to look for the version number and this is what I saw. So perhaps I need to update something today. I will look into it when I get home where my TV is.

  • T60 WLAN COMPLETELY GONE after installing latest Update Intel Wireless WiFi Link for Windows XP

I just reinstalled a T60 from scratch TWICE  to the point of updating  - Intel Wireless Wifi Link for Windows XP -
Just after that very latest Update (3.1.1.1 or so?)  there is no WLAN possible and I had to find out, that  a system restore is impossible either! (Simply does not work and asks me to get another point and try again)
I have a full backup done by acronis 2010 so that does not bother me so very much.
The point is that I like to WARN everybody to install that Update to their T60  e.g. 2008YWJ !!!
    (contains 3945AGB WLAN Module!)
After Updating U HAVE NO CHANCE TO REPAIR IT! U get always the problem signature
    szAppName: AcSvc.exe  szAppVer: 5.6.1.33  szModName: PfMgrApi.dll
    szModVer : 13.0.0.2  offset: 000d4912
and the System wants to report that stuff to MicroSoft...again and again...every time u
    start AccessConnections.
U can DEinstall AccessConnections and Intel Wireless Wifi Link for XP completely, reboot
and REinstall it....just 2 get the same messages and NO WLAN anymore.
I could not get out of this Driver Installation Hell until I did a complete Recovery Install and
I got back to Hell when System Update REinstalled Intel Wireless WiFi Link for XP
    automagically...;-(((
And again NO CHANCE to roll back, No chance to get rid of that annoying bug. This time I have an ACRONIS-Image so I can spare some time....
Somebody shoud really CHECK this, because it should not be possible to break down an completely NICE RUNNING Thinkpad THIS WAY just by updating it! As it took me abaout 12 Hours of Administration by now I
really would apreciate to help whomever to find out what the hell is responsible 4 this !!!
Why is XP System Restore not working on an T60 to roll back to Point b4 installation of this Update???
(I could  not use that Thinkvantage-System Recovery because it did not even get all its updates by the
time the system went in limbo during install! What i defintely can say is that it breaks at exactely
same point when Intel Wifi Updates is installed...
I do my Acronis Restore now and try 2 avoid this Update....;-(
if anybody KNOWS how to get that system 2 an earlier point of an install orgy i whould be thankful to get that information...
    I am keeping alive 12 Thinkpads here R40 R50 T42 T43 T60 T61p T400 T500 and  NEVER
experienced problems like this in many  years!
    cheers
        GAL9000

    gal9000, welcome to the forum,
have you tried running windows system restore from safe mode? It usually works then because some anti-virus softwares will prevent it from running successfully from "normal" windows.
    Hope this helps.

  • Wireless problem since installing new drivers z61p

I recently restored back to factory default for everything. Then happily headed over to lenovo drivers to download all new drivers for my Z61p (win xp) .
    got my sound running
    downloaded intel wireless driver
got new access conections (since i was having a problem where the wireless would not switch on [using the Fn + F5..it just would not switch on] - managed to get it to now switch on at least)
however now when i  switch my machine on i get an error message saying intel wireless management has to shut down - do i want to send an error report (i did..no response yet..if ever)?
    then
access conections tells cant link to the wireless router..it simply finds nothing when i tell it to look for a network - never mind actually link to my preset office router
digging a bit below the surface
intel wants to report that i have the wrong driver installed (so i went back to the drivers site and downloaded again and installed again..no joy)
as does access conections..(did the same re install...no joy)
Do i have the wrong drivers?
    the site i used was:http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-64278
then for intel the one called:
    Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg, 2915abg, 3945bg, 3945abg, 4965ag, 4965agn Mini PCI adapter
    and then:
    ThinkVantage Access Connections
    am i being"dumb"?
any help/ advice welcome.."other than just run the install file again"
is there another source of drivers i could use?

    Got this sorted.

  • Intel Wireless N-1030: Bluetooth slows down WiFi

I own a Dell L702x which has the Intel Wireless N-1030 which is a combined Wi-Fi & Bluetooth device. Today, I connected a Bluetooth speaker to the laptop, which worked wonderfully, although the Wi-Fi was slowing down when the laptop was transmitting to the speaker (i.e. when the speaker was playing music). I haven't used the Bluetooth adapter for ages, so I don't know if this problem is recent or not. Has any of you had already a similar problem with this particular adapter or any other?

    Hi,
In addition, please try the previous version of  this drivers to check the result.

  • Intel wireless chipset clients random Citrix disconnects

Currently using intel 5100 & 6200 client cards on multiple driver versions. WiSM is 7.0.116. APs are 1250 and 1260 series. Citrix is setup to send server-side keepalives for session reliability. Randomly, several times a day the client will get disconnected from the Citrix application session but maintain connectivity to the AP and other applications continue to work. Traces show the server-side keepalive reach the controller but are delayed from controller to client by 5-6 seconds. Just enough time for the Citrix server to timeout and tear down to session. Additional testing shows the delay most likely occurs somewhere from controller to AP. It occurs on multiple controllers on multiple campuses.
We have Dell/Broadcom clients that don't experience the problem. The only commonality seems to be the Intel cards. Any ideas? CCX? I know Intel has a special relationship with Cisco regarding CCX and have developed features not available on other cards. Tried disabling power save and other CCX features but hasn't solved the issue. Any ideas are appreciated on this very strange problem.
    Thanks!
Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

Update to this issue. I've found the 5 second delay actually is occurring on the AP. Packets traverse normally through the entire network but randomly delayed at the AP. TAC is looking at it but no cause found yet. Also verified this seems to occur only with Intel wireless chipsets. Others (Broadcom etc.) don't experience the problem.
