First of all CLARIFY whether you are creating Business Service object or Business System object in ID.
If Business Service, then kindly follow the suggestion of Sohail.
Also you can check more details about Business Service in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fe/131eb4ef2fb344abf471c9eac0063a/content.htm
here you will also find how to add interfaces.

    Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up.
    Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
    Without the query that you are using it will be hard to troubleshoot this issue but my guess is that the PC that belong to those AD site have not yet be inventoried. Check your Heartbeat and Hardware inventory.

  • Account of the opportunity is not populated after the creation of a task

    Hi,
    In our project, we are using the Opportunity Object after the creation of a task. Our tasks are always related to an existing account.
    I was wondering why when I create an opportunity from a task, the field "Account Name" is not populated by default with the account name related to the task.
    Any ideas?

  • Name Space in Webservice Response is not parsed in BI Publisher

    Hi,
    I have built the report in BI Publisher with Data Source as Web Service by giving WSDL URL and method Name. I have got the response for the method call, but it has name space for all tag elements. Like
    <ns:FirstName>Daniel</ns:FirstName>
    <ns:LastName>Victor</ns:LastName>
    My report template unable to pick the value from tags as it is taking Name Space also as tag name. It is not parsing name spaces. I tried another report by keeping file as my report source, just by removing the name spaces from the WSDL response message, it worked.
    How do I make BI Publisher to parse the name space, such that WSDL response can be utilized as such?

    I also get the same problem, this is very tedious but if you edit the song somehow and re-save it then it will copy. Not sure what the problem is at all, tried contacting Apple about this to no avail.

  • Virtual Characteristic value not populating in the query output

    Hi Experts,
    I am new to BAPI and I am using this to populate the values of virtual characteristics.
    I wrote the below code to populate if an order status got some status value then i need to populate the flag y if not n.
    I got the order value in the reprot. I need to go to order master data and should get the status and then i have to do the comparision and populate the flag zww_teco in the report.
    The below is the compute method of my implementation class.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS :
    <fs_0cs_order> TYPE ANY,
    <fs_zww_teco> TYPE ANY,
    <fs_status>  TYPE ANY.
    if p_cha_0cs_order > 0.
      ASSIGN COMPONENT p_cha_0cs_order OF STRUCTURE C_S_DATA to <fs_0cs_order>.
    endif.
    if p_cha_zww_teco > 0.
      ASSIGN COMPONENT p_cha_zww_teco OF STRUCTURE C_S_DATA to <fs_zww_teco>.
    endif.
    Select single /BIC/ZSYSTATUS
        from /BI0/PCS_ORDER into <fs_status>
       where CS_ORDER = <fs_cs_order>.
    if <fs_status> CP 'TECO'.
      <fs_zww_teco> = 'Y'.
    else.
        <fs_zww_teco> = 'N'.
    endif.
    But I am not sure why the values are not populated. But when i debug , i could see the values for
    P_cha_0cs_order = 35
    p_cha_zww_teco = 54
    But i could get the values of <fs_0cs_order>, <fs_zww_teco> after assign component statement.
    And it is firing me a dump in select statement. Also when I click c_s_data i am getting S____274, S____505 fields like that in the structure but i could see p_cha_0cs_order
    Can you please guide where i am missing ...
    Thanks

    Hi Sushant,
      RSRT --> Enter Query Name
    Click on Technical Information --> If " Virtual Char./Key Figures " = Y
    In my case , even then i clciked generate report,
    even after that P_CHA_0CS_ORDER = 35
    and after assign component P_CHA_0CS_ORDER of structure c_s_data to <FS_0CS_ORDER>.
    the <FS_0CS_ORDER> is nothing , here i should get the value of cs_order value of that record but it is coming empty which i am not able to rectify. How should i change or i need to put any other setting to get the value populated into my <FS_0CS_ORDER>.
    Can you please guide me .
    Thanks

  • When I enter a group name into the Bcc field and try to send the message, I get "[group name] is not a valid e-mail address..."

    Been using the same template to send a weekly newsletter for a year or two but now with a recent update to Thunderbird the group name is rejected when I try to send the message:
    With a group name in Bcc field, when I press "Send" and try to send the message, I get this alert: "[group name] is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail."

    This has been reported as [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060901 Bug #1060901]. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
    Several other people have sent in the same support request as you, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
    The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.
    '''This happens in Thunderbird 31.1.0 when your mailing list description includes several words separated by spaces.'''
    Although not ideal, these workarounds should let you use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:
    * While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
    * Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).
    * Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

  • Emails being blocked for name space mining

    Hello All
    Once of our clients email domain is blocked by Microsoft because it detected a name space mining attack coming from the public IP assigned to the client.
    We have already reported this to MS support but without any luck. All they sent are a generic script based answer asking us to rectify the issue from our end but based on the information I have I’m not sure if we can get this rectified on our end.
    Basically all this started when the client sent a mass email. They have been sending this mass email for the last 2-3 years but one this instance emails to several Hotmail users were not getting delivered and following is the start of the email delivery
    process.

    After the last of the line then the client exchange server has tried every 2 minutes for the next 2 days and eventually failed because MS blocked the IP addresses.
    Microsoft is not providing us any information and asking us to repeatedly to resolve the issue at our end but I don’t know why the exchange server never managed to deliver the email messages because all those Hotmail email addresses are legitimate and live
    email addresses.
    What does BDAT * LAST means? This is the last SMTP command sent/received before client s exchange server started a new communication attempt.
    What are the changes that we can do to the client server in order to avoid similar issues in the future?
    Thanks
    Dhanushka

    Hi,
    I am afraid you still need to contact MS support to fix this issue.

    Hi,
    I am trying to add a new LOV to a region in one of the oracle product self service pages.
    I am getting the LOV region displayed, but the moment I add lov mappings I am gettting the invalid name space error.
    Your help on this is highly appreciated. For your reference I am attaching the error below.

    Which version are you using? I believe that adding regions started from CU2. Confirm this.
    Did you set the profle FND:OA Enable Defaults? This may not be the cause for your error but I got some LOV map errors because of this. There is a thread in the forum on this.
    Ensure that your path and spelling are correct. The error shows ...CostPG. Should it be ...RN perhaps? LOV Regions are usually called RN.
    If all else fails open a tar.

  • Message type is not populating in the Inbound idoc control record

    Hi,
    I have created an Inbound Idoc function module and have done the necessary Idoc settings. But, while testing in WE19, I observed that control record is not getting populated with message type and it is dumping.
    The settings which I have done in WEDI as follows:
    1. Created Idoc segments with necessary fields and released
    2. Created Idoc type for the segment type
    3. Created message type
    4. Assigned message type to basic type
    5. In the inbound processing settings,
       filled the ALE attributes with the Idoc function module name and input value '0'
    6. Assigned FM to basic type and message type
    7. Created process code and assigned the process code to message type
    Please let me know, the reason for the message type not populating in the control record. Useful answers will be surely rewarded.
    Best Regards,
    Mallika

    Hi,
    Maintain partner profile (Transaction code WE20) for the message type you defined in WE81 and put your process code in partner profile and check your logical system settings also in transaction SALE.
    Thanks

  • User details are not populating in access request

    Hello All,
    We have configured GRC 10 with LDAP and we are able to search the users in LDAP tcode(find option) and in the access request. But when i select the user and click on ok in the access request, user information is not populating to user details tab. I have followed the SAP Standard doc and configuration is fine. When i select data source as SAP system, user details are population as expected. But when i use LDAP as data source, i am having the issue. I hope this is an field mapping issue but i tried all different options but no solution i found. Kindly help me with your expert suggestions.
    Field mapping is as follows:
    LASTNAME
    SN
    FIRSTNAME
    GIVENNAME
    USERID
    SAMACCOUNTNAME
    ROLE_NAME
    NAME
    MEMBER_OF
    MEMBEROF
    EMAIL
    MAIL
    MANAGERID
    MANAGER
    Regards,
    Jai Reddy.

    I know the path, but how to check it? is it using metaverse search?
    Look at the Runs. Are they succeeding, or failing to connect?
    Remove the Bit 17 and try again.

  • Data not populating in database

    Hi All
    I am trying to insert data into a custom table but unable to do so...
    Steps followed
    1. Created a custom table
    2. Created an EO based on the table
    3. Created a VO associated with the EO.
    4. Created AM and associated the VO with it.
    5. Created page and associated it with the AM.
    Controller Code
    public void processRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
        super.processRequest(pageContext, webBean);
        OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
        am.invokeMethod("initEmployee");

        super.processFormRequest(pageContext, webBean);
        OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);

    if("Save".equals(pageContext.getParameter("event")))
      am.invokeMethod("createEmployee");
      }AMImpl Code

                vo.insertRow(row);
            row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
        public void createEmployee()
        getTransaction().commit();
    ...A new row does get created in the table but the data columns are empty only the creation date, created by, last_updated_by etc are getting populated.
    Thanks

A: Data not populating in database

I have put the debug statement as follows:
public void createEmployee()
    EmployeeVORowImpl emp = (EmployeeVORowImpl)getEmployeeVO1().getCurrentRow();
   String name = emp.getEmployeeNumber().toString();
   System.out.println("Emp Num: " + name);
    getTransaction().commit();
    }The employee number got printed in the messages. However the row still doesnot have any data except the created by, creation date etc
