IRec : Attachment to the Approval "Request for More information"
Hi.
How can we add attachment to "Request for more information" response functionality
thanks
siva
Hi Siva,
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any such functionality at present. I am also exploring the same option and have a SR running with oracle. Shall update you if I hear otherwise.

Reassign Task and Request For More Information Option
Folks,
I would like to understand , is there a way to disable the options "Request for more information " and "Re assign Task" when a approval task is assigned to an approver in OIM 11g .
Thanks
SidI don't think so. It's part of product feature. To disable it, you may need UI customization. Or ask oracle support, may be if they can provide some tricky authorization policy for it.

Hi there,
I use visual studio community 2013 to develop app for office. When I create app project using template and directly run it, it shows me this error: Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.Hi holm0104,
Did you add custom code into the project? Can you reproduce the issue in a new project without custom code?
If not, did you have issue when you create a normal web application?
Regards & Fei

an unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. The Exception Handler gave all the info that you need. No need to print the whole stack trace.
The exception handler says

Look in the session bean (assuming that is where your underlying rowset is). Look in the _init() method for statements similar to the following:

Hi,
To analyze Lync issues I have installed these applications in my windows 7 x64 laptop
1) network monitor 3.4
2)Lync network monitor parser
3)nmdecrypt2.3
4)network monitor parser3.4
Installtion got completed successfully but when I try to start capture I get this error everytime.......
"None of the network adapters are bound to the Netmon driver. If you have just installed, you may need to log out and log back in order to obtain the proper rights to capture. Please refer to the product help for more information"
I read many technet articles and other blogs but that didn't solve this issue. I tried things like
A) Run as administrator
B) nmconfig /install in cmd
So could you please help me how I can fix this issue?
Regards,
AjitSeems our driver didn't get installed. What you see when you type "sc query nm3" from a command prompt?
Thanks,

I'm using a Mac / Leopard. Beginning about a month ago, I can no longer "save as" an image. The "Save Image As" menue comes up -- but then nothing. I can drag images onto the desktop, but that's it. I tossed out Firefox, and then downloaded it and reinstalled it, but have the same problem. (I couldn't figure out how to get rid of profiles and bookmarks -- so they remained). As I type this question on the Firefox website, I don't see the forum in front of me -- just a window to type a question. So, if you answer this question, I'm not sure I'll be able to find the answer. Thus, if you'd be so kind as to also email me the answer, that would be greatly appreciated: davidfreeman11 AT gmail.com Thanks

Please have a look and guide where to find a problem
Thanks aheadHi Hooi,
I'd like to know whether you can build successfully in your local machine with MSBuild. You have to build succeed with MSBuild beore you can build with TFS Build since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler.
From the error message, you might build with wrong platform for your project. Please check if the build platfrom is proper. If you have customization of your build process template, it would be better to elaborate the reproduce steps and customization details.

IExpenses - Answer to the request of more information for Expense Approval
Hi,
I have Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 installed. And the answer to the request of more information for Expense Approval does not appear to the approver. The "requestor" perform the reimbursement request to the "approver", and the approver requests more information through the notification sent, the requestor answer the message after that and the notification goes to the approver without any message.
Thanks,
NézioThe request for information is received properly by the employee who submitted the expenses, but their response is not received by the approver, the approver just sees the same as the original notification. This is working properly in iProcurement but not in iExpenses.
Thanks

How to trigger approval request for resources after assigning role
Hi,
We have a use case where we need to assign resources to user via assigning roles.
In order to achive this use case
1. we have created a role and assigned the access policy to it which contain the resources to be provisioned once the role is assigned to the user.
2. Created a SOA composite having manager approval and assigned this composite to a approval policy of type 'Assign Role'.
3. I am already having the approval policy for the resources which are present in roles. The approval policy of resources is of type "Provision Resource".
4. Also the SOA composite for resource apporal is deployed in OIM and assigned to the approval policy.
5. Now when I am raising the request from OIM of type "Assign Role" the approval defined in the SOA composite for Role approval gets triggered. After approving the role request the role is assigned to the user and also the resources defined in the access policy gets provisioned to teh user account.
Now I want to trigger the resource approval process after the role approval instead of directly provisioning the resources. So that once the role is approved the individual Approval Process of resources part of roles should also gets invoked. Based on the approval or rejection of resources approval, the resource gets assigned to the user.
Please let me know how to achieve the above use case.
Thanks in advanceAccess policy is saying whoever gets xyz role, will get this abc resource. Now once a user gets xyz role, you are stopping to get abc resource? both are contradictory. Don't go through access policy. User is anyway going to request for roles. Modify your flow and make user request for resource. Have your composite and approval policy attached. User will get resource once it is approved.
regards,
GP -
