I need help in understanding the below point in i Recruitment.
I was taking a look at your website and we are able to set up automatic tracking through Oracle so you know exactly how many candidates are truly coming from 3rd party advertising. Right now, tracking is manual-self select through the drop-down menu, this fix would pre-populate 3rd party as your source if the applicant started on our site.
The instructions to set up automatic tracking are below and can be sent to your Oracle Admin:
1.     Create a new Recruiting Site for abc.com within iRecruitment under Setup.------what this point means and is this same as setting the agency in system, if yest the concern 3rd party is already there in system.
2.     Query table irc_all_recruiting_sites and note the value of recruiting_site_id for abc.com
3.     Ensure that ‘Third Party Site’ is an enabled value in the REC_TYPE HR Lookup.
4.     Provide value of recruiting_site_id to abc.com to be passed as “&p_site_id=[recruiting_site_id]” in redirect URL.
Is this possible and how can it be done?
Can some one help me to understand all the above point.

Automatic track assignments importing type 1 MIDI file

Hello - I am trying to understand how Logic decides to assign tracks when importing a standard MIDI file. According to the manual:
"As a default behavior, Logic Pro will automatically create software instrument tracks for each MIDI track, and assign an appropriate GarageBand instrument to each, when you open a MIDI file".
The files I want to import consist of a few tracks, with track names describing their role, such as "bass", "pad", "lead", "drums", etc. Each track contains ONLY note-on/note-off events, and all of the notes on each track are assigned to a particular channel. (No program-changes, tempo, or any other kind of controller events, SYSEX, or meta data).
When I import the file, most tracks are automatically assigned to a software instrument, which is fine because I can then set the track to a particular channel strip performance by sending the appropriate program number to each track.
THE PROBLEM: it usually happens that one of the imported MIDI tracks will get assigned to 'No Output', instead of to some software instrument. The tracks with names "bass", "lead", "pad", and "drums" (on channels 1, 2, 4, and 5 respectively) always seem to get consistently assigned to a software instrument. But the channel 3 tracks (I've tried naming them "piano", "keys", "synth", etc) usually, though not always, get assigned to "No Output".
The reason this is a problem is that I am trying to remotely control Logic (via Applescript) from a web application, where Logic is used to automatically render MIDI data into audio. So I can't manually reassign that track, and unfortunately there seems to be no way to reassign a track via key commands, or I could accomplish that via Applescript as well.
Does anyone have any idea what criteria Logic uses when automatically assigning tracks to "suitable" software instruments, so that I can avoid having tracks end up assigned to "No Output"? Hope this question makes sense, and thanks for any guidance.

midi file 0 is one track per midi channel, midi file 1 is separate tracks. for example, if a drum track on one midi channel has each note separated to its own track midi file 0 merges them and midi file 1 keeps them separated

Client has deducted TDS @2% on Rs. 1000/- while making advance payment to vendor , then he raised invoice Rs.3000/- & now he wants to deduct tds on on remaining balance amount i.e, Rs.2000/-...is it possible that system will keep this track & deduct tax on Rs.2000/- automatically.

Yes certainly system will do
If as per your example Rs 1000 is down payment & 3000 is the final invoice.
Try to check on TDS on down payments configs

Is it possible to automate tracking info from a local db to bc?

I would love to automate our AWB and TRACKING URL from our local database into BC.
Is there a method of doing this using WebServices?
I want to send three values to BC - invoice #, AWB, and tracking URL.
Any recommendations or case studies?

You can update an order or CRM form (attached to order) via the webservices API, you can send any and all the data you need. You'll have to setup a system a middle man server (or use your existing backend) to download the order and match it to the BC order and on a timer or when the data is available from your other system update the order on BC. I've done this with for a customer and Fedex to give real time tracking numbers within 1 min of the order placed.

Automatic track order?

I have a whole lot of ripped cd's that are either old or cheap CD's I have them all on my itunes but the Track listing is out of order, for instance, it arranges songs on an album in alphabetic order, instead of by order they appear on the album, is there any software or iTunes Feature that will automatically apply song information such as this to my library, I have a TON of albums and doing it manually would take weeks

There are two ways to genearate Auto PO
I ) Auto PO thru PR by using Tcode ME59 or ME59N
prerequisites
1) Enable Auto PO indicator in Vendor master record Purchasing data
2) Enable Auto PO indicator in Material Master Purchasing view
3) Maintain Inforecord with above combination with valid price & Tax code.
4) PR must have valid source of supply for this you can maintain the source list with fixed source of supply and while creating the PR check the indicator Source determination
II) Auto PO at the time of Goods Receipt
1) Enable auto PO at movement type level ( in std 101 and 161 is actvated for auto PO
2) Plant must be assigned to the standar purchasing organisation
3) Material should be valuated material
4) PIR with valid price
5) Default document type in purchasing
In Customizing for Materials Management, choose Inventory Management and Physical Inventoryu2192 Goods Receiptu2192 Create Purchase Order Automatically.
In Customizing for the Enterprise Structure, choose Assignment u2192 Materials Management u2192 Assign standard purchasing organization to plant
A document type must be maintained for transaction MB01 in Customizing for Materials Management under Purchasing u2192 Define Default Values for Document Type

We use CRM Outlook client so that user manually tracks emails to CRM if he will. Emails should never be automatically tracked. Now, even if no automatic tracking for emails is enabled, replies for tracked emails are automatically tracked. How can I
prevent automatic tracking of reply email?

All the replies on tracked emails will be tracked by default.
If you wish to untrack, you need to hit the untrack button.

Looking for App - Track roster, attendance, and availaility

I am looking for an iOS app that will allow me to put in my Teams Roster, put each players class schedule in, and then have the app automatically track who is available or not depending on practice time. This way when I go to take attendace for practice I will know who won't be coming.
So basically if practice was at 4pm and several players were in class at this time, I would want the app to reflect this when I went to take attedance for the practice.
It would be a plus if I could import contacts already on my phone, as well as use a calendar already synced with my phone.
Has anyone come accross anything like this? I did a prettry extensive google search and couldn't find anything that did all of this together.

UNABLE TO TRACK THE SHIPPABLE ITEM FROM SALES ORDER

hi Experts,
Anybody can please help me on this issue that i create a shippable item with install base trackable option checked while doing the transactions like miscelleneous receipt and purchase order on that item automatically tracked in the install base while doing the sale order for the same item it is not tracked, but non shippable items are tracked in install base perfectly.
My requirement is shippable items are also tracked in install base, i already checked the option install base tracked in inventory master items form even though it is not tracked through sales order.

Go to V/06, select the tax condition type and execute. There check whether you have maintained "Condition Class" as D. If not, maintain D and then retry.

How to track the fast movement camera (close shot)

the shot is close to green screen and fast movement and camera cut off from the markers.
any ideas how to fix this ? i knew i mignt need to shoot again but its impossible cuz of the actors are not here anymore. so i must fix it.
any recommend plugin or technique ?

This shot will not track with any software I know of.
There are a host of problems that should teach you a valuable lesson. First, to automatically track you need fixed unique geometry that is big enough to grab at least 100 pixels of detail from. That means at least 10 X 10 pixels. There is nothing in the background of your shot in any frame except for a couple of tracking markers that come close to bing big enough to track. To do Camera Tracking you need to establish at least 2 planes that are far enough to calculate perspective and parallax changes. Your shot does not contain even one of the elements required to do camera tracking.
The only planes in your shot are the net in the background and the ned in the goal. Motion blur and fine lines in these two planes give you nothing to track. You also zoomed out from frame 7 to frame 12. NEVER EVER ZOOM if you are planning to replace a background or do a camera track. Especially, NEVER snap zoom. It is nearly impossible for camera tracking software to calculate a camera zoom when the zoom introduces blur. A snap zoom and fast pan is nearly impossible to track in the best of circumstances.
It's also going to be impossible to pull a clean key because the net in the background has a bunch of black lines on it and the white net in the goal gets completely blurred out in a great deal of the shot.
Just a little pre-production planning and some story boards would have saved the day. You have created a situation where your only option is to roto your actor and the goal frame, then recreate the net and the background by hand. What should have been a half hour in post is going to turn into a couple of days unless you redesign the entire shot to be something way more stylized. There's so much noise in the shot from the nets and the motion blur that RotoBrush will not track anything but a single frame. You are going to have to cut out your actor by hand and rebuild the background and adjust the position, rotation and scale by hand a frame at a time. Don't count on making any money on this shot. There isn't enough detail anywhere in this shot to even stabilize the shot to make it easier to roto. I tried.
If it were my project I would either leave out this shot or roto the actor, throw in a bunch of lighting effects and completely forget reality to turn this shot into a graphic instead of a movie.

Is it possible to insert white space that will track like other characters?

I'm working with Indesign CS3, and have a problem with white space, inserted as a special character - in this case, a sixth space, used for the space between initials of a cited author: A. B. White, or whatever. Between the point after A and the B, I've inserted sixth-spaces in each instance. But when the automatic tracking sets the text, those white spaces don't seem to be adjusted in the same way as the rest. So when a line is unusually tight, the space in question looks too large, and vice versa.
Is it possible - either in CS3 or, as a matter of interest, in CS4 or 5 - to insert white space that will track automatically as lines are adjusted?

Well, here's a classic:
1) Set some type in French. Use a thin space or a 1/6 space before punctuation. (That's what you are supposed to do in French - there's always a space before many kinds of punctuation.)
2) Hand off the file to someone else.
3) "Someone else" tracks the paragraph to -40 (without understanding that the paragraph is now barely legible).
If it's a fixed thin space, there is still a space in front of the punctuation. Due to the tracking abuse, it's now roughly the same size as a "normal" space-bar space. If it's not a fixed-width space, it has now disappeared. Tracking of -40 is ugly, but no space in front of punctuation in French is out-and-out wrong.

Can changes to a FrameMaker document be tracked by date?

If there are changes to conditional text in FrameMaker, can they be tracked by author and date? The goal is to create a log of changes that my group can reference.

FM can generate a List or an Index of the conditions (called References), so if you set a new condition for specific edits in a document, then those conditions can be tracked. It might get messy and be a bit of a maintenance chore to keep these things straight. Also, conditions have to be manually applied.
Author changes (including the date) are automatically tracked using the Track Text Edits option. The author (username from the system login) and date of a change shows in the document Status bar, e.g.
Unfortunately, FM doesn't have a default listing for the tracking info, but this info would be accessible via Extendscript, so you could have a custom script created to track/list all of these changes in a report. Note: if the changes are accepted or rejected, then the tracking info is lost.

Even security audit alone may not necessarily may not help coz you need to go and keep on checking it. Well in that case simply checking SU01 on regular basis might solve the issue )
What is required is CCMS alert kind of mechanism. May be security audit can be activated for certain users and then the alert can be passed via CCMS. Under CCMS SAP CCMS Admin Workplace>Security>Logon may be of use. This is purely my opinion. May be it can be even better than this.

4-corner Motion tracking. Mixing manual and auto generated keyframes

In Motion I start setting tracking points manually. Then after some frames, I like the Computer to finish the work and press the button that tracks 4-point automatically. As a result, the manually points are not moving the object any more. It stays fixed until the playhead reaches the automatically tracked points in the timeline. They work as expected. When I press "undo" to remove the automatic points, my manually points again move the object.
I dont find an explanation nor an solution to this. Any ideas?

The problem you had adjusting the position is because Match Move is a behavior. Luckily, I was doing this just yesterday so I have two possible solutions.
The simplest answer is to convert the Match Move behavior to keyframes. Simply select the layer and hit CMD+K. Motion will assign keyframes to the position and the behavior will be deleted. From there, you can place the playhead on frame 164, and manually keyframe until frame 172 and you're done.
If you don't want to lose the behavior for some reason, there is another solution. You can duplicate the match move behavior and shorten the OUT of one to frame 162, and the IN of the other to 172. Then for the space in between you can use keyframes.
Personally, I think the former is far easier, but they should both work fine.

How are you tracking deployed software versions for traceability?

I am curious how others are tracking deployed software versions in automated test environments.
I am working on a medical device tester and we have a somewhat inefficient method for keeping track of all version numbers. I would like to know what tools are available to automate tracking version throughout a project, from build to viewing later. Or, what methods are typical in this type of environment.
Essentially, we need to be able to say at any given moment what software version is running at 3 remote locations on several deployed systems.
For simply automating the process of viewing the version number programmatically, I found this, but we've had issues with it:

This solution requires a "separate" installer to get the .NET framework onto the target PC. Also, it doesn't work (to my knowledge) with the Help>>About window.

Thanks for replying. We are using SVN. The exact ECO process for this project is under construction as it is a relatively new project and deployments will be at our customer's site. We use JIRA for tracking specific change requests.
Here's an example of our basic process:
- Software changes made (according to JIRA tasks) and source code checked in
- Builds released per schedule with version numbers (from JIRA projects) hard-coded into the application
- Builds deployed at different locations & times
Here's what I'd like to see to improve things:
- Builds released with version numbers generated from one of the following:
   1. Loaded from JIRA release numbers - maybe auto-generated for reference by LabVIEW when building the application
   2. Part of a custom build launcher
         >> This would be a custom interface that runs functions like those in Application Builder palette while also sending version info
         >> Perhaps it could prompt the user for version info or read from something auto-generated.
- Builds should automatically make version numbers visible within the application (for example, LabVIEW has the Help>>About window)
- Build numbers should be programmatically/dynamically accessible without having to install an additional .NET framework that isn't listed in 'Additional Installers'
Curious if there are any tools that support these kinds of things. I am aware of Deploy by Wirebird Labs and Proligent by Averna, although I am lacking in knowledge about specific features.
