I reset my ipod and I am still unable to reset my restriction password
and that restoration will have to be as a new device, not using a backup, which will mean that you'll lose all your app data.

Your only recourse is to force it into DFU mode:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings. -

I have been writing on - Pages- app for several years. Pages automatically uses double space between paragraphs. I can not figure out how to make single space between paragraphs. Tried everything. Please help!

I have my card from my camera in my printer and it is blinking, the untitled box comes up on the desktop then Iphoto pops up and nothing happens at all use to do it on its own. How do I force this to load the pictures

The untilted thing is when i put the camera card into the printer slot a box on the right hand side comes up on the desk top it is a picture of a white box with a open slot in the front and it states Untitiled. If I take the card out this box goes away
I am trying to download pictures. Use to be I put the card into the printer, iphoto would open and then you could choose which new picutres you wanted to import. Now iphoto opens up and does not show any new pictures, there is no import at the bottom right and it just sits there. I would like to load pictures that I have taken all summer. I can't get in my phone and this is sooo frustratingtThe only way to get passed it is by entering the correct passcode. If you are unable to the you need to follow how to restore via recovery with the article you referenced. Once you restore to factory settings you will then be able to restore from back up.

I have to admit, I've owned an Iphone for 2 years now and I still can't figure out how to manage my pictures. I'm confused, I don't know how to get them out, import them...I have 3 albums in my phone taking a huge amount of space with duplicates in : camera roll, photo library , last importation ...!
same goes for Adress book.
Can anybody help and explain to me how that works ? Explain it to me as if I'm a 4 year old !

where are the pictures saved on the macbook ?
how to manage and delete them in batch ?
how to keep one folder in the phone ?

if i factory reset my ipod touch(5th gen), can i reset it to the option 'set up as a new ipod', and then i can just go into the app store/itunes store and log into my apple ID so i can just restore my music and apps and not icloud with photos, contacts, ect. and then later i can add contacts that i need/want instead of them restoring them from icloud?
The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

-sierraHey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. I have an iPod mini library which I have update. I now have an iPhone 4S which I have synced to the library using a MS XP computer. I can not figure out how to get the library to download to my iPhone?
Thanks, This caused me to go back and try again since the solution seemed so simple. What I did was when it started downloading, it started with the iphones apps to my computer. I did not want the apps downloaded on my computer so I stopped it. If I would have waited, the music was uploaded right after the apps were downloaded.

I am trying to transfer songs from my iPod touch to my computer and can not figure out how to do it. I also want to transfer the songs I have back in to iTunes. My hard drive went out on my computer and I lost all of my songs, except for on my iPod. I have an iPhone as well and did an update and it wiped out all of my songs. Someone please help me.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your comptuer for just such an occasion. use your backup copy to put everything back. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -
