Is 1000Base-T GBIC Supported in Catalyst 6006 now? If so, what is the hardware/software environment it needs (i.e.1000Base-T GBIC Card type and the CatOS or IOS version)?

Your table is the latest one I know of so you'll have to look at the switches datasheets to really know but I highly doubt that newer switches not in the table support this feature.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Multi-VRF support on Catalyst IOS Hybrid

I have Catalyst 6509/Sup720. I intend to use hybrid sw (CatOS [SP] + IOS [RP]).
I am planning to configure Multi-VRF feature.
Is the Multi-VRF feature on hybrid version.? If no, is there a plan to support it in the future.
I saw this feature supported on Cat IOS system native, but can't seem to find on the hybrid one.

Multi-VRF (VRF-Lite) is not supported in Hybrid mode. I don't think that there are any plans to support it in the future either. You would have to migrate to Native mode.

Gbic loop on catalyst 2960

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to validate that a SFP type 1000baseLX is working properly on catalyst 2960.
I am looking for the loop feature that is available on routers.... but not on switches.
The topology is 2 catalyst 2960 switches with both SFP type 1000baseLX connected together with a fiber. This was working find but actually, the two interfaces are down/down.
The idea is to be sure that the problem is on the fiber and not on one of the SFP....

If you can't install Windows 7 or higher or get a new computer with Windows 7 or higher, you won't be able to run Photoshop Elements 13.

I've been following your posts for my iTunes compatibility problems with Vistas. So far, progress has been steady - but now I'm stumped.
Apple customer service wanted me to Uninstall/Reinstall iTunes - intending to walk me through the problematic new-device setup. Prior to now, iTunes has had quirks with Vistas, but we were running just fine. However, per Apple, I Uninstalled and now - I just cannot get it Reinstalled.
I cleared a few hurdles until I got this "Apple Application Support not found error 2" message.
Again, I followed your steps and after trying the standalone AAS install, I get the following message:
"A later version of Apple Application Support is already installed on this computer."
So, between these two messages:
AAS not found error 2
"A later version of Apple Application Support is already installed on this computer."
I don't know what to do next.

Flip4Mac Supports Intel-Based Macs Now?

I stumbled onto the Wikipedia article for "Flip4Mac" and read an interesting bit of information:
As of July 15, 2006, version 2.1 of Flip4Mac now supports Windows Media Player 10 content, which was previously inaccesible to Macintosh users. This new version also supports Intel-based Macs.
I went to the Flip4Mac site but found nothing about it. Is it true or is this just a hoax. And where can I get the latest version?

The article seems a bit premature. There is also a Universal version of Flip4Mac, that is a Beta. I don't know if it supports WMP 10 as yet. I use the free part to view in QuickTime and Safari.
