Is 6288 update compatible with 6280?

Is 6288 software update compatible with 6280?

The issue for 6280's seems to be that the update from 3.x to 5.x causes the handset to die and then the handset has to be revived / recovered using the tools at a service centre. In fact going from early versions of 3.x to later versions of 3.x is also risky.
As the NSU currently does not have a revive / recovery mode for dead handsets I am not surprised they chose to play it safe and only support the 6288 which has an initial firmware version of 5.92.
Hopefully future versions of the NSU will support the 6280 properly.

  • HT4972 Is the update compatible with 3rd Generation Ipod Touch

Hello Im JS.Is the update compatible with 3rd Generation Ipod Touch. Thank You have a nice day.

    What update?
iOS 5 is compatible with a 3G (as well as 4G) iPod. However, if you are stuck with 4.2.1 that indicates that you really have a 2G iPod. those can only go to 4.1.2. See:
    Identifying iPod models
    iPod touch (3rd generation)
iPod touch (3rd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 32 GB or 64 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.
The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.

  • Best update compatible with 10.6.8 with a Core i5

What is best update compatible with my macbook pro - OS X 10.6.8 with an Intel Core i5
I am not sure if Mavericks is compatible with this computer, and wonder if anyone has suggestions on what update to get

    You can check below:
    Upgrading to Mavericks
You can upgrade to Mavericks from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mavericks can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
    Upgrading to Mavericks
To upgrade to Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Mavericks from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mavericks is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
        OS X Mavericks- System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mavericks
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
Or you can stick with Snow Leopard. It's up to you. You can install the above on a separate hard drive or a separate volume on a hard drive in order to check it out before you decide to upgrade your main system. Be sure you make backups before you begin any system upgrade.

  • Why isn't the new iOS4 update compatible with the 1st generation iPod touch

It makes me extremely angry that i have wanted what the new update contains ever since i got my ipod and now I can't have it because whoever made the update didn't make it compatible with the 1st generation iPod touch. Ig someone could give me a good reason as to why this happened that would be much appreciated.

  • Ipad ios7 update compatible with iPod touch 4th gen.

Would Ios7 update on ipad be compatible with syncing with iOS 6 on 4th  gen. iPod touch?

ios 7 is simply the operating system. Anything such as pictures facetime everything else involved with your apps etc, will still be compatible between the two devices.

  • HT204032 is this firmware update compatible with Lion?

I have set my MacBook Air to dual boot Lion and Mountain Lion, is this firmware update (MacBook Air SMC firmware update 1.6) compatible with Lion?  So if I boot the MacBook into Mountain Lion, accept the firmware update, and then boot into Lion will I have any problems?

Thanks for the responses, but they really don't get me any further because they don't contain anything that I couldn't have inferred myself. I've been developing software for nearly thirty years and just because Lion won't be using this particular feature doesn't mean the change won't break something else.
What I really need is an assurance from Apple that this update has been fully tested on Lion.
I don't have a compelling need for this Power Nap feature so I won't install this update for the moment, unless Apple issues the assurance.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 update compatible with Maverick?

Is there an update for Photoshop Elements 11 that is compatible with Mac OS X 10.9.2. I have been dealing with Apple for several days and we have had to factory reset my entire computer as it would randomly shut off while working on projects. Now the only application I have installed is Photoshop elements 11. It has slowed my computer down drastically. Like dial up slow. I don't want to buy another software since this one isnt that old. Any help would be appreciated. I have a few deadlines coming.

    Hi,
As you have stated that you already have Camera Raw 7.4 installed, the other reason you can't read the files could be that you have corrupted them by using old Nikon software to download the files.
    Please see if this helps.

  • Camera Raw updates compatible with Snow Leopard

Apple keeps releasing Camera Raw updates that are only compatible with Lion or above.  Has anyone heard why they don't seem to support Snow Leopard? There are many of us that don't want to upgrade beyond Snow Leopard for other legacy software reasons.
Come on, Apple.  Give us an update!
    Carroll Lam

You can send feedback to Apple:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html
We, of course, are just users and have no real knowledge of this.
If you are cynical, you can say that Apple does it to force you to upgrade.
Someone non-cynical would say that it is Apple policy to not support OS's two revisions back.
It could also be that there have been improvements in the RAW decode engine that aren't available in OS 10.6.8.

There would be eight but the 830 is no longer listed. Did AT&T have it removed ? Only three of these phones have the Denim update available, that is 37.5%.  Is AT&T even trying, I don't think so.  The same models of phones all over the world have been updated. Now WP10 is coming up. Microsoft says they will update WP10 directly, no carrier in the middle and they say it will be available to all phones and only phones running Lumia Denim, OS version 8.10.14219.341 or higher can be upgraded.  So, the phone has to have at least Denim before you can update. Will Windows 10 update be available for my Lumia phone? We bought two 920's from AT&T in 2012. Wife is still using hers and I replaced mine with a 1520.3 last year. It has Qi wireless charging and 32GB memory, not the AT&T version. We no longer have a contract and never will, using 'bring your own phone'.The other 62.5% of the Lumia phone users with AT&T probably feel the same way.

  • Latest Firefox update compatible with Mac Tiger OSX 10.4.11

Firefox notifies me that I'm not running the latest version (I have 3.6.24 GTB7.1) and to download the version compatible with my older system (Mac Tiger 10.4.11). I click on that link and can find nothing that states what systems the version(s) there are compatible with. I have in the past downloaded and installed an incompatible version, a situation to avoid for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the fast responses, I am particularly happy to have found the floodgap.com website. Didn't think that I was the only one muttering about the abandonment of two decades of pre-Intel software and tech files that my work depends on, and am glad to see some action in that direction. Surely a cottage industry will spring up to keep hardware available. I love what Apple has brought us but not their ability to turn their back on what brought them up, and millions of users in the process.

  • Why doesn't FF make the latest Update compatible with a Power PC G4?

I've got a Power PC G4 Mac, which apparently doesn't meet the System Requirements for the latest Update of Firefox: why not? In this Economy, I'm sure there are a lot of people like me still running Power PC's, yet now I can't even "suggest" to FF that they include us in the Update, because I "don't have the latest version"! I run my whole Office from my Mac, so it's still pretty darn good. What's with the disrespect?

Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 10 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:

  • Is Open Software Updater compatible with firefox?

The popup, Open Software Updater, keeps coming in and wants me to download it to keep firefox up to date. Is open software updater a valid firefox updater?

hello logdenfarm, updates are handled automatically & internally by firefox (you can always trigger a check for updates manually in the firefox ''menu [[Image:New Fx Menu]] > help [[Image:Help-29]] > about firefox'').
so there is no need for external updaters, which might in some cases also bundle unnecessary or malicious software - i'm not familiar with the program you have mentioned specifically, but if you receive poups form an unclear source you should probably run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] and [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].
