Is A-30 A3300GV getting android lollipop update?

I want to know is Lenovo A7-30 A3300GV getting Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade? And since it's open source code is present on lenovo site so has there been any development on this device? Custom Roms? CyanogenMods? Anything?

I just don't have PC, I would have tried to built Lollipop or atleast, Android 4.4.4 for this phone. :/ My PC's specifications sucks. If anyone is having a free server for this job, then please pm me.

  • Lenovo A6000 Android Lollipop update

Respected Admin, I have a Lenovo A6000 . I just wanted to know when is the release date (tentative date) for Android Lollipop 5.0 update for this phone .  As i just find out http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht101396 . What are the tentative date for OTA ?What are the chances of getting new themes  for Vibe Ui in this update ?

Lenovo A6000 plus should recieve lollipop as its just a hardware upgrade over the Lenovo A6000. And it should recieve the update the same time as lenovo a6000. hoping it will start rolling out in next 3 days as Q2 is ending in 3 days.

  • Android Lollipop update for p780

Hi Team,When can i expect Lollipop Update for lenovo P780, And Please ignore including Lenovo security in update, this is the worst application i have ever seen.Do Reply.

It can handle kitkat. Those problems were coding issues I believe.. and they tried to resolve it but not successful. Can they stop their work on kitkat and start working on lollipop rather.

  • My Galaxy S4 getting the lollipop update.

someone please just tell me when i am getting this update i losing my mind with this thing. when apple has a update they have a date and when the date comes every phone gets and update grrr.

You are so right about installed apps not being compatible with a major system update.  But, what if the device itself isn't compatible with the new operating system?  This happened when Google updated my Asus Nexus 7 tablet to Lollipop.  It rendered the tablet nearly useless because of how slow it became, it frequently locked up and had to be rebooted, and on and one.  Asus blamed it on Google, Google blamed it on Asus.  Because I didn't buy the tablet from Google Play, Asus won't replace it.  All they will do is reset it back to it's original state when I bought it, and I have to send it to them and pay $120?
All I hope is that I either have a new phone before VZW pushes Lollipop to S4 users or that it doesn't cause the problems that NG6 caused.  Because of those problems, I have never intalled NG6 or NK1.

  • HDR-CX330 won't connect to Xperia tablet after Android Lollipop update

Hello, Yesterday our Xperia tablet received an upgrade to Lollipop, and now I can no longer maintain a connection to the camera. It momentarily connects, but disconnects almost immediately. I tried (at the camera's suggestion) changing the password, but that didn't resolve the problem. The camera also suggested there was a second device connected. But the 2nd device was the tablet itself! Any ideas on how to fix this? This is a company camera that gets used regularly, and I need to get it working again!

    Hello,
MitchelleC said:"If the tablet is set to connect to your Home network automatically, this may intrude connection of the camera and tablet. Same with the Mobile Data connection. Turn the setting off and forget all networks that are set to Connect automatically before reconnecting both devices again."
I think you're on the right track with this, and did have the camera "forget" the network and then re-join. (Can't find where to tell either the cam or the tablet to connect automatically.)
I HAVE been able to establish a reliable (I think) connection using Wi-Fi , but when I look at Xperia's network info in Settings, I do see an authentication error AFTER I have disconnected, so I don't know at what point the authentication error is coming up.
All these months I've been repeatedly doing what worked, without really paying attention to HOW it was working, so I'm a little non-plussed to have just this weekend learned that all this NFC connection stuff I struggled through last year was apparently unnecessary! And from today's efforts I see that NFC doesn't even seem to work unless WiFi is turned on. So either 1) I'm missing something right in front of my face, 2) there's a hidden control I'm not finding (like when I couldn't get the MP4 files off the camera because the ability to view them was off by default and well-hidden in the Settings), or 3) WiFi is necessary for NFC, in which case I really don't see the usefulness of NFC.
Bottom line: I *think* I have a stable connection now, but uncertain as to why it's working. So problem potentially solved.
Because I'm not even certain I've been connecting with NFC or not after all this time, I would appreciate if someone could fill in some of the blanks - or at least say whether or not it all seems normal except some weird connection issue - as I'm always looking to learn and better understand how things work.

  • When will we get android lollipop samsung S4

Why haven't EE provided us with the latest Android firmware - Lollipop. So far Vodafone & O2 have it.

EE test the Androd version on all there devices Vodafone let there customers test it. Not sure what O2 do. EE are always last on pushing out outdates for android. There is no ETA for it.

  • Lollipop update and vibe ui

Lenovo team failed to stand on their words which have been published on their own website about Android lollipop update. And in the same, they mention as vibe 2.0 installed on A6000 but its not 2.0 its 1.15. Still Chinese calendar showing them quarter 2 or what? Waste or time and money... Its far better to go for Xiaomi mobiles, really they rocks with their UI.

Sorry to hear that you have issues with the cover after the update.
Could you please check the following for me?
    1. Is the smart cover window visible at all when you close the cover?
    2. What touch firmware do you have in your phone?
        a. Please go to dialer and dial: *#*#7378423#*#* to open the service menu.
        b. Go to: “Service info”
        c. Go to: “Firmware info”
        d. Take a screenshot of this window or write down all info.
    3. Is touch completely dead in the smart cover window or does some touch events still work?
    4. Do you have a lockscreen set in phone? If so, what lockscreen?
    5. Do you have multiple users setup in phone?

  • Unavailability of Sinhala Language on Android Lollipop (5.02) Update

Sony has revmoved Sinhala Language from their new Lollipop (5.02) update I received my Android Lollipop (5.02) update yesterday for my Sony Xperia Z2 (D6503) and i got really dissapointed when i realized that Sony has removed Sinhala language (Unicords) from Android Lollipop Google stock update. I know for a fact that from Android Lollipop (5.00) on wards Google had relased their Android platform including Sinhala Language.  I don't know why Sony removed it intentionally, and i beleive as a big Sony fan i have a right to know!  Sony has been a established brand in Sri Lanka for so long and even without official support there lot of people using Sony devisers. This is something unjustand unaccpetable. You will never know the feeling when you can't read your mother language on your phone.  I beleive ability to use a prefered language is a right as a Sony user and you have taken that right from me when you removed Sinhala language from your device's new update.   I would like to show you how it shows me my language on my Sony xperia Z2.   I'm sure any Sony user will feel the same if they had to see their language like this. Even Google traslator now support Sinhala. and removing it from my phone is unacceptable.  I hope Sony team will take this issue seriusly and give me a positive answer. I'm begging you to include Sinhala atleast from the next update onwards. There are 20 million people speaking Sinhalese in Sri Lanka and also aroud the world. Sony has to have Sinhala. If i didn't get a positive feedback, this maybe the last time I'm buying a Sony devide again. I'm sure that feeling is mutual with every Sri Lankan.  So please!

Yes, New Google software 5.0 supports Sinhala Language (See the attached impage from Google site), but its strange Sony dosent include sinhala language in there Lollipop update but sinhala is available in other brands like Samsung & HTC, This is already mentioned in Sony JB update in last year but its strange to not included in stock rom only option is root, please try include Sinhala language your next lollipop update.

  • Android 5.1 Lollipop update stuck

I got a notification for Android 5.1 Lollipop update for my phone. I downloaded the update but it is stuck in installing phase for more than 12 hours now! I have tried restarting the phone but after the restart, the phone automatically starts the system update again and is still stuck. What can I do?

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Hello,      I have yet to receive the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 Update for my Samsung s5. Everytime I go to "About device" and to "software update" it tells me that it is currently up to date, however it is not, and I am still on KitKat 4.4 2. • Will yoga 10 hd+ get lollipop update?

    Good day.
    Please see: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht101396
    Regards.

A yes or no answer please!  Will Lenovo update the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ to Android Lollipop 5+ or Android M when it is released. Please don't refer me to that useless update schedule! If no one knows, say so! If Lenovo isn't even considering  the 10 HD+ for an update, say so! Just answer the question, yes or no!!
