Is a L3 switch able to receive a WAN link? if the WAN circuit presentation is ethernet?

To add to what Jody has already posted, L3 switches often lack features commonly found on routers. Often such features are WAN related. Jody mentioned one common WAN feature, NAT, but they might also lack certain hardware resources, such as sufficient capacity to take one or more full Internet route tables.
Even when running across MetroE clouds, often LAN L3 switches are still a bit "weak", for such usage, which is why Cisco has a series of MetroE switches.
The forgoing doesn't mean you cannot use a LAN L3 switch, just you need to be careful matching what the switch can do with your WAN feature needs.

While trying to create a database link to SQL server from Oracle ,using the database gateway provided with 11g, i am getting the following error while making use of it in selecting columns from tables :

Is there any issue with the set or definition that I get the above error?

What is the version of the Oracle database in which you have specified/and use the database link?
If it is for example 10.2.0.3.0 you need to apply the mandatory patch for RDBMS bug 5965763 first before being able to use an 11g gateway. Have a look at MetaLink note 457808.1 for details about this patch.

How to receive a link that gets shared from the Android browsers "share page" menu?

I created a POI on their desktop version and came away with a nice URL pointing to that location.
Tried this on mobile, hoping that the device would recognise and redirect to it's mobile map app, but no luck - just tried to open the desktop map version. D'oh!

The whole configure over WAN thing is confusing me I don't want anyone to be able to access my airport extreme over the WAN. How can I check to make sure that is the way I have it setup?

Open AirPort Utility, select the AirPort Extreme, and click Manual Setup
Click the Base Station tab located just below the row of icons
Remove any check mark that might be in the box next to Allow Setup over WAN
Click Update to save your settings and the AirPort Extreme will restart in 25-30 seconds
For what it is worth, if you leave the box checked, any computer that tries to access the settings on the Airport Extreme will be asked for the device password....not the wireless network password.

If it was setup using your iPhone and your Apple ID then as far as the iCloud team will be able to find out, you set it up. Passwords cannot be retrieved.
Change all passwords on accounts associated with your iPhone.

END it_check_overdue_issues;According to the package, if the issue target resolution date is greater than the sysdate then, the email has to go to the project lead corresponding to that respective project saying that the issue is on overdue.
But im couldnt able to receive any emails, as i checked with an example of raising an overdue issue specifying the target date for that issue as 23-06-2011, so it is less than sysdate so therefore an email has to go to the project lead of that respective project.
But im not receiving any email to me, as i defined myself as a project lead for that overdue project.
What is wrong with the query or with my understanding of the above query.

You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.

Go into compositionReady and have 3 variables you will be able to set them like this
strike1 = 0;
strike2 = 0;
strike3 = 0;
So on the wrong item click have

You should look into the Math.Random function to make things random in edge.

To edit a text with the score at the end which I'm assuming you will want to do you will use .html

Why am I unable to send email when away from my home wifi ? I am able to receive mail OK, and have double- checked the outgoing server which is correct. This problem is consistent with my Macbook Pro, iPhone, and iPad2.
Attempts to send messages results in them sitting in the Outbox and never- ending 'sending message' displayed.
I am able to send using my me.com server.
Home service provider is Cogeco.
Any help would be appreciated.

For years I have been using [email protected] for business.
It is on my business cards, stationary and most of my closest correspondences are maintained off of that email.
The documentation I've read indicates aliases should be transferred over as part of this iCloud migration but this does not seem to be the case. My account now shows 3of3 aliases available but I'm still able to receive messages addressed to the alias. I can no longer send emails from this alias.
How do I get this corrected?

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.
