I still have to put my passcode in.

What that means is the activation lock does not operate if you did what you said you did. Bottom line, turn it back on. That will then require anyone trying to use the device to have yoru Apple ID and password.

Just Power off your Iphone wait for 10 seconds and then power on again and got to settings and software update it will download the update once again and it will work fine.

Premier pro is telling me my trial has expired however I have a student year long subscription?

They ask for a serial number but according to the website there is no serial number for student subscriptions. Mine is set to end Nov. 2014.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and that didn't work.

Is the OS X server good for a home network?

Is the OS X server a good idea for a basic home network?? Nighthawk AC7000 , PS3 , multiple wifi devices etc...

I find OS X server a great Home Server mostly if you you have more that one computer on which many people want to log in.
For the rest, iCloud may do the trick, you can use external drives for big files, and doubling server with iCloud may add a layer of complexity.
Todd Olthoff does a great job on Youtube with home servers and I read a few good ebooks on the topic.
Notes:
iPhones and iPads are considered Personal Devices in my world, unless I deploy-rotate the in schools.
I aslo got a Static IP, a domain name to go with it, a router that doubles DNS if I may use that expression.
It's even a little more complex if you are not in the USA:
iBooks Caching in Canada was, and maybe still a problem.
Register devices on iCloud too was delayed.
VPP was hard to come by in my appreciation of things.

Can I change the HDL for the USRP N210 FPGA to use only I part of data, not I/Q

While using the USRP N210, we've run into a slight roadblock. We're using UHD's rx_samples_to_file and are able to receive at 20 Msps for 2 minutes using 8-bit complex integer (sc8) over-the-wire format without dropping any samples, but we'd like to receive at a faster data rate, preferably using 16-bit complex integers. We don't really need the Q part of the data, just the I part. So, in addition to using a faster hard drive for the computer and (if we have to) sacrificing half the data bits (using sc8 instead of sc16), we thought about altering the HDL code to only use the I part of the data to help us increase the data rate.
Is this even possible/plausible? How would you suggest going about accomplishing this? Ultimately, our goal is to receive at a faster data rate. Do you have any other ideas?

While you may find some other UHD users in these forums who can help the best bet is probably to send your question to [email protected] since they are much more experienced in UHD troubleshooting. I don't think you'll be able to edit the FPGA itself but there may be a way to pull back just the I data, I can't say I've tried either one myself though.

What is C++ good for?

I think it's kind of weird that Microsoft can't build a class designer that displays manged types in C++. Why is it that C++ always comes last out of all of the languages! I know it isn't the most popular language but still, you begin to feel like Microsoft are trying to shut it off so there are only 2 languages, C# and VB. Over the years I have learned to program in C++ because of the pointer functionality and the sense of control you have over your code. Where as in C# you know less about what pointers and memory are doing and as a result it makes it easier to program in C#.
But then it begs the question what is C++ really good for at the end of the day. There is less and less functionality for it and it's language with many syntax obstacles compared to the easy and quick ways of writing C# code.
I would really appreciate different sides of the debate because then it might help me to realize that learning all about C++ wasn't such a waste of time after all.

simple answer: it's the only language you can use to write real programs with (= for a computer) ... all other "programming" languages are some kind of scrippting tools in my eyes
but today they even call html and css a "programming" language ... that's like saying "hey, I'm a chef, I know how to cook water"
it's true, that we should talk about C/C++ and not about C++ alone and it's also true, that there are things in those language which I would like to change... but far less than in C#, Java and VB... oh and by the way: no, it's not complicated,
it's powerful ... with C/C++ you can program the machine! you can decide what it should do! and you know if you're talking about a pointer, a variable, and integer or what ever...
and if somebody is passing a string by value... well, then... this person simply isn't a programmer... that's it ...
so, again... what is C/C++ good for? it's the only way to write computer programs

I just connect my standard 3 foot cable that came with the iPad into the power block and plug the power block into an 8 foot standard white household extension cord. I have done this since day one and it works great.

Comic Life? Any good for photos?

Found this on my iMac and I wondered if it's any good for making photo montages?
I use an online lab for photos so wondered if the files it creates would be good enough for uploading for poster prints (some up to 30"x20")?

No, Comic Life is only good for making comics, it can't make any montages. As of today I deleted it, seeing as I won't make any comics on it. Also, it can't make poster prints because of the way the printing would turn out (think a lot of colored dots with no real picture).
So in short, deleting it would not harm anything, nor hinder anything. Just save up some space.

Can I change which nic is used for a cluster network when more than one nic on the node is on same subnet?

This cluster has been up and working for maybe a year and a half the way it is. There are two nodes, running Server 2012. In addition to a couple network interfaces devoted to VM traffic each node has:
Management Interface: 192.168.1.0/24
iSCSI Interface: 192.168.1.0/24
Internal Cluster Interface: 192.168.99.0/24
The iSCSI interfaces have to be on same subnet as management interfaces due to limitations in the shared storage. Basically if I segregate it I wouldn't be able access the shared storage itself for any kind of management or maintenance tasks.
I have restricted the iSCSI traffic to only use the one interface on each cluster node but I noticed that one of the cluster networks is connecting the management interface on one cluster node member with the iSCSI interface on the other cluster node member.
I would like for the cluster network to be using the management interface on both cluster node members so as not to interfere with iSCSI traffic. Can I change this?
Binding order of interfaces is the same on both boxes but maybe I did that after I created the cluster, not sure.

Tim is correct, if you are using ISCSI Storage and using the network to get to it, it is recommended that the iSCSI Storage fabric have a dedicated and isolated network. This
network should be disabled for Cluster communications so that the network is dedicated to only storage related traffic.
This prevents intra-cluster communication as well as CSV traffic from flowing over same network. During the creation of the Cluster, ISCSI traffic will be detected and the network
will be disabled from Cluster use. This network should set to lowest in the binding order.
