Is Adobe Export PDF ($19.99yr) included in Adobe Create PDF Basic ($89.99yr)?

I had bought Adobe Export PDF ($19.99 yr) last year then purchased Adobe Create PDF Basic ($89.99) this year.  Is the same features in the Export PDF included in the Create PDF Basic?

does Adobe Export PDF provide OCR ?

Yes. Adobe ExportPDF uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to turn scanned images into digital text, which is then saved as editable text in your new Word document. You may also select the language you would like ExportPDF to recognize text in--English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Japanese.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro Vs Adobe Export PDF?

    Hi
I alredy have acrobat 9 Pro which I use to convert PDFs to Word.  With the project I am currently working on, the results area bit of a mess and I have to do a lot of re-formatting; please advise if Adobe Export PDF has anything in it that is likely to give better results.
    Many thanks

    Hi Lesley,
Great question!  ExportPDF is using a much more advanced PDF to Word conversion engine than the one that was included with Acrobat 9.  The engine is based off the one used in Acrobat X, however as ExportPDF is a service rather than a desktop product, we've been able to update and improve the engine on a more regular basis.
    I'd suggest subscribing to ExportPDF.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

  • Is EXPORT PDF included in Acrobat XI Pro?

Is EXPORT PDF included in Acrobat XI Pro?  I'm paying for both and I think I can drop the EXPORT PDF... but I'm not sure.  Can anyone verify??

The ExportPDF online service is not included in Acrobat XI Pro, but Acrobat offers the same functionality and more.  So you do not really need ExportPDF when you have Acrobat; you can cancel the service from http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cancel-subscription-acrobat-online-servi ces.html

Does the Adobe Export PDF Annual subscription not include converting Word docs to PDF?

  • Indesign export pdf used preset include comment

Is there a way including the summary of the used preset as comment within the exported pdf? Within Acrobat Distiller you have an option called "save adobe pdf settings inside pdf file", is there also such an option available in Indesign?
As a receiver of pdf files, then you have the possibility detecting which preset is used.
    Regards,

    There is no such option.
Instead, you should use Acrobat Pro's Preflight tools to check for issues like image resolution or colors spaces which are important to your workflow.

  • Downloading Adobe Export PDF Again without being Charged Again!

I would like to know if I can download Adobe PDF once again onto my computer without being charged the annual fee of $ 19.95 annually since I am already a Adobe ExportPDF user from when my computer did not crash to where I had to go back to the very beginning after the crash.  I lost all of my files including my Adobe Export PDF.  Can I redownload Adobe Export PDf without my checking account losing the $ 19.95 annually since I have already paid for it before my computer crashed and I had to go back to the beginning to where none of my old files were saved.  My adobe id is [email protected] and this is also my e-mail address.

  • Want to cancel Adobe Export PDF membership IMMEDIATELY, PLEASE.

Just paid for Adobe Export PDF membership.  Not working for me.  At least not the way I need.  How can I cancel?  It said contact customer support but that just gives me this site.  Also don't know how to access the answers to this question.  Help?

I am also trying to cancel Adobe Export PDF within the 30days allowed by Adobe.  Following your advice by calling the 800 number you suggest will result in requiring the caller to go through  several recorded menus listing Adobe products none of which include Export PDF with a final recorded message telling the caller to go to the Adobe.com website for other products.  Going to the Adobe.com website produces these threads but no instruction for canceling Adobe Export PDF.
Obviously it is a method  created by Adobe to frustrate purchasers from trying to cancel Adobe Export PDF by circuitous button pushing leading nowhere.
I suggest anyone trying to cancel this Adobe product to stop payment if paid by credit card.

    Hi dwhitnackphilly,
The ExportPDF subscription isn't included in a Creative Cloud membership. However, if you have Acrobat as part of your subscription, you can use it to save directly to Word format (as well as a host of other formats). In Acrobat, just choose Save as Other...

I just started a free trial of the Adobe XI product that allows me to create an editable PDF. I'm done creating the form and ready to export it. When I click Export PDF from the File menu, it says Adobe encountered an unexpected error. What am I doing wrong?

Good to know  — there is no such application as "Adobe XI".
"Adobe" is the name of the company.
"XI" is indicative of the use of either Acrobat XI or Reader XI.
Neither Acrobat XI Pro (for which Adobe provides a free, fully functional 30-day trial) nor Adobe Reader XI (the free to download and use PDF viewer that Adobe provides) have  an "Export PDF" entry under "File".
"Export PDF" only is present in Adobe Reader XI over on the right on the "Tools" panel.
The "Tools" panel provides a way for a user of Adobe Reader XI to connect to various By Subscription online services (gotta pay eh).
Export PDF is one of these. A subscription lets you send a PDF file to the online internet service (aka "cloud" service). The service then exports to a supported file format (Word / Excel / ...) and the user selects / directs where the output file is to be saved on the user's local machine.
Of course to use any of the online subscription services one must have an active (paid up in full) subscription to the service.
So ---- As described the puzzle pieces don't fit eh.
What specific Adobe (the company) applications are you using?
Acrobat XI Pro? Adobe Reader XI? Both?
    Be well....

  • I just purchased Adobe Export PDF, but I still cannot convert my .pdf document to Ms. Word.  I have a PC

Hello, someone please help me.  I don't know why on line tech support is unavailable.
I just purchased Adobe Export PDF in an attempt to be able to export documents from .pdf to Ms. Word.  I have a PC.  When I open the document in .pdf my name appears in the top right hand corner.  When I click on it and select export to Ms. Word, I get nothing.  Can someone instruct me on how to do this?

    Hi dorisw,
Are you trying to export your files via Reader or the ExportPDF web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com?
If you're using the web interface, please clear the browser cache, and then log back in to the URL I supplied above. Then, you can follow the steps in this document to convert your files: Getting Started with ExportPDF | Adobe Community
Let us know how it goes!

  • Exported PDF looks different in Preview, Adobe Reader

    Hi,
I'm relatively new to InDesign and experiencing all sort of problems. I'm trying to export PDF of my resume in a small size file to send it over the email. However, after exporting when I view PDF document in different applications, it looks different.
    1) In Adobe Reader in 100% view the letters in bold are "jumping". Please see the screenshot below
    2) The colors of the logo come out right when viewed in Adobe Reader. Which is 1st image:
However when viewed in applications such as Preview or just default Mac preview with space bar. The colors of the logo and the contact details comes out completely different then in Adobe Reader.
I export the PDF with the default settings that comes with smallest file size but I need to make sure it looks good as this resume is for my job and will be viewed most probably on the computer. The logo is linked to Adobe Illustator file in InDesign document.
Please help as I spend about 3 hours trying to figure it out. I would really appreciate your help!
    Natalia

    Hi Mike,
Thank you for your answer. I've tried most of the thing you recommended but it doesn't work:
    1) The file was originally created in CMYK and then I converted it to sRGB in InDesign. As well as chose transperency blend space as RGB. As for the logo then the option in Illustrator to convert the file into RGB mode seems to be disabled.
3). Exactly what I was doing.
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong... Is there a way to import all the links from illustrator into InDesign file?

    Hi ceop,
It seems earlier you were able to use it.
It is not clear why you are facing this issue now.
You can try it with another pdf file,It might be possible that there is some issue with your pdf file.
