No. If the program needs to be replaced by the new one then it would do that during installation. You do not have to prepare for installing the new version.

Unable to activate Premiere Pro CC single-app membership after trial period

Hi all,
I'm having some real problems trying to activate Premiere Pro CC after my trial period expired. I purchased a 'month-to-month' subscription yesterday after I lost access to the software, but have had no luck in getting it up and running.
Another strange event running alongside this is not being able to sign in to the 'contact us' part of the Adobe.com website - hence why I am resorting to getting help in the Forum's.
Appreciate any help on this, as I need to get cracking with some work.

I've tried signing in and out of the CC desktop app, and also tried a few other avenues to get this thing working. But sadly, and quite poorly on Adobes side, I think the latter is probably the issue - needing 2 business days to process payment. If this is the case, there should be a notification of this delay before they take a payment. I was notified after I purchased Prem Pro that it could take up to 24 hours to process the payment, but I can assure you that they have taken my money!

Once the trial period is over you can still continue to work with the IDE without it locking up. The SDN content will however not be available. Please take a look at the following thread and in particular Jim Inscore's post:

In the free trial period I made several VM's whuch now have the status Stopped.
I updated my account to "Pay as you go" but I'm not able to activate the VM's that have been stopped.

Please try to start the Virtual Machine through Powershell and check if you are able to start them.

Adobe Fireworks CS4 freez on create album

Hi,
I'm trying to use Adobe Fireworks CS4 with all the latest update on a Macbook Pro computer with OSX 10.5.8.
Everything works fine, except for the following.
I use commands - create slideshow.
Then I create an album and add pictures.
When I issue the command create, everything works fine.
But ....
From the moment that I choose to rotate a picture, the create process freezes when it reaches that specific picture and I can only cancel this.
Is there anyone who can tell me a solution or workaround?
Next to that, I also have an issue with multiple albums. When I use multiple albums and use the album properties to add a description and a thumbnail to a specific album, I always see that this is removed as soon as I click another album.
It would be very helpfull if anyone knows a solution to both these problems.

The same. Since each button symbol is a seperate slice you can add different URLs to them.

What I would do, instead of exporting code from Fireworks, is export images only, and add the code in Dreamweaver. If you must do iy from Fireworks, remember to put each element in a seperate slice. It would be easier to advise you if you could upload a copy of your file.

No need for hotspots unless you are creating an image map. Any coding, behaviors, etc will be exported with the HTML attached to the slices.

Purchase Adobe X After Trial period

I do not want to purchase Adobe X. Everytime I try to download something it pops up that my free trial is over and I must purchase and enter a serial #. Please tell me how to get rid of this. I only want to use the free edition of Adobe Reader. Thank you.

Depending on your operating system you will need to go to the Control Panel and if on XP choose Add/Remove Programs or if on Vista/Windows 7 choose Programs and Features. Highlight Acrobat X and uninstall it. This should eliminate the pop up window wanting you to purchase the product.

Oh!! just stop using it and after 30 days, it will expire. No need to to take any action. It is free so anyway so why bother?
They cannot start charging you because they don't have your credit card details. They need to have your express permission to take out a full contract of 12 months.

Adobe After Effects Trial Period Renewal

Hello Adobe Forums, I recently purchased a used computer from eBay, and have loaded it up with all kinds of software, photos, music, and other things. I attempted to get the trial version of After Effects CC (I am a high school student with a need for this software) to see if it would be worth buying, and it says that the computer has already used up the trial period (probably from the seller I bought it from. Is there some way to get a code for a trial of this software, because restoring my computer is not an option, and I would like to try this software before I purchase it. Thank you!

Running the cleaner MAY help... but it also may NOT, since a hidden code is put on the hard drive when a trial is used... just so someone doesn't keep using the trial instead of buying
