Is adobe illustrator draw finally supporting the Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2?

I what is a good alternative styler for this app?

I have a Wacom Creative Stylus 1 and an iPad air 2 and it works flawlwssly.
as far as the creative stylus 2 I haven't bought one yet because people have said that it doesn't work as good and looses connection more, but that may not entirely be from the hardware... I know for a fact that my stylus works really well with adobe apps but other drawing apps it has a very difficult time connecting, but as far as actual use of the pen after it connects seems fine to me. I would love to upgrade to a version wacom stylus because the 1 eats batteries like crazy but I am going to wait a bit.
Also I should note that adobe's website says it supports the jot pixel point and jot touch and of course the slide, I did not read anything about the wacom ones though.

According to the Wacom website, the Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus IS supported for pressure sensitivity, palm rejection and shortcut functionality.

However I have been unable to pair the pen with Ideas on my iPad...?
(I had previously paired the pen with another app - I closed the app so think it was unpaired - can it be paired with two apps simultaneously?)

Sorry about your issues with Wacom Intuos Stylus and palm rejection in Adobe Ideas.
Couple of things to note/try:
1. We have seen an issue with Wacom where sometimes it does not fully connect and behaves poorly. Try taking the battery out of the Wacom, putting it back in, and seeing if that improves palm rejection behavior.
2. When you bring down the stylus drop down menu by tapping the pen icon on the right side of the top toolbar in Adobe Ideas with the Wacom connected, does it show a battery level value soon after connecting? If not, this is a sure sign that the connection is probably faulty and you should remove the battery, replace and reconnect.
3. We are utilizing the palm rejection functionality from the SDK that Wacom provides to developers. When palm rejection is on we ask the Wacom SDK for the stylus touch and, if it is not reporting one, we don't draw a line. I see a similar behavior with my Wacom when I have palm rejection on in Ideas and I start drawing lines without a lot of pressure. They often don't start where I start the stroke and then they start drawing after I've applied a little more pressure. Does this sound like what you are experiencing?
4. Would you please try installing the Wacom "Bamboo Paper" app on your iPad (available in the app store), connecting your Wacom Intuos Stylus to that app, and see if you see similar behavior. If so, I'm afraid there's not much I can do from my end. I would suggest contacting Wacom Customer Care and telling them about your issue (http://us.wacom.com/en/support or 800-922-6613 in the US).

Will there be support for Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2?

Dying to upgrade to a more precise stylus but Adobe ideas is not supported by any.

I asked the same question about the new Bamboo stylus fineline, and I haven't heard back. However, I think Adobe needs to clarify their divided focus on their mobile drawing apps: Adobe Sketch, Adobe Line and Adobe Ideas. It appears all their focus is on Sketch and Line right now, since they were immediately compatible with Adobe Ink and Slide. I assume this focus is temporary, as Sketch and Line are more consumer facing, whereas Ideas (with more advanced features like multiple layers) adds incentive to purchase Creative Cloud. Further on this point, the Wacom website now indicates that Sketch and Line will soon have compatibility with Intuos Creative Stylus 2 and Bamboo stylus fineline; Adobe Ideas is not mentioned. My question for Adobe; is Adobe Ideas just taking a temporary backset to Adobe Sketch and Adobe Line? Can we expect an update to Ideas that brings parity with the stylus compatibility offered in Sketch and Line? Thanks

Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus Support

Todays update states they have expanded stylus support to include The Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2 (WICS2). However, when I try to connect the stylus nothing happens. The Adobe Sketch and Adobe Line apps which were also updated with the same expanded stylus support does connect The WICS2. I tried a soft boot on the iPad, and it did connect after that, but it wouldn't when I tried to reconnect later.
Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Just tested some fine line drawing both line and sketch, and even Procreate, with the WICS2, and the performance appears to be perfect, no offset, no "staircasing" of diagonals, as far as I can tell. I agree with the performance issues though, I have encountered the same problems using WICS2 with Sketchbook Pro.
I guess it depends on the platform.

was eventually released the update ! and also works well!

Don't buy an iPad air 2 –the screen technology is different and the stylus is unusable. Doesn't seem to effect the Creative Stylus 1, but man, would I have liked to use a stylus with a slimmer tip.

Adobe Draw never support the Wacom Intuos 2 Creative? I would like an official response, as the Wacom has dumped blame the software house.

The latest versions of Adobe Line and Adobe Sketch support Wacom. It will soon be added to Adobe Draw as well. Unfortunately, I can't give you a timeline or schedule more specific than that.

Adobe Illustrator Draw will not export to desktop Illustrator with the photo layer turned on.

Adobe Illustrator Draw will not export to desktop Illustrator with the photo layer turned on. This severely strains my workflow and makes it incredibly hard to add the image after it is exported to the desktop Illustrator. Is this being fixed??

This is a new bug in our latest release, and we apologize for not catching it before it went out. We are putting together a patch to address the issue. The only workaround at this point is to delete the photo and then send to Illustrator again.

Issue with transferring from Adobe Illustrator Draw to Illustrator on the desktop

I am having trouble getting my Adobe Illustrator Draw files to Illustrator on the desktop.
Here is the error: "The file "Project-Drawing 1.draw" is in an unknown format and cannot be opened."
I have updated my Illustrator CC 2014 and signed in to my Adobe ID. It works fine going to Photoshop but not Illustrator. I want to take advantage of the vectors and layers so I need it to go to Illustrator.

This error message can occur if you have a mismatch of Adobe Draw and Illustrator CC. Double-check that you have the latest version of both. The latest version of Draw is 1.0.1, and the latest version of Illustrator is v18.1.1.

Not all export options are showing in Adobe Illustrator Draw app!?

I downloaded the Adobe Illustrator Draw App. Did a test run on the features. Meaning i just doodled. Then i went to export However only two choices show. A copy of image to Creative Cloud and one other. There is no way to put actual file with layers so i can open it in illustrator on desktop.
i deleted the app and re- downloaded the app. But still only 2 options show, which do not help.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!!!
Also, if can, please ket me know if this app is only for CC files on desktop?
i have CS6 programs on desktop not CC.

The "Send to Illustrator" functionality sends the file to your CC Adobe Illustrator desktop (Mac or Windows) application. For this functionality to work you need to :
1. Have the latest CC Adobe Illustrator 18.1.0
2. Be signed in with the Creative Cloud desktop app with the same account you are signed in your iOS Adobe Illustrator Draw app.
Once you have completed the steps above, the artwork you send from Adobe Illustrator Draw will be opened in your desktop CC Adobe Illustrator app as vector objects (except for images that you had imported).

Adobe Illustrator draw import?

Whi I can't import .ai files in Adobe illustrator draw for iphone when i try to import individual files it shows my cc .ai files but they are not selectable (grey) why is that. And do you plan to make adobe draw for iphone fully functional with adobe shapes like the app for ipad. There are other manufacturers of vector apps in App Store with more capabilities. Why iphone users are ignored with adobe line and draw i have iPhone 6plus so I dont need an ipad at all. A lot people need fully functional Adobe illustrator draw and line on their iphones.

.ai files can be imported as a photo/bgd layer in Adobe Draw. I haven't been able to make one grey'd out.
What method of import are you using?
i have an iPhone6 and iPad Air - the size difference is really nice, but I agree that iOS apps should be for both iPad and iPhone, but I'm no programmer, maybe it's hard to do.

Clipboard Management in Adobe Illustrator Draw

How do I erase items from the clipboard in the Adobe Illustrator Draw app?
While learning the app functions I created a couple of junk images on the clipboard and it appears there is now no way to erase them. I tap the scissors icon and nothing happens. I find I can delete images from the favorites file in the clipboard, but this doesn't permanently delete the file. I have searched for the clipboard files in my Creative Cloud, but I can find no access to the clipboard.
While I am new to using Adobe Illustrator Draw, it seems there should be some intuitive process to manage the clipboard feature.
Can anyone help me with understanding how to delete images from the clipboard. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Since you've shown us the folder contents it's a good bet it isn't in use (no lock file). And it doesn't look like the file is mis-named as there doesn't seem to be anything else there that would be the .indd file (but just in case, open it in TextEdit and paste the first few lines here so we can see what the file header says), so the most likely case is the file is damaged. Is that on a removable device of some sort?
You can try the tool at Repair corrupt InDesign Adobe files on Mac OS X or send me a link to the file by private message and I'll try the recovery tool I have for Windows.

To elaborate a bit, you may come across offers of a new/unopened/unregistered version, which is the simplest case (you would need a guarantee). Other cases require much detailed information (and a guarantee).
If upgrading to 10.6.8 or higher is an option, you could use CS6.
