Is all adobe illustrator art work in vector art or do you have to convert them to vector?

I created a logo through Adobe illustrator and thought it would automatically be in Vector Art. When I sent the logo to a sign company they said it was pixelated, not Vector. Is it because I converted it into a pdf file before I sent it? And is there some way to get it into Vector Art so I can put it on a sign and it not be blurry?

It is a very basic logo where I used the polygon tool and filled it in red. I then put the Avant Garde decorative border around the shape and filled it in with a darker red. Then I put two letters in the center using the type tool in the font "French Script MT" and turned them white. All of this I made from a new folder under the "print" profile. I saved it as Adobe pdf. and Adobe svg. Unfortunatly, I don't know what step I can take to make all of this vector art. If you know how to help, thanks!

Not to be critical, but in the time you have waited to find out how to contact Adobe you probably would have had your question answered by someone here on the forum. Many times people have been given bad information when they have found a way to contact Adobe. Much of the so-called technical support has been outsourced overseas. And the people manning the phones have no experience with Adobe products. So you can complain some more. Or, you can ask your question. It's your choice.

You can buy any disk with FireWire, Thunderbolt or USB. If you've got a 2010 or early MacBook Pro, buy a FireWire disk, or if you've a newer computer, a Thunderbolt disk. They'll be faster than the USB, but you can buy an USB hard disk

Thank you for the clarification! It is really kinda circle-speaking to state on an information page to put forth info people need in that manner. It really does add to the confusion and frustration when you need a simple,

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Will adobe illustrator cs4 work on a macbook retina?

i'm considering buying the macbook pro with retina display. but will my main application, adobe illustrator CS4, display correctly on the machine? does anybody have experience with this? i'd be very thankful for you replies.

The question is really will CS4 work with the Mac OS X 10.7 operating system. As long CS4 is compatible with Lion it should work on the new systems.

Does Adobe Illustrator CS5 work in Mavericks?

I realize one has to update Java to 7 and Adobe has tested Photoshop in Mavericks.
But what about Illustrator, or InDesign CS5. Do they work (reliably) or not?

Adobe's website is not clear about Illustrator and Roaring apps is inconclusive, with not enough data. They say:
SVG and SVGZ file cant't be opened under Mavericks 10.9.1.

Hi, I downloaded iOS 7 recently. Everything was fine until I checked my apps and saw that there was something to update. I tried to update it and it won't work. Also whenever I try to put in my Apple ID and password for anything (ex. iMessage, etc.) it will just keep on loading but never actually finish. Also another problem I found along the way is that Facebook with my iPad mini is not working well at all. It's so slow and can barely load anything. If any of you have any tips on fixing this it would be greatly appreciated.

Try forgetting the wifi network. Touch the little blue arrow next to your wifi network and choose forget.
Reset your router. After you've reset etc, try connecting to it again with your iPhone.

Working with others on GB1 when you have GB2

so all of my musician friends have GB1 and i have GB2. i also have all four jam packs, so i barely remember what were the standard drum loops and guitar effects. whenever i try to send files to them, inevitibly i get responses from them about how something isn't working. i had assumed that if you save as archive, you wouldn't run into these problems.
any ideas?

As has been stated, GB(1) will not open a file saved with GB2.
The other point to remember is that everyone should use Save As Archive before sending the file to make sure all the components of the song (loops) are there.
Also, no one person can use a special plug-in effect that no one else has.

Yep, exactly the same problem only on W2K SP4. Firefox5 doesn't work but IE (on the same machine) does.
Sorry, I'm not sure what version version of IE is being used.
(It's the PC at work that has the problem and I'm writing this at home on my linux box which has Firefox version 3.6.18 for linux mint - which also works fine.)
I really hope this can be fixed soon.

Adobe Illustrator Not Working After Windows 7 Restore

My Windows crashed recently and it restored to an earlier version. The earlier version did not have the Creative Cloud registered. So while I have all the files under the Program Files, they do not appear anywhere else. I thought of uninstalling but they are not appearing in the uninstall list. I tried to delete the folders (Adobe) but it didnt delete them all the way.
So at the moment, I can't uninstall them, delete the folders or re-install the programs. I dont know what to do? Can someone help?

Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, reinstall.

Firefox 4 don't find any allready installed plugins (Flash player, vlc ....)on Mandriva. Those plugins where detected and working in FF3.6. Do you have any solution?

We have try to install the plugins in :
usr/lib64/firefox/pluglins;usr/lib/mozilla/pluglins;usr/lib64/mozilla/pluglins;opt/firefox/pugins ...... no way.
