Apple recommends leaving your computer turned on 24/7 unless you will be away from it for several days. Read the manual that came with your computer and you will find that documentation. It's good practice to put the display to sleep (System Preferences - Energy Saver) when its not being used.

Does any one have problems with verizon email ? Mainly with email folders .

I have an ipad2 and can not get any folder besides inbox and trash on my ipad .. It seems to be because I have to use yahoo.verizon server.. I have tried to sync the ipad several times but do not get folders that are on my Dell desktop running Windows 7.

If the Verizon account is a POP account, then it will not sync folders from your PC. Those could just be local folders that your mail client lets you create on the computer. Those will not sync to the iPad.
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder folders are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.
Why you are not seeing a sent folder is odd .... Have you sent email from this account yet?

It's hard to know how many people are having problems based on postings here. But they airport issues may be serious. They made my system nearly unusable, and it's not yet clear that any of the various processes for reinitializing it have worked.

Today when I go to this site and click on a link that should take me to another page on the futurescenarios.org I end up on a blank site which has the URL starting with http://aennekens.de/. Can anyone tell me what is going on? I have found this may be malware from the site http://labs.sucuri.net/?details=aennekens.de

Any one having trouble with S-Voice?

Every time I try to use S-Voice I have to restart the phone for it to work. How can I get it to just work when I want it to without restarting every time?

That's definitely not supposed to happen mrsdawg2! Do you get any errors when you try and use S-Voice? If so, what are they? It may be possible to clear the cache on S-Voice if it's listed as an application in this list: http://goo.gl/pJd4B If so, please clear cache/clear data/force stop, reboot the device and retest. Keep us posted on the results!

After downloading iOS7, dictionary in iBooks produces a "no definition found" response after every word i seek a definition for...anyone know how to fix it?

When you elect to look up a definition, you will note a button (lower left of definition pop up) called Manage. Tap that, and select the dictionaries you wish to download.

iMessage and FaceTime went down yesterday for some people. Mine is still down. My iMessage is saying the same thing about being activated. Sounds like you are still down too. Ignore the status page that says everything is fine - it lies.

My wife and I share apple id but have our own phones, and now having trouble with imessage. Sharing calenders, apps, music, contacts, etc...all great. But when we imessage each other. Our phones get confused and either not deliver message, or send it to and from itself.

Go to Settings > Facetime and you will see "You can be reached for video calls at:"
This should list your phone number (iPhone) and your email address (probably the gmail one).
And then an option for "Add another email..."
Choose that and enter your @me.com account and it'll send a verification email.
Same for iMessage: Settings > Messages > "Receive at" > Add Another Email
So you can be called by facetime and use iMessage through multiple email accounts yes.
