Is anyone else having icloud server issues today? I cant log on at all today

I am not able to get onto icloud today. it said " icloud encountered and error while trying to connect to the server" is anyone else having the same issue?

Somebody clearly hasn't read the User Guide.
Basic troubleshooting steps are retart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW. 
If you have tried ALL of these steps and you're still having problems, then you need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

  • I have been using Firefox for many years now and really like it, now the version 4 is extremely slow, anyone else having the same issue?

    I upgraded to version 4 last week and find it extremely slow compared to the previous version - like so slow that some pages do not even load. I have downloaded and gone back to version 3.6.17 and everything is back to the normal I have known for years with Firefox and it is really fast again...so now I know that there is nothing wrong with my computer and that the supposedly very very fast version 4 is much much slower than the previous version 3.6...so what gives? I'm not keen on going back to the new improved version 4, though I know it will not be supported soon...anyone else having the same issue?

    -Mac OSX
    -3.6 worked great
    -I tried the 4 beta, got rid of it because it was so slow
    -When it upgraded to 4 is VERY slow and freezes often
    -Appears especially slow on sites with flash (ie http://www.bbc.co.uk/news)

    Well, if you don't have enough space, then there's nothing wrong, right?
    You can check available space under Settings> General> About or by plugging it into iTunes and looking at the color-coded bar.

    We have an iPad mini, since updating to ios 7, the iPad no longer picks up my network. My iPhone 4 was having a similar issue, but it was picking up my network. I was able to find a fix to the iPhone, but the nothing is working for our iPad. Is anyone else having a problem like this? Is there a fix?

    Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    You will have to re enter the Wi-Fi password.

    I've had my 4S for four months and not able to send eMail, could recieve ok.(same problem with my new iPad.)
    I use Cox.net as my eMail provider.
    I called Apple, and to get an answer I paid $99, they told me that it needed another PORT and to call AT&T
    to get one.
    I called AT&T(for free) they had me delete my eMail and reenter it. IT WORKED. $99 down the drain.

  • Is anyone else having charging connection issues with their generation 4 ipad?

    My generation 4 ipad is having charging connections.  When I plug it in to charge with the charger that came with it, the part that connects right to the actual ipad is not always connecting.  Sometime I have to wiggle it around or angle it until I hear the sound of connection and can see on the screen that it is actually charging.  Sometimes I will charge it and when I leave it is in charge mode but when I come back to check on it, it never charged at all. Is anyone else having this problem or know what might be wrong?  I would think a brand new ipad wouldn't have a charging problem right out of the box.

    Thanks for your reply.  It sounds like your device is actually in a restart loop, which is different from the process of a soft reset.  Specifically, what I wanted you to try is this:
    Resetting your device
    If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If resetting does not break the restart loop, it sounds like a different direction may be warranted here. Due to the nature of your issue you may find more assistance by using another one of Apple's support resources:

    Hopefully it's been resolved by now - I have no idea how large each one of those files are. The progress bar tells you; FWIW, I only download one at a time - makes it easier and faster and you can choose to do the next one when you have time.

    I haven't received any emails for the past 16 hours.  I see from earlier posts in September this was an apple server problem.  Does anyone know anything more?  Any solutions?  Thanks in advance.

    No email for me since last Thursday evening--9.27. After 45 minutes on the phone with Apple last night, I was told that it's a server issue and they just have to work it through. It could theoretically be days.
    When I looked on iCloud, it seems that they added an "[email protected]" to my main alias, they deleted the primary email address (an alias), which was a "[email protected]" In effect, they deleted my main email address. People who send me emails are getting a failure notice—it says it's "an unknown or illegal alias."
    THIS IS MY PRIMARY EMAIL ACCOUNT! What if I were a freelancer? What if I were on a job search?
    Sorry to vent, but this is inexcusable.
    P.S. What do you use an alias as your primary email, you may wonder? Well, I married and changed my name. But Apple won't allow me to update my Apple ID accordingly AND will not allow me to transfer my perferred email address (the alias mentioned above) to it's own iCloud accout. Ridiculous.

    For some reason, my CC version of Photoshop is crashing unexpectedly when I don't have it as my current screen. Like if I have that and Lightroom open at the same time and go to Lightroom for even 5 seconds it crashes and I have to start completely back over. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if anyone knows how correct the issue. This just started happening when I installed. The most recent update about two days ago. Also some of the other applications have either been running slow or not opening at all like Bridge for example wouldn't open at all for me tonight. PLEASE HELP!!!

    This could be the activation related issue.
    Open Creative Cloud Desktop App.
    Click on the gear on top right.
    Go to Preferences and in General--> Account.
    Sign out from the cloud.
    Try to launch Photoshop and Lightroom one by one and when it asks you to license please do that and check if it works.

  • Anyone else having weird playback issues? 10.1.0

       I've noticed that Logic makes a weird "hiccup", about 1-2 second after starting playback of a (one long) audio-file...
    (It sounds as if the audio file is cut, and repeats a 16th...)
    On the track I have a pitch-shifter inserted. (Vocal  + 18cent).
    Is this something new in 10.1.0 ?

    Bumping this thread up to see if anyone else is having similar issues. I am experiencing massive drop-offs since upgrading to 1.13, almost entirely dealing with cell tower handoffs.
    It is dropping calls in places I have never seen it drop calls before, usually when I switch from one tower to another. It's almost unusable at this point if I'm driving anywhere.

    Yes, a simple search of the forums would have revealed that some users are experiencing issues.  Apple has acknowledged that a small percentage of users are experiencing problems and have announced they are working on a fix.
    Personally I have not experienced issues.    

  • Anyone else having reset loop issues with ipad or ipad mini after IOS 7.02 update ? Based on my research it looks like this release is a total disaster for a lot of users. Locking up phones and ipads. Hopefully 7.03 will fix this mess.

    My Ipad mini is in a constant reset loop since 7.02 upgrade. Did a full recover twice to Factory setting thru Itunes. That did not work. Any thoughts on this release and it's implications. Looks like many people are having the same issues.
