Is anyone else suffering dropped calls in zip code 85260?

Dropping multiple calls daily and cell bars have decreased from 3-4 to 1-2 in the past 30 days. Cell towers must be down or Verizon is losing it. I have two iPhone 5 and an IPAD, they all have weak coverage.

Yes, I have near-perfect hearing too (for scope, squeaky brakes hurt my ears) I come from many conversations on many phones and types and first off, CDMA technology is great for coverage, terrible for voice quality. HD Voice in Europe made for some of the best phone conversations I've ever had.
Back on track, feedback is most noticable (similar to the landline phone) when using the iPhone without a headset, but for me it's not an absolute criticality mainly because I use VoIP apps alot, so maybe it has desensitized me some over the past year.
But whenever I'm on a call, and the other person has me on speakerphone, I have alot of trouble talking because of the feedback loop caused. So the less of my voice I hear the better I can talk.

This just started after Maverick update installed Dec 20.frustrated and annoyed that apple would release an update that makes apple users lifes such a misery . Anyone else suffering same problems. I can switch bluetooth off that makes using multiple screens difficult which is why I bought this $ 2800 top spec Mac retina 15 inch pro in the first place. I'm using Logitech MX5500 keyboard. Logitech MX1000 mouse works fine

I am having this same issue - where I work, we use bluetooth trackpads. If my boss tries to connect his wireless bluetooth keyboard to his computer, I get the request on my machine every single time. The "Bluetooth Troubleshooting" article does not address any part of blocking requests, bluetooth security settings, or anything related to this issue at all, really. I do not believe there is currently any fix or setting that CAN resolve either of our problems, but I'm hoping that posting this at least puts the issue out there for hopefully somebody who can address this issue to see.

This usually indicates something was corrupted either during the update or when restoring at the end.

Restore as new (do not restore your backup).
Odds are, the last one will fix it. Then you can re-sync your data and media. Do NOT restore from your backup, it is corrupt.

Anyone else get a call to express your opinion about Apple TV?

Took the time to answer a series of questions about my satisfaction level with Apple TV ... fortunately, there was an open-ended question about what I would change or improve. Mine were: no sorting of tv shows by episode or season and also no playing of episodes back to back. Anyone else give Apple their two cents worth? What was it? Have to say, the unit has been smooth sailing -- it stays connected, plays seamlessly, no hiccups -- even with a power outage from a storm, once power was back on the Apple TV rebooted and automatically connected itself to ITunes ... good job.
Thanks to this forum, I re-imported some of my favorite dvds (American Beauty, Almost Famous) using Handbrake settings suggested here - and what a difference! Before that, I was pretty disappointed with the quality but with new settings - I think these movies appear to be to dvd quality -- and they stream beautifully. I guess it's no surprise that quality in=quality out.

Anyone else suffering from old emails suddenly reappearing in mailbox?

I seem to be suffering with old emails ( up to 6months old ) reappearing in the mailbox as unread. They seem to be re-downloading from the server not just becoming unread in mailbox.
Anyone else having this problem and anyone got a solution to stop it happening? 168 emails arrived today but are listing by original date received so i have to troll through mailboxes to delete again.!!

The forwarding of mail from external mail ( gmail etc ) are setup in those accounts so that they just arrive into mobile me account. The mobile me account is then imap and received by iphone, ipad and laptop as if from just one account. there is nothing in the mobile me settings except standard mail settings. ie no forwarding no rules etc.
If i do the remove the account folder is there any chance this will loose any emails? i have a lot of info that i need to keep.
Regarding the envelope index comment i have no idea what that is so the answer would be no on that one !!

Anyone else suffering from slow speeds tonight?

Hi guys,
Tonight is a weird one, I've never experienced slowdowns as much as this on my 8,128kbps sync.
Seems I am only getting around 100KB/s speeds tonight and when I took the speedtest earlier, it came back with 643kbps throughput!
The slowest I usually get is around 340KB/s in peak time. I'm on (until today if it is congested) an uncongested exchange - around 1,500 lines.
Anyone else getting speed issues tonight?

It sounds like there is a saved file in the Pages app that isn't playing nice. Maybe you have a corrupt file in Pages. If you have all of your pages files in your iTunes library on your computer - or have them saved in DropBox or anyhwere for that matter - you could try deleting each file one at atime until the app quits crashing.
One real easy thing to try first is to delete the app and then download it again. You can download it again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID and iTunes account that you purchased the app with. Sometimes that works - delete and re download.

I am having alot of dropped calls in area code 21826

I have the Iphone 5s and my wife has the Samsung s5 and the last couple week I can not make or receive a call with out it being dropped. We have lived in this house for over a year with no problems. I also have a problem with my text messages getting held up or not delivered. And yesterday I received a voice mail with out receiving a phone call 20 minutes after the voice mail was sent. Idownloaded the IS8.0 operating system to see if this would help, but it has not changed.

Thanks for all the details! I don't see anything in the area that is any different now, than it would have been a couple of weeks ago when this started. You mentioned you recently updated the software, did you perform the most recent update to 8.0.2? This update was sent out on the heels of the first iOS 8 update. If not, please update and test your phone out. Also, any issues with your wife's device? Is she experiencing the same or are you only aware of your device specifically?

Sprint dropped calls

Anyone else having dropped calls on the Iphone 5 from Sprint and they tell you its the Iphone, not the network?

Getting strange call every 2 weeks anyone else get...

Every 2 weeks now for long time I have been getting this number call me on my land line: 07049-205950....a man calls and say's "Hellow, Hellow....can you hear me....then static noise then the call goes dead....the man sounds very far away this is a patern every week same routeen....does anyone else get these call's from such numbers coded like this???? Very strange....!!

7.0.4 dropping calls

Anyone else experiencing dropped phone calls (not facetime) since this most recent update?

I purchased an iphone5 a week ago and it dropped calls steady(case or not)I could not even recieve calls.Took it back to place of purchase,they said its your sim card,I said dont think so,I was right,two completed calls.then same old same old.Took me 4hrs of online research till I found my cure(3 days and not one droppred call) so far. First I did a factory reset(after deleting all music,photos and downloaded content such as apps,ringtones,wallpapers etc) then a restart.Secondly I turned my time set/date/location to manual and set all three(found at settings-general-date and time) restart.Third I turned off caller id/call forward/call waitng(found at settings-phone) restart.Fourth I turned off passcode and screen lock(found at settings-general) restart.Fifth I turned all my push notifications off(found at setting-notification center) restart and so far so good.I did turn my caller id back on and so far so good.It is definetely a software issue and not a hardware problem.It seems they fixed one set of dropped calls to create a different set of dropped call issues.They seem to have created a conflict between to seperate peices of software programs,which interferes with the phone keeping signal.Well I hope this helps someone else out,and I will update once a week to let everyone know how it is going with this possible solution.

I created a Workflow to update a Yes/No picklist called eligibility based on a Text (Short) field called Applicant ZIP code.
It's set to update on the Opportunity page:
Before modified record saved
And the value function is:
IIf(InStr("60601_60602",[<stApplicant_Zip_Code_ITAG>|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/]+)>0,"Yes","No")+
That was a guess of how to try it while relying on my limited MS SQL & Access knowledge.
It does work correctly using what I did. The problem I have is that I actually need to choose from over 600 ZIP codes. The function window only allows for 256 characters. (And I suspect my way is fairly inelegant for search a multi-thousand character string.)
Any suggestions?

I have experienced dropped calls since I upgraded my IOS a few weeks ago. Anyone else having the same problem? AT&T blames Apple, Apple blames AT&T, I'm stuck in the middle.

I had a dropped call not long ago and it wasn't due to my iPhone or ATT. A friend with Sprint tried to call me while driving through a known low reception area with Sprint. Sprint dropped the call.
