Is anyone having any problems with the ML Xcode installation crashing your computer?
I have tried to install the new Xcode in the AppStore for ML and once it gets to the "installing" part, my computer completely crashes instantly. This is the error I was presented with when I got back into OS X:

Anyone having any problems with the iPhone not holding a charge for very long?
I've had my iPhone since November 2014. All of a sudden in the last couple of days the phone's charge drops like a brick and by the end of the day it drops down below 20%. Up to now at the end of the day it had 60%+ of battery life left. I haven't changed anything to the phone. I tried an app and deleted it after I found it to be useless to me.
I had to turn on the location feature but turned it off as soon as I deleted the app that I removed.
Anyone have any ideas or has anyone run into this.
RFAThe phone goes on the charger at night every night and is at 100% when I am up. The only thing that I use it for is calls e-mail and an occasional Text. I don't; use for music or movies or anything like that. I do play solitaire on it but that hasn't been a problem up to now. I went in and googled the iPhone 6 for power save settings and it gave me a way to look at the Activity.
The only thing that was used that day was Solitaire. I turned off Cell access to Solitaire and it seemed to last a little longer. I just turned it back on to see what happens.

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. Is anyone having a problem with the home button on a 6?
when I first got my iPhone 6, the home button was just like my other iPhones have been, my iPad, my sons iPhone 6, etc. when you pushed it, you can feel it move and you feel a little dull clck. Now the the home button on my iPhone 6 has no movement or click. It still functions, but I'm worried it is on its way to failing and if I wait to address the issue until it completely fails, then it will be out of warranty. Has anyone else experienced any problems with the home button?

Has anyone had any problems with the 10.0.3 upgrade?
I'm running WinXP and presently have Adobe Reader 9.4.3. Before I upgrade I would like to find out if anyone has had any problems with the new release? The last time I upgraded an Adobe product (Flash) it screwed up my ability to watch videos on my browser.
Any information would be appreciated.

Spin45Adobe Reader has the original 10.0.0 with its associated vulnerabilities and the patch of 10.0.1 which seems unable to run in protected mode in my environment or any that have roaming profiles. The vulnerabilities that prompted the last two patches (would have been 10.0.2 and 10.0.3) have been forgone by Adobe, because "Protected Mode mitigates those vulenrabilities". In my opinion, Reader X is not ready, they are soliciting for testers for a new release. Version 9 with its attendant problems seems to be the only viable solution for me, if I can get the patches to apply properly, and the installer to work properly. -

I have an iPad 1 and am being prompted to upgrade to the latest version software. Has anyone had any problems when doing this? Our PC runs on Wndows 7.

That's probably a good idea. If you are happy with the system as is, I'd wait to upgrade. I can report that my friends and family have mostly upgraded to iOS 5 without any problems, but as you can probably tell from other posts on this board, lots of people have run into problems.

Photoshop Elements 8 - is anyone having a problem with the screen color ?
I just installed Elements 8 & the screen color has 2 choices:
DARK (Black screen with Black & Grey text)
LIGHT (Dark Grey screen with Black text)
BOTH of these are VERY difficult to read & some text just dissapears into the background.
After speaking with the tech at Adobe, these are the only 2 choices (Dark & Light) I have.
Neither choice is worth the eye strain.
Is anyone else having the same problem ?
Has anyone found a solution ?Thanks again. I use 125% on a 23" widescreen Acer monitor. The menus display on both the PSE7 and 9 Editor but not on the 7 or 9 Organizer. For both Organizers, I get a blank space where the menu should be - and at the right of that space, the tiny, double-arrow drop-down is nearly invisible. On 7, I slid the Edit/Preferences/General/Appearance/Brightness control to the far right in order to see the drop-down arrows. But even so, clicking the drop-down then scrolling down to select the desired menu is a nuisance. On Organizer 9, I have not been able to find any Brightness or other window-color adjustment in Preferences or in any menu option, so the drop-down arrow is extremely difficult to see. Even if the menus were visible, as with the Editors, the dark grays and blacks of the windows strain my eyes. PSE has some great features, and 9 is beter that 7, but I don't want to use a photo editing app that is visually difficult to navigate. Please let me know if there is a fix for the menu display or the window brightness/color.

I have been having problems since updating to the latest version of Numbers.
When I try to open files I am getting an error.
"The document “'13 Tax Prep .numbers” is invalid.
The index.xml file is missing."

Agreed on that part. But take it a step further. If Numbers 3.1 is asked to open an old document that is still in the old Numbers 2 format that relies on an index.xml file but Numbers 3.1 can't find the index.xml file (perhaps the document is corrupted) then how can Numbers 3.1 open the document and interpret it in order to convert it to the new format? My guess is that this a possible trigger for the 'index.xml missing' error message.

Has anyone had any problem with the multi choice tick boxes on a windows computer?
I have just created a form with check boxes on my iMac, emailed it to a windows based account and found that the check boxes don't work in windows explorer. Has anyone else had this problem?
If your Mac is truly running MacOS 10.2.x, you are limited to using 128-bit WEP security - WPA is not supported.
On the Linksys router, select 128-bit WEP and enter a passphrase. The router will generate, from the passphrase, four hexadecimal-format WEP keys. Copy down the FIRST of those four WEP keys - and use that WEP key on your Mac when prompted. -
gohollywood.com, register, message came back from Hollywood Insider with a link to click on to "Download Coupon". Click on link and you should get the coupon and you print it out. All my friends have done it but I can't. I get various error messages including : "HTTP error 400 - the request is badly formed".... or you have a blocker set.....
Unless it is a Gmail/Firefox blocker or firewall, I don't have anything set up as a blocker on my email. Had a few friends go in my account on their computers and they had the same thing happen. However when they go in under their names they get to the link with no problems. HELP.Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -
Is anyone having a problem with the power plugs?
My power plugs are getting shorts to where they will not charge up the laptop any longer. I had this laptop 2 years and been through 3 cords already. Sometimes they get really hot too

Is anyone having a problem with the 3G on the new iPad 3rd generation?
I took my SIM from my iPad One (where it works perfectly) and transferred to my new iPad Third Generation, but even though it shows a full signal the speed of the 3G is very, very slow. Most web pages never finish loading. I contacted Apple and they say it's a hardware fault, and are sending me a replacement iPad. I wondered if anyone else was experiencing this issue?

Is anyone having a problem with the audio jack?
My phone audio jack is not working. When connecting, the sound only comes out of phone not device cord is connected to like car stereo. Please help. I rebooted, checked settings to no luck.
I was very disappointed to discover that the link provided by Verizon Customer Support above does not take you directly to information on how to do a "master resetting your device" as prescribed. So I gave up on that option and I am glad I did.
