Is anyone having difficulty viewing calendar or adding appointments on iPhone 5 after updating to iOS7?

Ever since updating to iOS7 viewing calendar is more awkward, I preferred month view, then could select a date and view appointment list for day below the month. Now, while you can get to that, eventually, it shows half the month, and can't scroll to later dates.
Also, the touchscreen isn't as sensitive sometimes, but not always.

In the new layout when you finally get to the months overview,
you need to swipe up and down to scroll through months.
And I fully agree with you, this new overview in calendar is not very nice or clear.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

is anyone having trouble with the keyboard sensitivity on the iphone? I am typing, but can sometimes get a delay of 5 seconds or more before the letters actually appear on the screen.
This is across all apps.
Does not seem to be an issue with opening apps or scrolling etc., but only with the keyboard.

Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

I think a few have.
Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Outlook 2007 + Exchange. Anyone having success syncing calendar?

There are a ton of messages here about calendar sync issues with Outlook but few describe how Outlook is being used. When Outlook 2007 is connected to Exchange the default setup is to use an "OST" file instead of a "PST". Is anyone successfully syncing their calendar when Outlook is using an OST file? I can sync perfectly if I copy my OST data to a PST, but not if I want to keep the OST. Moving to a PST isn't an option since it downloads mail to my laptop instead of keeping it on the server.

I hte working in Outlook cached mode with OST. Turn off cache mode, then disable offline folders. You can then sync jut fine.

I am having an issue waking my late 2007 MBP from hibernation after I updated to OSX 10.8 Mountain lion. Anything I can do to fix this? I cannot keep doing a hard reset.

for people with this problem in the future. I ended up solving this by taking out and reinserting the RAM. I had previously bought RAM from crucial.com and I thought it may have been a compatibility issue with that. After taking out the RAM and reinserting I have not had the problem. Be sure to insert the RAM with force, almost to the point it hurts. I think the problem for the MAC not waking from sleep was due to the RAM not properly inserted or being jarred out over time and not related to the instal of 10.8. also, if you are no longer under applecare and you call apple with an issue you get retards.

After updating to IOS7.02 my speakers went funny, making fuzzy noises. Does anyone know why?

My ipad works well until last night when I received a prompt to update to IOS7.02. After that the speakers decided to throw the towel,making very fuzzy noise. Does anyone know what's wrong. I did not drop or did any physical damage to it. Updating to IOS7.02 was the only thing i did differently!!!!

Try going into the settings and 'reset all settings'
The downside is that you have to retweak your iPad, but it's helped with some people.

Having difficulty viewing pictures in Aperture browser

I have a Sony Cybershot camera and when I import photo into my Aperture, the viewer displays all photos in black. when I split the viewer and select a "black" image, the browser will display the picture but I can only see my pictures one at a time and only when I split the browser. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it an Aperture issue, or a Sony issue, or even a Maverick issue? It's very frustrating that i can't see the pctures I take until I select one in the viewer. If anyone can help me resolve this, I would be most grateful.
